Where to start? We checked in late. We were exhausted. There were many issues with the rooms. No pressure in the shower. Bed sheet stains and human hairs in the bed. Bathroom tap kept dropping water and could be not closed properly. Woman at counter was nice to change room but however was surprised to know about hairs in bed. She got a bit impatient when the 2nd room and 3rd room had same issue. They smell bad. All three had same odour. Had to endure that all night. Finally asked for new bedsheet so that i can do the job. Bedsheet was old and i could see through the sheet at some places. I am aware that if i use blue light, it might be disgusting to sleep but i am not used to sleeping in strangers hairs in the bed. I know it is not her fault doing the bed, but still i had to listen to an explanation that the cleaning lady might lose hair in the bad. she mentioned afro American, which now makes me think that is a bit racist to point this out. We checked in for a 4-night stay. The hallways and elevator looked like they'd never been cleaned. The room had the smell of old mold. I asked to see a different room but it was the same. I called Orbitz who, in turn, contacted the hotel and was told we could stay one night and we'd be credited for the remaining three nights. Checked out the next morning but foolishly, did not ask for a final bill. BTW - the motel's "free breakfast" consisted of packages of instant oatmeal - but there were no bowls or insuated cups to accommodate - only thin water cups! After returning from the trip a week later, I checked my CC account to find we'd been charged the full amount. I contacted the hotel 2 times and the managers (one of which were named "Chandroy") were never available. The personnel lied to me and lied to Orbitz about the agreed upon refund because they are greedy, dishonest, and rude. I called Orbitz and after a long period of time and many email communications, they were able to refund part of my charges. Orbitz is the best. BTW - For the remaining three nights we booked "The Hillsboro powered by Sonder" which was a little more expensive but clean, lovely, and on the beach! Very nice. Please, please...for the sake of your health, safety, and sanity, do not consider staying at this motel from hell. read more

Customer service is nice at this Hampton Inn and stated she upgraded our room to a bigger room from what we previously selected. I do think the price point was still pretty high for what it's worth. This hotel does show its age throughout with its trims as well as in the rooms and bathrooms. They did seem fairly clean but looking at the hotel closer it did show its age and tear. Our bed was fine, though pillows were quite soft. It served its purpose which was one night and that was enough. It's right by the expressway and we just stayed to crash. They do serve breakfast which appeared to be more options, but it wasn't quite tasty for me. But at least there was something. I definitely have been to nicer Hampton Inn's. read more

Nice hotel, good location, close to many good restaurants and Mizner night spots. Excellent free breakfast. There is no microwave in the room, unfortunately. The beds are OK but could be newer/firmer. There is a very nice heated pool! I could see the ocean from my room on the 10th floor. The people working at the hotel were helpful and polite. The parking situation is a bit of a hassle, especially the first time you do it. There is no valet parking. read more

This Hampton Inn is very nice, spacious rooms fit for kings, queens, and sires. We booked an early check in for 12PM and ended up actually arriving at 5:25PM. Jay, Barbara, and Cliff. Hubby and I are long haul truckers and our rig broke down so we needed a place to stay for awhile. I was pleasantly surprised to find this Hampton that took Dogs and Cats. The hotel is in a business area and there's a McDonald's, Popeyes and Wendy's within walking distance. If you Uber then there is plenty of things nearby to eat as well as sightseeing. The complimentary breakfast was good and the hotel staff was very helpful. We stayed from a Tuesday night until Saturday morning. The total was approximately 850$. There was a one time fee of 75$ for the animals. They have plenty of grass to walk the dog and a nice pool area. I would DEFINITELY stay here again and would recommend the place. It's a little outdated as far as the rooms. It was clean inside and out and the beds were very comfortable. read more

For its price category, this Hampton Inn is excellent. The customer service was phenomenal. The breakfast is free so set your quality expectations accordingly. The breakfast buffet offers several options waffles, rubbery eggs, cereal, bagels, croissants, toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, and cold cereal. Given the variety, I found something edible. The lady who was staffing the breakfast area was very nice and helpfully advised that the sausage was turkey sausage not pork. She does turkey sausage twice a week and made one of those days Thanksgiving this week. The hotel also offers free cookies at night, first-come, first-serve, while supplies last. They were ready at 7:30pm. I suffer from allergies, and my original room smelled of scented air freshener (i.e., flowery perfume). Even with allergy medication, I was having a reaction. First, we tried to spray the room with Febreeze, supplied helpfully by the front desk staff. However, the Febreeze was scented and made the smell worse. Ultimately, the manager simply switched my room. While slightly scented, the second room was better than the first. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't have a portable air purifier like some hotels, which would have helped reduce the smell even more. The hotel offers two computers for guests. These workstations are in one of the main halls directly off the lobby. This is a great spot to make sure the computers don't walk off, but isn't very quiet if you need to get work done. I was very leery when I was assigned the room directly next to the elevator as I am a light sleeper. I was very pleasantly surprised that the elevator wall has enough sound proofing that I could not hear it in my room. I couldn't hear mechanics, the elevator ding, or the guests. This location has been here for many years. It is situated in a small corporate park right off I-95 and Hillsboro Blvd. Very convenient to the beach, shopping, restaurants and two airports. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff are very nice. Breakfast was similar to other Hampton Inns. The complementary fresh baked cookies around 5-6 pm are excellent . They even serve milk. The beds were comfortable and everything was in good working order. Plenty if parking is available. The pool area is nice to relax for a bit. read more

We needed a place to stay for just one night and this was fairly close to my daughter's home. She needs a guest room! We were there for 12 hours max. Arrived past 10PM and checked out around 10AM. The hotel is older and in need of renovations, but it met our needs for the night. It's located right off I-95 but is tucked in between buildings, so it was quiet. The room was clean but it definitely needs some attention. The furniture was all scratched up, carpet felt a bit dingy, and there were some loose fixtures(i.e. door handle in bath) Our a/c cooled well and was not very noisy. The bed was a bit hard for for my taste, but the pillows were nice. We checked in on the app and used the digital key, so we didn't interact with the front desk. However, I did call before check in and the lady on the phone was polite and very helpful. Breakfast is basic. They do have DIY waffles which we waited quite a bit for since someone stood there and made at least 20. Not kidding. Not the fault of the hotel at all. Now, they were running low on items, no napkins, etc. I thought that they did not have an attendant. Then I realized that a lady that had been sitting at a table with two others was actually the attendant. Only after I saw her walk into the back area. I thought she was a guest, since she was sitting there the entire time. The hotel served its purpose. A place to sleep, close to my kid, and near the highway. Once they renovate, I'm sure it will be much better. read more

I found three on my sandals and the place smells musky and like it's been through some kind of flood very gross! The Hampton Inn itself is nothing remarkable, pretty standard Hampton Inn, clean, but maybe a bit on the old side with some dark wood, warm colors, and mostly AC outlets instead of USB plugins at the bedside. There are a few perks: free cookies, a coffee station all day, breakfast in the morning, but what really sets this place a part is the staff. We recently stayed here while planning a celebration of life nearby and had to sort through items that had recently been damaged by a fire. We tried to keep to ourselves or keep the mess to an absolute minimum, but we did sort through some old family albums and a suitcase full of heirlooms and jewelry, taking up some space in the dining areas and lobby for a place to sort and clean. I was fearful that the staff would be annoyed with us or ask us to leave, but they were so gracious, and helpful at every turn. Whenever we needed something, a trash bag, or a helping hand to the dumpster, they were quick to assist or tell us they would handle it so we could keep going. When you're planning a service of some kind after a tragedy, it's very easy to feel lost, but the staff at this Hampton Inn were some of the kindest people we'd ever met. Even some of the guests got involved offering to watch our belongings if we needed a bathroom break, or to find scissors or print something. I can't say a huge enough thank you to all the staff who helped us through all of the chaos and made us feel at home when we were grieving. This was the first time staying at this particular Hampton Inn. We always stay at the Coconut Creek Hampton Inn which is new and much nicer. Unfortunately, my brother in law made the reservations at this location. When we arrived we were given a room and a key and we lugged everything up to the room. Upon entering, the room was like a meat locker and there was a huge fan in the room which looked like they were trying to dry the carpet. I called the desk and I was told that room was out of service and we had to lug our shit back to the front desk. She apologized and gave us another room. When we entered the new room the first thing I noticed was how dark the room is. The lighting is horrible and the paint was extremely dark! The carpets were disgusting! I would never walk barefoot in any hotel room and in this room my socks were black. I noticed the bathroom floor was sticky & gross!!! The beds are old and in need of new mattresses. I think this hotel needs a makeover. They offer a breakfast which we never eat, I prefer to get breakfast out. They also have a pool which looked nice but we didn't use it. The hotel is off Hillsborough Blvd but if you don't know it's there you may miss it. It's set back in a corporate area off the road. In the dark it's easy to miss it. There is a huge parking lot with plenty of parking! You know how sometimes when you get back to your hotel late and it's hard to park?? I can't see that being a problem here. I don't feel that this hotel was worth the money and probably won't ever stay here again! read more

Just there for 36 hrs or so but so many issues. Problems with the water. The wifi. The thermostat. Staff very amateurish- not professional in demeanor. Never met GM and when I called on Monday after I left was told I couldn't speak to that person or leave a voicemail. The worst part though was that no one ever answered at Front Desk, even when present ( often left unattended). One night I let it ring about 30 times - on speakerphone. then went to phone by elevator. Finally went downstairs and the guy at desk ( name was ZZay, both nights) just sitting there . Gave no explanation of why he did not answer the phone/ Apathetic, couldnt have cared less. They tout their renovated rooms but the staff is just not great. So I;m assuming management is not that great. read more

The worst customer service, The agent on the front desk, called Genice Cisnow, was full of attitude and very disrespectfull, it took forever to check me in, she saw i was not happy with the situation, and told me I'm more then welcome to leave the hotel.. her manage had to come finish up her job, Genice was a conpletly mess, she kept trying argue with me. The hotel price was okay just because I am a local and it was booked last minute. The hotel is a little outdated. The pool is small but decent (it has a lot of outside seating area ). Breakfast was served cold in a box I guess due to COVID-19 ( one tiny bagel, cream cheese, one hard boiled egg and one yogurt along with juice from juice machine). Parking is available on site so that's good. There's plenty of nearby restaurants to eat at and a shutter that takes you to a lot of them. The bed was confortable. However, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. Beach is located 10 min away and it's beautiful so that's a plus. If you need a relaxing place to stay a night or two it's ok but if you are trying to spend a lot of time there and hang out in the hotel I wouldn't recommend it. Basically if you can find a deal then great. But don't pay a lot of money to stay at this place. read more

We stayed here on 4/7-4/8 with my two children (ages 2 and 3 months). I found an open condom wrapper in between the nightstand and our bed. I expect to stay in a clean and tidy room when I am paying a decent amount per night. I called corporate as this is unacceptable and if my toddler grabbed it I would have been beyond pissed. I'm STILL waiting on our credit card to reflect the refund for our stay. I will not stay at this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone I know and love. read more

I think this is my third time here. My plane was like two hours delayed and I didn't get here until 2 AM. Charles was right at the front desk and saw I was weary and gave me two bottles of water. Checked me right in. I like the coffee bar and the morning breakfasts. Many places say they have free breakfasts and they're horrible. This is a great spread for all tastes. In the afternoon they put out some cheese and crackers. In the evening they have chocolate chip cookies. The pool area is nice. The rooms are clean and mine has a microwave and fridge for leftovers. Avoid this place!!! Worst experience I have ever had! The place is not clean, it hasn't been updated in a very long time. When you complain to the general about a reservation one of the front desk people messed up she doesn't apologize and tells you to speak to the front desk person that screwed your reservation up. I have caught this person in blatant lies. I have seen homeless people and what appears to be friends or family of the employees helping themselves to the breakfast. The homeless guy was filthy looking and using his dirty hands to dig into the toppings bowl and stuffing food into his backpack. There are much better choices. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay in this hotel. The staff are excellent and hospitable. The location is conveniently located to amenities and it is just a short drive to the beach. This hotel is very much worth it. The continental breakfast was yummy, their themed afternoon delights were a pleasant surprise (wine/crackers, cookies, meatballs etc). The pool was refreshing and just the right size for the kids to enjoy swimming. Our room was uber comfortable and our stay was just perfect! Shout out to the team for this Hampton Inn--specially Averi and Melissa for going above and beyond to make our stay an en-joyful and memorable one. Praise is well deserved! This hotel is adequate however for the price and the service I'm not sure I would ever return. There apparently was a mosquito in my room as in the morning I awoke with several bites. I informed the desk clerk and was told the housekeeping service was not allowed to spray for insects but I was welcome to buy my own spray to kill them. I did so and was not bitten again. It made me wonder how many other guests in that room had also been bitten. We had occasion to go across the street to the Doubletree Inn for brunch and after seeing it I would definitely have stayed there instead. This is one of the best managed Hampton Inns I've stayed at. The service is excellent, the lobby and outdoor pool area are nicely furnished and always clean. They have a 'convenience shop' wear you can purchase snacks and beverages and charge them to room (like a Hilton Garden Inn). The rooms (and lobby!) still have standard definition tube TVs, which would be one area they could stand for an upgrade in. I've stayed at this hotel on four different occasions, most recently last night. All four times, I stayed for business and rented out the meeting room. The meeting room is right off of the outdoor pool area, which has a nice patio and tables that you can use during breaks. Highly recommended as a nice place and a good value if you need to stay in the area for business or pleasure. read more

I stayed here a couple weekends recently. The hotel is in a good location, about a 10-15 drive from a large mall and a nice theater in Boca Raton. It's also a reasonable distance from Fort Lauderdale. I was surprised at the rooms sizes. During my first stay, the room was at least the size of a one bedroom apartment. I also had a good experience with the customer service. I had an opportunity to meet the GM, who is very nice. Would definitely recommend. read more

I stayed here last night. While I'm only giving 3 stars, this is one of the best Hampton Inn I've stayed at. I'm on the road a lot and stay in many Hampton's and Hilton Gardens. Other than a Hampton in that I stayed at in Charleston, SC, this is the best. It has the usual breakfast but a very nice pool area and the new hotel smell. It's a little tucked away just off The south side of Hillsboro Blvd. and can only be accessed coming down Hillsboro heading east. Not a good experience. At 1pm on Saturday afternoon Feb 14, the Latina desk clerk seemed furious with her guests, and told me to "be patient" when I hadn't said anything to her. Her rudeness was amazing. Even one of the housekeepers said she is a troublemaker. The hotel is also old, cramped, AC is loud, and the property is unclean compared to every other Hampton Inn I've stayed it. This seems more like a Days Inn, at best. read more

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Boca Raton / Deerfield Beach a couple weeks ago. I came down to Boca because my grandfather had just been moved into hospice and I wanted to say goodbye. I flew down with my mother and because we didn't have any notice before hopping on the plane, we had not made hotel reservations in advance. At about 12:30 in the morning we left the hospice. I'm driving while my mother calls around to see which hotels have vacancies. She got a quote from the hotel over the phone for a certain price (less than a hundred dollars). I didn't want to fumble around to get my credit card out while I was driving, so my mom told the person on the phone that we would book when we got to the hotel. When we got to the hotel the front guest clerk / night manager was horsing around with a couple of his friends in the lobby. When we walked in he got a little embarrassed as he walked back around the desk. I told him I wanted a room and he quoted me a rate that was substantially higher (over a hundred dollars) than the one we'd received over the phone ten minutes earlier. I asked him why we had gotten a higher rate over the phone and he became very aggressive. He glared into my eyes, hunched forward over the desk, and said, "I don't know anything about that, do you want the room or not?" Honestly, at that point I was afraid to tell him no and I can only imagine how my mom would have felt if she had been there alone. He threw our keys across the desk at us and when we got up to the room I made sure to latch the safety bolt. I was going to speak to someone about the situation in the morning, but when we left there were no hotel employees anywhere to be found. I stood at the front desk waiting and no one ever came. It seems like they frequently leave the front desk unattended because they had a box with a crude handwritten sign telling you to drop your room keys in as you checked out. So, if you are looking for hotel employees that are either downright physically threatening or completely unavailable, I suggest this hotel. Otherwise, pay a little more and stay at a hotel where you're not afraid for your personal safety. I definitely would not stay here if I was a woman travelling alone. read more

Despite a rocky start with my room, Brittany at the front desk quickly worked some magic, and ensured my stay was comfortable and relaxing. She genuinely cares about providing an optimal guest experience, and impressed me with her customer and staff interactions in this fully booked, busy hotel. The bed, linens, and pillows were perfect, and I slept great. The sweet lady working during breakfast has the warmest, loveliest smile, and went out of her way to assist me. I'm so happy we chose the Hampton Inn. I'm grateful that Tetiana, at the reception area, made our early arrival and check-in an easy and a smooth experience. She was extremely pleasant. Tetiana made us feel welcomed and ensured that we have everything that we needed throughout our stay. Thank you ! The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Hotel location is close to the beach and many shopping centers and restaurants. They also have a happy hour from 5-7 with some light snacks if you want that little snack before dinner. My fiance loved the homemade cookies too! I am only complaining about wifi because I am 2,000 miles away from my family and there is no worse feeling than not being able to give them a goodnight wish .
