Some good things and some bad things. I guess I will start with the good. It was conveniently located to the locations for a wedding I was in town with the misses. We booked through the wedding party so they already negotiated at rate. The check in process was easy. When we arrived the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Common areas looked nice. On site amenities included a pool, bar, and complimentary breakfast served daily. The room was ready early so we could get settled in after the flight. Now to the bad. The room was a little meh. Large coffee stain on the carpet and some dust. Nothing major. The cabinet that housed the mini fridge was a little beat up. When I went to plug in my cell phone charger a noticed an outlet was damaged with some of the wiring exposed. Needless to say I don't use that plug. The light fixture near the bed was leaning to the side and the lamp shade was very beat up. Not would you would expect for the price point. The management do ask if there was anything they could do to remedy this room but they would be unable to give us a new room. So really there was nothing they would be doing but I suppose it's the thought that counts. Also could not ever get the WIFI to work. Overall not bad but not good either. Would not be my first choice for a hotel in the area. read more

Stayed here for the weekend and it's located in a great area of Downtown Boca. Walkable to Mizner and other shops and restaurants like Flanigan's and Raw Juce. I really like that this hotel has checkout at 12pm and provides full breakfast, which hit the spot during my stay here. Very spacious room and bathroom here too. The pool and gym are pretty nice as well, and on the floor of the pool and gym, there's an ice cream machine (not free). Based on the location of the hotel, you would expect it to be more luxurious. The hallways were so hot and humid as if you were outside. The room smelled a little stale and mildew, but thankfully I always travel with my disinfectants and sprays. The parking garage is a bit tight when driving in and out so be careful. The cost overnight was not bad, as it was $25/night. We did have to run the water for some time as it was not warming up initially, which is crazy. We stayed on the 15th floor which was nice as we had a view of the beach, which was serene and peaceful. Staying here was enjoyable & it checked off most of the boxes I look for when considering a good hotel. The room was spacious with a king bed & large sofa that had a pull-out bed as well. The bed itself was really comfortable & there were enough pillows to choose between. Like most hotels, these pillows were very soft & could've been a little more firm; that's just a personal preference. Nothing a couple stacked on top of each other won't fix though, so no real complaints. The A/C was great, it kept my room ice cold. The shower had solid pressure & no lack of hot water. The bathroom was spotless, as expected & had enough towels of all sizes. There was a good sized TV, a big desk & a nice closet that came with coat hangers. Also the lobby & hallways were very clean. My biggest complaint, however, is that you could hear doors slam sometimes. Luckily it didn't happen too often but I could see getting tired of it real fast. The walls were pretty thin so it would've been a pain if I had noisy neighbors. It's something that could be a total game changer for me because I'm a very light sleeper. Overall, my stay here was good & I'd recommend it if you're nearby. I'll definitely book here again if I'm staying downtown overnight. read more

Hyatt place is not known for its amenities or nicely designed hotels. However, a comfortable bed, pillows, and quiet should be their minimum standard. The pillows are cheap Walmart quality, with a mattress less comfortable than air mattresses I've slept on. This hotel needs to be updated, the room is not in good condition. I could hear other people sneeze in the hallway, that's how thin the walls are. Other than an excellent location, there aren't many other qualities at this hotel. read more

Condensing my complaint, I sent to corporate: 1. At check-in My family was having a "moment" with each other while in the lobby (wedding stress) and later came back to the front desk to see the attendant was literally talking about us!! I understand talking about crazy customers BUT GO IN THE BACK ARE YOU SERIOUS. I am also in a customer-facing job and that baffled me. 2. The Bride (my sister) paid a ridiculous fee to have welcome bags delivered to each guest's room which they NEVER DID, even during check-in when we tried to clarify the miscommunication, the desk attendant said, "That will have to be a tomorrow problem" What?? No apologies? No, "I'll make sure to relay that information" and she clearly never did because the bags sat for DAYS. She might've forgotten because she was too busy talking!! 3. I had an allergic reaction to the feather pillows, let the woman at the desk know (WHO WAS WONDERFUL) and she asked housekeeping to replace all the bedding and grab foam pillows. When I get back to my room what do I find? FEATHER PILLOWS AGAIN. I had already gone to Urgent Care once for a steroid shot that cost me $180 and I was in disbelief that housekeeping would either be lazy or completely negligent to redo everything just to give me MORE feather pillows. Maybe they were trying to intentionally end me at that point. read more

This stay was a bit tricky for two reasons: 1) I've never had to put up with SO MANY slamming doors during a hotel stay and 2) the morning after arrival (w/ only 4 hours of sleep) the fire alarm went off and I had to schlep down 12 flights of stairs! Aaarrgh! Having said that, this Hyatt wasn't too bad at all. Pretty clean and the staff was very helpful. It is walking distance to the Boca Raton Brightline and there's tons of dining, drinking, and shopping available nearby. Also, this Hyatt had possibly THE BEST BREAKFAST I have ever seen in a hotel (included with your stay) and the crew in charge take pride in keeping items stocked and the eating area clean (TYVM!) I didn't visit the pool or gym during my stay but they appeared standard enough. The bar area looked nice and you need your room key to even enter the hotel (first time I have ever seen that). Would I stay again? For the breakfast, yes. But I would request a room (far) away from too many other patrons. read more

I had a conference in the area and they suggested to stay at the Hyatt Place at Boca Raton. The two queen bed room was big and had a pull out couch. Everything looked clean. Bathroom was quite nice. Outdoor infinity pool was nice but because of the location the sun gets blocked by the building quite early. Exercise room had generic dumbbell and treadmills. Breakfast was complimentary in the morning. $24 a night for parking. Overall a solid hotel to stay at plus it's close to the beach. read more

I stayed two nights at this Hyatt recently. Its ups outweighed its downs: THE GOOD STUFF * Front desk staff let me check in at 10AM and upgraded me to a massive suite for a minimal upgrade fee * None of those silly "resort fees" * Bed was comfortable * Bar is lively, with locals and their pets stopping by, and bartender Jason was very friendly * Pool is decent-sized and actually suitable for laps * It's within a couple blocks of the Brightline station and a lots of restaurants and bars (the Italian place in the same building is excellent... review coming up...). The beach is about a mile walk away. * Solid 100mbs WiFi, although I might have been given an upgraded plan * Housekeeping did a thorough job, even though they needed to be summoned THE NOT SO GOOD * The window shades were stuck in the down position, which obscured views that the very dirty windows already obscured * No in-room safe * Shower water pressure was extremely low. C'mon, guys. There's plenty of water in Florida. The state is probably 80% water, going on 100% by the end of the century. I'd consider staying there again if I'm ever in that area again. read more

Located in a great location, this Hyatt Place is one of the best we have stayed in. It is right next door to Louie Bossi Italian Restaurant. There are also other restaurants you can walk to. The hotel is modern and clean. It has a parking garage next to it which is pricey for Hyatt Guests. Right around the corner is a Public Parking Garage which is quite reasonable. A decent Breakfast is included daily. Dogs are allowed. Many were guests while we were there. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this Hyatt Place. read more

I was here for 2 night earlier in in May for what the kids call "a work thingy" I have been living in the area for almost a year. Some of the hotels can be kind of Meh. But this one far exceeded my expectations. Aside from checking in and having a funky old laundry smell in my room it was ok. After a few hours that smell wasn't there. It's in the middle of the almost the beach area of Boca. Near a park where on Saturday nights you can see people do their drum circle if that's your thing. Louie Bossi is a nice restaurant right next door. The complimentary breakfast is good. Everything is fresh, coffee is great and the eggs are good. I think the supposed scrambled eggs are not scrambled but maybe cooked or boiled. Honestly your better off with the hard boiled eggs. Staff was good. I very much enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt of Boca Raton for both the location and the hotel itself. The room was spacious and clean and included a small sitting area. The breakfast that was included was satisfying. I was glad that they had a variety of teas, good coffee, and fresh fruit. The other options were typical breakfast foods, such as scrambled eggs, pork sausage, biscuits and gravy and hash browns. The hotel itself has a beautiful, outdoor, rooftop pool. You can gather a good number of people on the pool deck. There were many nearby restaurants and bars in a walkable distance. I appreciated that I was able to bar hop for the entire evening/ night without having to rely on public transportation or use my own car. read more

The hotel was clean and for members they had breakfast which was good even though it's the usual breakfast you get at other hotels like this . They have a pool on the 7th floor that is very nice and over looks the city a little and on the 11th floor there is a patio to lounge around and more views of the city . Downstairs there is an Italian restaurant attached called Louie Bossi's and it is very good . Mizner park is close by as well and has more shops and restaurants too. The Hotel Room - #934 * We had 2 queen beds and there was a sofa bed as well . * The bathroom was clean and updated and has a glass shower which was nice Cons - * the AC goes down to 65° only and has a motion sensor making it hot at night in this summer heat and if you like cold when you sleep like me that sux . * water stain on the wall * broken piece of wood by bed ( cut my foot) * housekeeping making noise and talking loud early in the morning while we are trying to sleep and staycation .Besides that the housekeepers are very nice and pleasant. read more

My father left air pods in room and have left several messages for housekeeping manager to call me nothing has ever transpired. So, to be clear -no microwave in room They will not clean your room. throw out trash. Give you towels or toilet paper, housekeeping does not speak any language known to man including English or Spanish. If you leave something in the room consider it gone. read more

I'll cut to the chase. Overall I would recommend a stay here if you are looking to stay in downtown Boca. With that said there are pros and cons to this hotel: Pros: -The first thing you notice when you walk in is that this hotel smells fresh! I don't know how to describe the scent but it is fresh and welcoming. -Rooms are contemporary in their styling. I had a king sized bed room which I would describe as an ample suite. The bathroom was pretty and the shower was spacious and comfortable. It contained pump bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Rooms are clean and housekeeping does a good job! -The hotel has a comfortable lobby with a nice sized bar that is fully stocked. The bartender Jason is super nice. From what I noticed you can order small dishes. On the other side of the lobby they have a nice area with tables and restaurant like seating perfect for eating at or doing work from. Lots of TVs that are always tuned into sports. -The hotel serves a very good continental breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, cereals, french toast, bagels, coffee and juices. Get downstairs by 9:30a to enjoy! -The pool while small on the 7th floor is a very nice infinity pool. On 7 you will also see there is a fitness center. The 11th floor also has a outdoor deck with couches and a great view of downtown Boca. Cons: -Front desk staff isn't very welcoming. While the staff is accomodating, don't expect service with a smile as you would get at other Hyatt properties such as Ziva. Our party checked in early and upon check-in the front desk was a bit slow in helping us. They also said there were no king sized bed rooms available, even though this is what we reserved. Turns out what they meant was that king sized bed rooms were not yet available but if we waited until our scheduled check-in time they would be. It was a misunderstanding, but worth noting. First impressions are everything and the lobby staff can do better. -Also upon check-in, the staff member was supposed to take our bags to the back while we waited for our rooms. She took 1 of our bags back and then got distracted doing other things not related to our check-in and we had to take them back to the employee area ourself and afix property tags on the bags ourself. -One day members of our party wanted recommendations for good nearby spas in downtown Boca. Once again members of the front desk staff at the concierge desk misunderstood and thought they were asking where the spa was in the hotel (there isn't one of course). If they only took more time to listen to their guests, they could get it right on shot #1. In any event the concierge staff didn't have any recommendations. If you have a concierge desk, which is a nice touch, equip your concierge's with the info they need to do their job. -Elevators... ahh yes the elevators. These are memorable! Each elevator has two sets of buttons and two doors. One side brings you to employee areas of the hotel, the other side brings you to guest areas. This was super confusing at the start of our stay and I noticed other guests experiencing the same issues as we pressed the employee buttons and arrived in employee areas of the hotel. Also as a guest, do we want to see the elevator doors opening to hotel offices, breakrooms etc? Make one elevator an employee/customer elevator and the rest guest only elevators and remove the other set of buttons. -The hotel was going about some rennovations which made the lobby very dusty in the afternoons and also prevented guests from using the lobby restrooms. They did a pretty shoddy job running wires from the floor of the concierge desk to the main desk using electrical like tape that made the area look a bit tacky for a Hyatt property. If I had to give this hotel a school grade from A-to-F, I would say it deserves a C. I believe this grade could be improved overall with a better trained lobby staff. read more

Rooms are not clean. The first room they assigned for check-in, the couch cushions were all over turned & it looked like someone had been in the room. The next room we got had stains on the floor like someone had peed on it. Definitely unexpected considering the downtown boca location. Carolina and Shannon assisted me with Checkout and additional support if needed, but it wasn't. We live a few blocks down the road and a plumbing issue arose in our apartment, we stayed here for a night and they did not disappoint. They even have a great lil complimentary breakfast from 6a-9a that was really solid with sandwiches, cereal, coffee, juices. Honestly one of the best i've seen for free. Great stay. Great place, and pet friendly too. Hyatt is moving on up there in great experiences for their tenants. This is my first night the Hyatt Boca Raton Downtown is amazing . Centrally located near many restaurants and shops . The hotel is very clean . My room was ready very early which was a plus . The rooms are very spacious . Small refrigerator in the room also a desk and couch . The bed was comfortable. Huge television. I was on the 7 th floor that's where the lovely pool & gym is located . They have a restaurant attached to the hotel I have not tried it yet . Breakfast is included with your stay . The breakfast is very well presented with plenty to choose from . Eggs bacon potatoes breads muffins , a yogurt bar , coffee bar with every type of milk almond , goat , regular, half & half . Breakfast tacos . The breakfast area is very spacious. They also have a few televisions in the breakfast area . The front desk staff was very friendly when I checked in . I did see a guest with 2 small dogs therefore this is a pet friendly hotel . The beach is about 1 mile away walking distance. Overall this is a lovely hotel and I would definitely recommend it . For anyone complaining about this hotel they need to book at the Ritz Carlton . It really nice hotel in a prime location! I got a room here for my sister's wedding and it was a great choice. The room was incredibly spacious and very clean. The bed was comfy and the rooftop pool was an excellent escape. My only complaint was that the train tracks that run right next to the hotel can be very loud/annoying. They serve free breakfast every morning which includes a large spread. I would stay here again and perhaps get a room facing away from the train tracks. read more

The hotel would have been excellent except for the offensive cleaning fluid odor in the common areas. Being asthmatic I had to run in and out of the elevator and lobby and I am still suffering the effects of Fabuloso in my lungs. I am unsure why a giant corporation would use cheap chemicals to clean other than to maximize profits. The first night I could smell it all night. It eventually died down in the room but the elevator was unbearable. The front desk had masks on so they were probably bothered too. It totally ruined my stay. read more

I'm a local and watched this Hyatt Place being built from the foundation up. It's a sleek contemporary building with king and queen sized beds in rooms which contain a comfortable sofa which can be used as a pull out bed. It includes a rooftop infinity pool as well as another rooftop area for gatherings, drinks and food. They offer breakfast in a open and inviting dining area on the ground floor off the lobby. There are also two bars serving wine beer and hard liquor. Housekeeping does a good job keeping the property sharp. Everything in my room worked without any problem including the AC thermostat. One reviewer claimed the room was hot at night when sleeping because the thermostat was activated by motion and if no motion, no AC. I did not have that problem. It was icy cold. Out of town guests? Have them stay here. Loss of power? Go here. And yes, they are dog friendly (extra cleaning fee) and have lots of parking in their garage. I thought this was a fine hotel without being luxurious or extraordinary. The rooms are modern and functional but not what I'd call inviting. It meets the needs of a business traveler, but that's about it. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there's plenty nearby to choose from (my favorite was a Mediterranean place just down the street). The included breakfast had enough options to satisfy most people. My one negative is that the address leads Uber/Lyft drivers to the busy street side of things but there is no stopping or drop off there. You'd need to know to go to the "back" side of the hotel. The hotel should probably display a street level sign directing drop off and pick up drivers to the back of the hotel. read more

This place was awesome! The location is beautiful, the rooms were beautiful, the pool was beautiful and they have an amazing free breakfast! (I believe you can only get free breakfast if you are a Hyatt rewards member, it's worth signing up for!) another perk for being a rewards member is that you get free parking! I didn't learn this til after we checked out which kind of peeved me. I feel like the front desk person should have said something, i think it says whether you are a member or not on your reservation. Anyway, if you take advantage of the free breakfast and free parking (normally $22.50/night) and pair it with the nice rooms and beautiful pool this place is a great deal! read more

Parking is 23.00 daily and the cell signal is weak inside hotel. The WiFi wasn't the greatest as well. Free breakfast was great for a free one vs Hilton or Marriott. Fantastic location right in the heart of Boca Raton! We checked in around 4 pm, the front desk was very nice! They warned us that parking around the hotel was strict, so our best bet was to pay $19 a night to stay in the hotels parking garage. Our room was beyond clean, brand new T.V and excellent king size bed with a nice couch, and desk! The bathroom was spacious and luxury. We were able to walk to Mizner Park which took us less than five minutes; where there are bars, restaurants, and shops. After dinner we decided to check out the pool which was an infinity pool! It was heated and had a fantastic view of the city. Complimentary breakfast ends at 10 am. They have eggs, oatmeal, and the usual breakfast food. Also almond milk, soy, and regular which I thought was important to have and a plethora of juice and teas. All in all, I am very pleased with my stay at this hotel and will definitely return back. The only issue i had was one of the front desk staff was so distracted by leaving her cell phone in her car that while assisting me, she just disappeared. She stood at the desk and said yes I'll help you, I'll do that. Walked behind the wall to the right, didn't come back, I sent another front desk person to find her. She popped out and exclaimed she left her phone in her car and took off, no words, and left the building through the front door. Her cell phone, sitting in her car, took precedence over a simple request of adding some drinks to my room bill and that blew my mind. I then asked another lady to help me and she did, but wow that's an odd way to give customer service. I stayed here for four days for a conference. My flight was a red-eye from Los Angeles that arrived in Boca Raton at 0700 AM. I got to the hotel praying I would be able to check-in early...and they happily obliged! It was truly life-saving! I could not be any happier to have a bed to sleep-in after a long flight and barely any sleep. The room was otherwise very clean, great view, and had all the usual amenities. It is also walking distance from many of the shops around town and if your conference is at the Boca Raton Resort, its a $6 Lyft one-way. read more
