Now, Terry's allows feeding, petting and close up photography of their bison. The resort is a ranch and not the Four Seasons, so let's dial down our expectations and recognize the workings of the ranch. There will be dirt, poop, feathers, hair, urine, and unkempt struck and other things gentle folk may find unsavory. We found the ranch charming. We have experienced many close encounters with wild bison and most were less than rewarding, but exciting. Terry removes this. The train creaks, and groans into the herd. Windows open, and your bison friend pop up for food. You can touch them and enjoy close photos/videos. Kids will love this and animal lovers also. Your trip back the platform will provide some ranch insights and views of horse stables. That was our visit. You may also trail ride on horseback and even participate in dude ranching. We feel the ranch offered all it advertised and we will return with the little ones. Keep up the good work Terry and all the support it.

There are a lot of spots to tent or pull in your camper or trailer. The rangers were friendly but recommend a reservation in the busy months. We went in September and had no problem getting a spot. There are hook ups and dome nice bathrooms if needed.

There were basketball courts which were being taken full advantage of. There is lots of green space and water. I saw multiple sculptures and children playing on the playground equipment. It's obviously a popular spot for walking, jogging and biking as well. They have an artists area with some play equipment and they have some of the infamous boots in this park as well. When the confirmation came thru, it showed we reserved a back in site. Called back and was told all sites here are back ins and was offered a refund. We decided to take it anyway and were able to pull thru empty site behind us. Campground is pretty basic with some long term campers but has spacious sites with full hookups. It was a good value for the price, convenient, and relatively quiet considering it sits between I-80 and RR tracks. Bathrooms were clean and secure. Met some friendly travelers here too. Would stay here again if passing thru the area.

I had been to this park many, many moons ago. It was nice but since then - WOW!…read more All "neighborhoods" are well maintained and clean. The bathrooms sparkle despite being poop pits. They are cleaned many times a day. We found people are respectful and keep their dogs under control. They also have lockers at each site to put food in. There is a nice loop trail with an option to go a little further. If you do the short loop, be careful you don't miss the hard turn about 100 degrees to the left to head back to camp at the wooden sign on the trail. Enjoy!

We have been going to Mountain Park for 25 years. The new Company managing the Park is the worst…read morethe Park has ever seen. We never saw a bathroom or showers cleaned in the 6 days we were there. Out of order showers, the ones that did work offered only cold water. The former Management Company was great. These new camp hosts never even raked or cleaned a site the entire time. It is shameful that this Company was awarded this contract. Pay no attention to reviews before this year, it used to be managed amazingly but in 2025 they awarded the job to a Company that does nothing.

Also, it's important to note that this location is about 200yards from a major railway crossing. This equates to high-decible train horns about every 15 minutes day and night. To top that off, the neighboring community (about 100 feet from the edge of the campground sites) have some enthusiastic roosters.
