We just hosted our wedding ceremony at the hotel terrace and cafe. The service, food and amenities were incredible. We had the wedding or our dreams. Shane, the even coordinator was great since the beginning. He is transparent, helpful and kind. He was there for us for anything we needed. All our guest were impressed with the wedding. Went for breakfast. First time ever something called an "All American Breakfast" calls for potatoes OR toast! At $16.95 for 2 eggs and meat and 1 of the 2 it isn't even the price as it is on the water but shows their shrinkflation strategies. The server said everyone complains and thinks it is the ultimate rip off when they charge $5.95 for potatoes as a side. Lose the name it is not All American. Won't be back. read more

The location was everything! The hotel is right on the beach with quick access to front desk/ valet. Check in was easy and smooth. We were upgraded to an ocean view which was a great surprise. They provide chairs, umbrellas and towels included in the resort fees but definitely worth it. The hotel was clean and lots of places to eat and get drinks. Visited Deerfield Beach for a family wedding and the bride/groom picked Wyndham for their block rate hotel for out-of-town guests. The block rate was worth it and the extra night we stayed without the block rate, phew, big price increase! The Wyndham faces the beach, and a one-way street separates you from the beach. There is a valet if you are staying with a car. The lobby is bright and welcoming. Staff were friendly and upon check-in they offered you a glass of champagne. The hotel has an outdoor pool, and I don't think it is heated. The pool also has a jacuzzi with longue chairs. The elevators are the worst. Very small and can fit 3 adults in there without luggage - anything or anyone else the elevator gets very small and cramped. The elevators were also confused and stuck on whether they should be going up or down. The hotel is in a good location for bars/restaurants - very walkable. Our room was nice with tile floors and beds/pillows were comfortable. There is a balcony that is essentially a 1/2 foot of a cement platform. The city side view is alleys and ac units. Not much to look at. The room had a refrigerator and two complimentary water bottles. The bathroom has a heavy bathroom door that was hard to push back-and-forth. At first glance everything seems clean but if you stop and look you notice some dingy areas with nicks and marks. Food wise - they have Burger Craze (faces downtown), Patio Bar & Grill (this faces the ocean/beach), and not open and no idea when it will open is the Vaniglia E Cioccolato Gelateria. The beach attendant was awesome - we told him we wanted three chairs, and he promptly got us chairs and an umbrella. The hotel offers beach towels, and they scare tactic you to be sure to return their towels to the lobby and they go in a wagon. We were told if you don't return them then you will be charged but there is no check-in or check-out progress to the towels. You are also given a band that you wear while on the beach to prove that you are a hotel guest. This hotel seems like one of the nicer ones along Deerfield Beach that has beach/ocean front access. read more

The hotel ?... where should I begin... location...Location...location...I drove pass this hotel 5 years ago and knew I had to stay here...have been going every spring now for each of the years since. Rooms are beautiful...especially if they have an ocean view. Beds are incredible comfortable. The beach is across the street...beach boys set you up with lounge chairs, umbrella and a table...early afternoon hotel sends out trays of fresh fruit for the beach hotel guests...hotel is situated at the pier and walking distance close to some great eateries, of varying price points. Hotel has their own cafe looking out to the beach, open air..a beautiful place to start your day. My wife and I look forward to our week stay annually... it's the only vacation where I can actually relax in my entire life.. that is no exaggeration. Everything you may need is situated right here. Stayed at this beach front hotel for a few days in July. This is a modern hotel with all of the amenities. There is a nice outdoor pool and spa area. The Patio Bar & Grill is a full service restaurant and bar. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the beach. Food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. They also have a burger restaurant. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The service was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. On the beach there is a chair and umbrella concession. They have a parking lot behind the hotel which offers self and valet parking for a fee. I think self parking was $20 a day. The hotel is located near the pier and town area. There are many shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. The beach is one of the best in Florida. read more

This is a great hotel located across from the ocean that offers a lot in the way of the view, things to do in the area (plenty of bars, restaurants, etc.), the rooms, service and more. Be warned that self parking is $17.00 a day (even more for valet) and the self parking lot is down the street and around the corner from the entrance of the hotel. Other than that, the hotel was a very positive experience. The hotel does have a bar that serves food attached to it, but there are plenty of other options within easy walking distance from the hotel. I saw a few pizza places, an upscale seafood restaurant, a Flanigan's (a local small chain of bar/restaurants in South Florida, think along the lines of a TGIF's), a cafe and plenty more. If you can't find what you are in the mood for, you aren't trying at all. Service is friendly and professional. All in all, I would recommend here. read more

Wow! The Wyndham Deerfield Beach saved me and my husband's trip from being awful. We were supposed to stay in Ft. Lauderdale but the hotel over there was dealing with a fiasco, so we booked here literally last minute. How refreshing it was to be greeted with excellent customer service the moment we drove up to the front late at night versus the nightmare we were dealing with in Ft L. We were greeted by kind valet and front desk staff. They offered us a glass of champagne and kindly talked about the amenities they offer. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless and the bed super comfy. I really liked that the beach was mere footsteps from the entrance and you could rent out various things for the day like chairs. We have stayed in a number of Wyndham time share properties over the years. This resort just didn't measure up to what we were used to in the past 30 years. We have owned time shares for more than 40 years. Most have been exception. When our kids left home and stayed in motels they let us know how much more they enjoyed the resorts they visited with us. There were a few updates at this resort that were nice, such as lamps with phone charger plugs built in. But a number of things took away from the experience. Things like an outlet mounted incorrectly and recessed into the wall (see pic), bad paint jobs, even a lamp with a shade holder with a stripped nut so it flopped all over. After COVID many of the resorts went through tough times but travel seems to be turning around again. Little details that make a lot of difference in a resort, hopefully they can turn things around. read more

This hotel came to our rescue after we had to evacuate our air bnb due to a terrible experience. We weren't sure on what to do and happened to stumble upon this hotel around as we walked around the block from the place we previously spent the night. We were warmly greeted by the front desk rep who got us fixed up within a matter of minutes. Keys were given to us and we were able to check in although check in is normally hours away from when we got to the hotel. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were clean and tidy with no issues. This hotel was truly our savior and we were able to enjoy the area without having to go too far from where we were. read more

I have stayed in all different accommodations in my life. As a young college student up to 5 and even 6 star resorts. I have even stayed in total " dives" which were not even worthy of radar. This " resort " however is worthy of the accolade of the worst establishment I have ever had the misfortune to check in to in my life. From check-in staff who must have been trained by Al Queda in attitude, to not having one of the two rooms we booked months before available by their late check- in time (4pm) - it was after 7 pm, yes 7 pm that we were able to get a replacement room for the one we booked which was still unavailable, after keeping us waiting from 2pm, to the room a/c not working, smelling of damp constantly, ( room 507), to not being able to sleep even at 2 am with the noise, and then when we asked for a late checkout for just 1 of the rooms, after all that, they demanded 50 bucks. So, we had to check in over 3-4 hours late but couldn't even get a late checkout. Front staff constantly talking through us. One even interrupted us and then said when we asked her why, that WE were being rude. I politely asked her to explain that. Where do I even start. This place deserves WAY more than 5 stars. The city started to do construction on the beach days before we had been scheduled to get married in front of their hotel. Huge pipes had been laid out everywhere. I for sure thought my ceremony was ruined. Luckily, Mathew the event coordinator made it his life mission to turn things around for the better. Our new location had been moved to a roof Top patio area that over looked the beach. Everything happens for a reason and I think the new location has been way better then our original location on the beach. Afterwards they accommodated us at the Med Cafe for complimentary champagne and snacks for our small group of guest and us. It was a staycation kind of weekend. One Friday night after my husband worked all day, we decided it was time for a break, time to get away and reconnect. We'd become quite familiar with the Wyndham location in Boca Raton and have enjoyed many nights with them. This one is different and has its own kind of lure, we had to give it a try. Our stay was pleasant. Our room was cozy, on the 8th floor, overlooking the ocean that offered a beautiful view by day, and an even more enjoyable view at night. This particular weekend, the resort seemed to be quiet and more relaxed than some other resorts during the warmer months of the year. There is a restaurant located on the lobby floor that we had the pleasure of dining in. We checked in after midnight and the gentleman at the front desk did a great job welcoming us. It was raining and he arranged to have someone meet us in the front with an umbrella. That was a very nice touch. He also made sure that our bags made it to our room without us as we walked around the resort, taking in the scenery and walking out on the oceans pier until our hearts were content. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again. It's a great place for a weekend getaway, business and or pleasure trip. read more

The hotel was very clean and in a great location. Also very secure, guest need to use their key card to ride the elevator. My only complaint is the service at the patio bar. The bartenders were very busy and due to that were very unfriendly. We spent the day at the pool and ordered a frozen drink only for the bartender to complain right in front of us that they need to start telling people the blender is broken. When we first arrived we went here for breakfast and asked for the bill to be split to then be called annoying. The restaurant had great potential but unfortunately it's just not there yet. read more

It's 2:00 am and this is happening outside the hotel it's literally rattling the windows and I'm on the third floor, and it's been going on for hours. The bathroom was very dirty with hair all over the floor and toilet. The bathroom drain smelled really bad and we had mascara stains on the towels. We have now stayed at the Wyndam Deerfield Beach Resort twice now and I'm starting to think of Deerfield as a year round "Summer like" destination, even in the wnter months. We were able to book a King Suite overlooking the ocean and the Deerfield Beach Pier, waking up to that view is priceless. I couldn't get enough pictures. The access to the beach is fantastic, it's just right outside. The rooms are really nice and comfy with an added chaise lounge by the window to relax and enjoy the room. Every room has a mini fridge set up that makes it easy to stock up your snacks for beach days. Since I'm away from home, I often take advantage of the hotel gym. They have nice new equipment and it's never really busy. Helps me stay on track, while being able tp watch TV from my treadmill. I also love sunbathing by the pool, it has nice sun throughout the day til about a couple hours before sundown. We picked this hotel because it is the nicest hotel in the area and is located on the beach and near restaurants, bars and shops. There are plenty of places to try out within walking distance, but the Patio Bar located inside the hotel is delicious as well. They were currently working on building a restaurant - Cafe Med, burger place called Burger Craze and a Gelateria, which will be nice for the upcoming year and summer. read more

This hotel is decent, rooms do not have carpeting on the floor and seems cleaner with tile. The beach is right across the street, however, they do charge $34.00 per day when you arrive at the hotel for Hotel Service Fee, plus a $20.00 per day self parking fee which I did not expect and it added up by the end of my stay. When I booked the room, I booked for CITY VIEW, but when I looked out the window, it was a view of the DUMPSTERS, AIR CONDITIONING UNITS on the roof of the floor below us and BLACK SPOTS all over the roof. They all show us beautiful pics online but its only to get the business. read more

Hotel is great however they have no microwave or coffee in the lobby. 20+ dollars a day for self park and valet is more. The one place to eat and drink by the water (Patio grill) is not good. The service is slow and spotty at best, the food is not great and the alcohol is so watered down, I have to question if there was actually any in my drink. read more

This was probably one of the nicest Wyndham properties I have ever stayed at. Located right on the beach, this location is absolutely beautiful. THe property is updated and very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean and the bathrooms are nice and roomy. I had a city view which wasn't the best, but i was able to view the city, a beach view would have been spectacular. The elevators are super small and may fit 3-4 small people. The lobby is beautiful and again, their customer service is nice. The bed was comfortable and I only wish that the pillows were a bit more firm. I had to lay on 3 of them just to get comfortable. I went to the property for an overnight business trip and was so sad to leave. There are 3 restaurants connected to the property, and the Patio Bar is sooo nice. I didn't have an opportunity to visit the others, but was told that he Italian restaurant also serves breakfast, and the other is a burger joint. The Patio Bar opens to a view of the beach, and in February, it is a FANTASTIC view! The breeze was blowing and the water was rustling against the beach and it was just simply breathtaking. The Patio Bar serves American food and top shelf alcohol beverages that were delicious. The staff at the bar were fantastic and very friendly. We had the lobster and shrimp flatbread, and let me tell you, it was sooo sooo good. We also had the calamari and it was lightly fried and comes with 3 different dipping sauces. It was so good and so fresh. The smells of the other meals passing by were incredible. I give this location 4 stars because they don't offer complimentary coffee and the cost of parking is quite high. For the amount you pay for the rooms, the parking should be included, especially since you are staying on the beach. read more

Probably should be 4.5 but there are enough really good things about this hotel to justify rounding up, even though there are a couple of things that could stand improvement. First, the good things: the location is excellent. The hotel is right across a small street from an excellent beach, and is steps away from the pier and a collection of restaurants and shops. The staff here is very friendly, efficient and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Our room (a double queen) had a great ocean view with floor-to-ceiling windows, and was reasonably large. The pool, however, was a bit smaller (and older) than I expected it to be. The furniture in the room was also somewhat on the older side; our dresser drawers, for example, consistently stuck when we tried to open and close them. Prices here are also very high, but if you're part of a business group the group might be able to negotiate a reduced business rate. I'd be happy to stay here again. read more

I love staying at Wyndham hotels. The location of this resort was amazing. We chose a weekend where there were 3 parties so the hotel and elevators was extremely busy. The front staff seemed a little stressed. Cesar is a rock star. He was so helpful. We tried to check in early and were told our room was not available. We asked if they could hold our luggage and were told they didn't have space however Cesar made sure to find space for us. He even made sure to put our beach chairs and umbrella together for us at the pool. The pool is very small. Due to one of the parties they closed it at 6:30pm which was super disappointing. They kicked us out for no reason they said a noise complaint when we had only been there for an hour and that hour was spent at a restaurant far away from the building.
