Located in the soon-to-be-famous P. Charpiot building, in West Unity Ohio (one hour west of Toledo) is Wyse Guys Pizza. Not to be confused with Wyse Guys in Montpelier, the store in West Unity also has an arcade...a damned good one at that. I like this place for several reasons: First the obvious: Wyse Guys has great food! Great pizza, great dessert pizza, and great salads. Wings? I wouldn't know. I don't get wings at pizza joints. Great decor! Check out all the all music, sports, TV, and film memorabilia that adorns the walls! Of course, there's the pinball, as well a limited number of golden age video games. (Note to owner: a multigame machine would be a great addition). The pinball tables span 4 decades and are in great shape. You can tell the owner cares. Bottom line? Do yourself a favor: The next time you feel like taking a ride in the country, head west, and stop at Wyse Guys. Five Stars! read more

Love this place! We took our kids and they wanted to return the very next day! The food was so good! We got two different flavors of pizza - meat and a chicken bbq, tried the breadsticks and cheese bread, and a Greek salad. There's a very neat pinball arcade, the kids loved it! Theres a few driving simulators, and an air hockey as well. They close at 9 pm and we probably stayed for 1.5 hours until close. read more

Subs are super good. These are grinder style and run through the pizza oven. Although toasty they aren't hard. The bread stays soft enough to stand up to reheating the next day. Great find. read more

OK, I have called this restaurant twice before and they have delivered. They are in West unity and I am halfway in Kunkle Ohio and they have made two deliveries to me in the past and now I call again for the second time and they tell me they only deliver to Montpelier so I explained to them I am halfway between West Unity and Montpelier. Fantastic pie! Found this place when we needed a bite driving the interstate across Ohio and we couldn't have been happier. Service was fine. The space is decent - lots of sports memorabilia on the walls. A top 10 all time pizza for me. Highly recommend! read more

Great local mom & pop pizza place. Stopped in on a Thursday evening to try the buffet ... disappointed to discover it isn't offered on Thursday evening. Ordered a medium, thin-crust pepperoni & mushroom ... excellent flavor, and a huge thank you to the staff for allowing it to cool down before bringing it to the table. Awesome little spot in a small town. Came here for work and was recommended this place and it lived up to the hype! Old school on the inside with a lot of old sports illustrated issues framed and hung up. Cool arcade game that I didn't get a chance to play but had donkey kong and super Mario brothers on it. We have enjoyed purchasing Wyse Guys pizza, subs, and wings since we moved into West Unity in 2016. We have never had a problem. Last weekend we ordered a couple subs and a pound of wings. I called and made the order with no issue - odd that we weren't given the final price, but perhaps the person was just busy. We picked up the order and it was nearly $10 more expensive than the Facebook menu listed, odd. We got home and there were no dipping sauces for the wings, odd. I called and asked about the large price difference after looking at our receipt and seeing it didn't appear there was any mistakes (example: medium sub other on the receipt was $9.50, menu lists as $8.50) and was told that prices increased recently. I asked why the menu hadn't been updated online and if we could come pick up a new one... they said that they weren't sure when they'd have new menus in or when FB would be updated. I asked about why they didn't mention the price increase on the phone or give a total, she didn't have an answer. I asked about the dipping sauce, she said you have to specifically ask for it now. We were pretty disappointed by the lack-luster conversation, the price increase with a total not being mentioned, and the dipping sauce not even being asked, "Would you like a dipping sauce with that?" But, we weren't going to make a big deal out of it... we've had good service and good food before, maybe it was a busy night. When we called tonight to make an order, we had to ask when it would be ready... and when we tried to thank the person they hung up on us... while this is only two situations they were back to back and the menu still hasn't been updated. We will be going elsewhere in the future. read more
