I try to give all businesses the benefit of the doubt, however after buying a vehicle and buying the bumper to bumper lifetime warranty, we were patronized and misinformed every time we brought our vehicle into the service shop. The lady that texts information, texted like she knew what was going on with the vehicle when she didn't. We brought the vehicle in several times explaining the situation to the service department and have to pay $200 every time we bring it in, mind you costs for repairs would be substantially higher into the 1000s. One of our first repairs was the rack and pinion impacting the steering column, they charged us and when we got it back the vehicle was shaking and making clunking noises, so we brought it back, and they said a U-bolt was forgot to be put on and fastening it was not done. This was very dangerous for us to trust to bring it back for anything else as we drive quite a bit in this vehicle as it is our family vehicle. The latest starts in the spring time (April) when our dual heating and cooling was not working correctly, regardless of what we told the service department, they went and replaced several other sensors, heater core, it was a mess and the problem still persisted after several times bringing it in and paying the deductible. One time they said it was finished, had us pay and sent us off with parts and tools still in the back seat as if they weren't put in, the middle console was extremely loose flopping everywhere. So, we finally contacted the owner and GM of Wysup and they promised better service from there on out, except the problem in the spring time was never fixed fully correctly. Fast forward to today, we just received our vehicle back for and temperature control on the passenger side and rear controls. It still does not work and in this winter, the back only blows cold air and the temperature only allows syncing so both sides have to have the same temperature. They said they recalibrated everything and took several drive tests to warm the vehicle and test it and that it was functioning correctly. Now, this is a luxury vehicle and we paid for it and the warranty to have it function properly. My wife and I did a simple research of the problem and was able to give them specifics of what we found that needed to be fixed. They did not listen to anything we said and come to find out after replacing several other things, the actuator door or mechanism for how the actuator door is processed to correctly distribute the set temperatures for each seat was not fixed. Their communication used too many words, explaining themselves over and over, when we saw them as excuses and condescending as if we didn't know how our own vehicle should run. It was unfortunate and we will never do service with them again or buy a vehicle there. read more

My mechanic told me to bring it WSYUP after he did diagnosis test and the code presented need dealer service. I did as requested and once work started they called to say the part was defective then later called and said the car was ready. I picked up the car and drove maybe 10 miles and it locked backup. Brought it back and several people assured me there would be no charge. Well I was charged over a $100 to get my car back. When I requested to speak to the manager of course he wasn't in and then they gave me the wrong manager card. After finally talking to the manager and he told if he gave me back the money he would have to dock the employee for telling me that, I said ok but of course I never got my money back and he won't call back. As I have been living in the area for a while, I have had a couple interactions with the Wysup team in the past which have always been positive. When I had engine problems with my old pickup, I didn't hesitate to give them a call for an inspection. I was trying to get a Jeep Grand Cherokee since last August, so I could tow a 5000 pound Lance 2375 travel trailer, without getting a pickup. I'm not a truck guy and the Jeep Grand Cherokee seemed to fit the bill - if I could get the Eco Diesel option - I did not want a V8 gas engine due to the fuel efficiency and even less so when towing. From my research on the web, it didn't appear that a Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel would be available anytime soon or even as late as until 2020 - if ever - so I settled on a 2018 Grand Cherokee Sterling V6 gas engine from Wysup - but would have had to settle for a smaller Lance Travel Trailer - not bad, but a bummer anyway. The Sterling was just stunning - loved it! I drove from Richland, WA, to Pullman, WA, (143 miles) because of Jennifer Hawk, Wysup Car Sales Superstar Extraordinaire, who was absolutely fabulous to work with. Jennifer is exceptional at customer service and spent a lot of time with me answering questions, working through a gazillion options, and never putting pressure on me for a sale. Michael Wysup is very lucky to have Jennifer on her team! 3 weeks after I bought my V6 gas Jeep Grand Cherokee in March 2018, I checked the Jeep website and saw that the EcoDiesel was now being offered - go figure - "the best laid plans of mice and men" - etc. I spoke with Michael Wysup (the owner) to see what we could work out, and Michael was amazingly fair and generous regarding the trade-in value on my new but slightly used Jeep. I placed my order for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Eco Diesel that same day, and then placed the order for the Lance 2375. I picked up the new diesel Grand Cherokee on 6/27 and was ecstatic as I got 30.9 mpg driving back from Pullman tp Richland, WA. All I can say is, "Thank You Michael and Jennifer!!!!" Very poor customer service in the Service Department. I brought my 2004 PT Cruiser in for the 90,000 mile maintenance service. Which was a major service including replacing the timing belt. Took four days. Picked up my car Saturday morning and cruise control not functioning. Tried to open hood but hood latch was dried out. Finally got hood opened and discovered Cruise Control not plugged in. Also noticed that my front grill was poking out on one side. The bracket was broken on the left side. Called Wysup on Monday 8/22/22. Asked to speak to the foreman; he was not in and told all the problems to Jay. Jay said he would have the foreman call me back. Tuesday 8/23/22 get a call back from Tayor, He said I could come in and get a copy of my Multi Point Inspection - they don't lube the body of the car unless I specifically ask for it. Which include locks all body pivot points including seat tracks, doors, liftgate and hood hinges. They claimed they lubed my car. Our DEF pump went out while traveling to Pullman. We made it to Wysup, the closest Ram dealership. We needed a part, but it was a Saturday and the parts department was closed. Well, Taylor Wysup was working in the showroom that day. Apparently, he had worked the parts department at one time and was totally willing to help us. He sold us a new pump and sent us on our way. From the empowerment he had been given by his employer to help in whatever way he could, to the friendly greeting from everyone working that day, we were impressed! And so grateful! The adventure of a broken truck continued through the following week, but without the initiative on Taylor's part, we would have been really stuck and would have lost our vacation. I got tires from this dealership for my car this time. They gave me a better deal than Les Shwab for the same quality. Besides, tires that they gave me were rated for my vehicle. I am more than happy with the whole experience and with the service department in particular. I did shop around and got a few quotes, but this place was the winner. They sold me a car that has a couple issues and said they would help but instead were incredibly rude and disrespectful. I hadn't even drove the car for a month, these issues showed up within days of leaving. Their "help" was $1300 and told me if I wasn't okay with that then they would give me another offer, and they did not. They completely ignored me. Turns out the issue was fixable in minutes by someone who actually knows what they were doing and even they were shocked at how much these people tried to charge for this when they sold it to me with the issues. My wife and I have bought and leased many vehicles in our time and Wysup was one of the top 3 best purchasing experiences we have had. Jennifer Hawk is an absolute Star to deal with. We live in Tri Cities, WA and I was in search of a new truck. I was connected with Wysup through Truecar.com. Jennifer and I did the entire transaction via email and text due to my schedule and I believe in having everything in writing so it keeps everything completely transparent for everyone. We went back and forth for almost 10 days. Jennifer was so patient and pleasant and not once did I feel pressured in anyway. We came to an agreement on the new 18 Ram truck that I wanted. We even had to order it in and Jennifer and the whole team at Wysup did a great job of handling it all. We then came to a fair price on my trade and agreed to all on both sides. She always had everything in writing and was so honest with me which is refreshing in the car business. We drove the 150 miles to get our new truck today (May 2018) and finally met face to face with Jennifer, and she is just as nice in person as she was via email. We also met Amber in finance to pay for our truck via check and she was very pleasant as well. Folks, all I can say is you don't meet a dealership any more who go to bat for you and try and get you as many rebates and discounts as they can by being truly transparent. Kudos to Wysup for doing a great job. They now have a new customer that will gladly drive 300 miles round trip to buy our future vehicles. Can't say I've ever left a bad review for a business before, but after my experience with the Wysup service department, I'm hoping this may save someone else the time and trouble. I just recently moved to the area for my job, so I needed a new shop to service my '07 Dodge Cummins. I rely on this truck as daily transportation to work and for regular ranch work, so regular maintenance is crucial. My first visit was for a multi-point inspection to source a slight oil leak. After the inspection, I was given a quote including the replacement part number and shop time. The part was not in stock, so I scheduled an appointment a week later to have the repair done. I brought my truck in for the repair on my appointment day. After a (2) hour wait, I was informed that they didn't have the part in stock for the repair I asked if it was a different part, but they assured me it was the same part that was listed on the quote. Things happen, but this was very frustrating, as I live an hour from town. Not wanting to lose any more time, I scheduled a later appointment with a different shop to replace the part. They ordered in the part number listed on my quote, from a different dealership. After (2) hours into the repair, it turned out that the part quoted by Wysup was the wrong part for my truck - and the correct part is $300 more. Wysup has now wasted my time, my new mechanics time, and my truck isn't fixed. Thankfully, this was a maintenance repair for a filter change, and not an emergency - but your mechanic should provide the same service in either situation. I wouldn't recommend. read more

Seriously the most amazing car dealership I have ever worked with. I personally have bought my cars from them for over 15 years and now my family and friends as well. If I hear someone say they are looking at a car and it's not at Wysup's, I'll tell them not to buy it until they go talk with Michael. He has never let me down. This past week is another perfect example of that. I saw Michael and (Jennifer Hawk my sell rep)at a meet and told them that my parents were looking for a car as well as my brother with special circumstances. Used car buyers beware: our experience at Wysup is one of consumer nightmares. We purchased a used 2012 Dodge Journey from Wysup Chrysler in Pullman, Washington, on February 4, 2017. My 2012 Dodge Journey has been plagued with problems (cruise control not working, seat heaters not working, etc.) since I drove it off of Wysup Chrysler's lot. The most pressing issue relates to a heater core and our airbag. The heater went out a month after buying in the dead of winter. I called Wysup and they installed the heater core at no charge to me since it went out so quickly after our purchase. On September 26, 2017, my husband was driving our Dodge Journey when he started screaming about his foot. He thought he was being bitten by bees or wasps. He immediately pulled over the car and discovered that boiling hot water and what we later were told was antifreeze was spilling on his foot while he was driving the car. We are thankful that we did not end up in an accident due to this. We immediately took the car to LaFontaine in Lansing, Michigan, as we had just moved to Michigan. My husband had to carefully tap the gas all the way there to avoid having boiling liquid pour on his foot in large quantities once again. At LaFontaine, we were told that Wysup Chrysler did not install the heater core correctly, causing it to leak on the driver's side. LaFontaine installed the heater core at no cost to us, though we had to pay $35 a day to cover the cost of a rental car since we were left without a vehicle. Over a month ago my airbag sensor light went on in my car. I took it in to be serviced on October 27, 2018 at LaFontaine, and was told that the wiring connecting the airbag sensor to the airbag has corroded, meaning that the airbag will no longer deploy if I am in an accident. I was told that this wiring is underneath the driver's side mat, exactly where boiling hot water and antifreeze spilled onto my husband's foot and the driver's side last fall. I was told this will cost $1500 to fix. I opened a case with Dodge, which was denied this week. I only received a response after calling Dodge Customer Service all week long, but I was not told why it was denied. I have yet to talk to anyone who can explain why this problem exists or how common it is in Dodge Journeys. I spoke to Champion Dodge in Lansing, Michigan, and they told me that they have never seen corroded wiring for an airbag sensor in a Dodge Journey. I spoke with the manager of Wysup Chrysler and they are unwilling to assist us in any way. I have not had a loaner or rental car since October 27th, which has been a significant hardship on my family. As of this past Saturday we will have not had a family car for an entire month. This has been an extreme hardship on us. I have already contacted Dodge corporate and they have not helped me resolve this issue. We have filed formal complaints with the BBB and Attorney General's Office of Washingon state. Let's hope it gets resolved so that I can drive a car again. Amazing dealership...can't do enough for customers...one of the best car buying experiences ever!!!

I am not one to normally complain but after the nightmarish experience I had, I felt the need. A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I decided it was time for her to get a newer rig. After searching the valley and surrounding area we found the perfect vehicle to suit her needs on the Wysup website. She called the bank and got pre-approved for a loan and we were off to test the car and negotiate. We were greeted by Rod, on the import lot. We told him we checked out the car online and were interested in a test drive. Rod snapped a picture of her license and we went for a test drive. We got back to the lot and I asked to "talk shop." This is where the crappy experience begins. We get to the main lot and a warning light comes on the dash of the new rig indicating the daytime running lights are out. I also noticed the front tires were significantly more worn than the back tires. We ask Rod about these concerns and he calls over the guy smoking a cigarette in the corner to check it out. We get to Rod's cubicle and he hands us a packet of paperwork to fill out while he gets an estimate on the trade. He gets back and starts talking about how it may be rough to get us financed tonight as it's 4:30 and most banks close at 5. We told him we were preapproved and just had to iron out the details with the bank, but before we do, I'd like to negotiate the rig a bit. He said they were fairly firm, plus he has to add in replacing the headlights and front tires on the new rig. We negotiated a bit off the price and called the bank to iron out details. As we do the lot lights come on, I know this because Rod felt the need to point out this is the first time in a few years he has been there long enough to see the lot lights come on. We ended up being $1000 off from what the bank would finance on that rig and Rod can't be found so we deal with the sales manager Greg, who decides to give an extra $500 trade and take 2 payments for a down. We are stoked, sign all the needed paperwork they tell us to come back up on Saturday to fix the lights as they had to order the parts. On the ride home, we notice there are a few features Wysup advertised that the rig does not have, such as heated seats. As we are noticing this Rod flys by us in his pick-up doing 80 on 195 and honks. I Did some research and figured out the missing features make the rig worth about $2000 less than what we paid. We knew we were going back up on Saturday so we made a list of the things we wanted to address. We go Up to Pullman on that Saturday, Rod and a few other employees are there. We tell him we have a list of things we would like addressed. His response is that he can't help us with that and all the service managers are at the game but he will take the post-dated checks for the 2 payments for the down. Then my girlfriend and I just sat in the waiting room as they replaced the lights. We were then told they had to order another part that wouldn't be there until Tuesday. My girlfriend and I decided we would just head back up the following Friday as then we could also talk to the service manager. My girlfriend sent an e-mail to the owner talking about the dealings with Rod and the concerns with the rig. We then went to the lot that Friday and talked with the service Manager, Greg. He told us that he would make it right with the missing features on the rig but had to discuss things with his boss first. We were also informed that Rod was no longer employed with Wysup as well. We felt great, problems were finally addressed and we could all move on. Greg Then called my girlfriend this past Friday to inform here they would install the heated seats in the rig, however, we would have to pay for the labor. When my girlfriend told him she just bought a car from him and didn't have the money to shell out labor for something that was promised he went full un-professional mode and tells her he gave her an extra $500 on a trade that was not worth what he gave us and that's the only solid he owes us, we can take it or leave it. Upon talking to two other people who have bought used rigs from Wysup this seems to be a common theme, Wysup will promise things then not deliver. One person bought a Jeep with an alarm that turned out to not have an alarm. Another person bought a used Jeep with remote start that turned out not to have a remote start. I have printouts of the ads that show all the features advertised for the rig as well as the blue book values for the differences. I would not suggest anyone buy from Wysup in Pullman. We gave them every chance to address the issues and make things right, they decided to be friends until the checks cleared then we were S.O.L. Bottom line, I would not suggest anyone go to Wysup. You will get a better deal than most any place in this valley, but you will be conned and cast aside as soon as the check clears. read more

I purchased a new Ram truck from Wysup 18-months ago and wrote a 5-star review about my great buying experience. So I wanted to let everyone know about the fantastic service I have received after the sale. I have had all scheduled maintenance done at Wysup and the service department has been great. Recently I needed a new pair of windshield wiper blades and because the premium blades that came installed from the factory lasted so long, I decided visit Wysup's parts department for a replacement pair. Luckily they had them in stock. The gentleman behind the parts counter asked if he could put them on for me, and I said sure. Talk about great service after the sale! Who does that anymore. Service department is terrible. Went in to have a new remote program. From the start I was not treated as a valued customer although I bought my truck new off the lot from this place. Guy tells me since I didn't buy the remote from them they may not be able to program the remote but I would still be charged the 50.00. About a half hour later He tells me the remote is ready but they couldn't program auto start. I said fine. He gave me the bill and it was over 60.00. I see a 6.00 charge for hazardous waste disposal. I asked what is hazardous about programming a remote? He says it's a standard charge. Would not listen or adjust. He was not customer friendly. read more

My check engine light had been on for a while, and I tried to see some people locally (who looked at me and saw dollar signs), so I was hesitant to do anything major until someone I trusted looked at it. After dealing with the service department a few times I am thoroughly fed up with Wysup. I took my vehicle in to have it inspected. When I received the report they claimed that a part my vehicle never had was not working properly and when I called them out on it they came up with a lame brained excuse. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I had them install a new part for me a few weeks later and today when I went to check the adjustment because it didn't seem to be working correctly I noticed that it wasn't even completely installed! I will be going back this week to demand a refund and I am recommending that nobody take their vehicle there. Even if you are under warranty you would be better off driving to Spokane to have work done. Terrible service and completely incompetent employees in my recent experiences. read more

Wysup is one of the best car dealers we have ever worked with in 50 + years of buying vehicles. My husband hates dealing for cars so much that he will not interact with salespeople. Wysup is the first dealership that he actually enjoys interacting with. The last 4 vehicles we have purchase we called them and told them what we wanted. Jennifer went to work and found exactly what we wanted within the day we called. Not only did we know what we wanted, we knew how much we wanted to spend and they were able to meet our price without any hassle. We made those deals over the phone with neither them or us having seen the new vehicle or the trade. We have developed a relationship of trust and respect for Wysup. We have purchased two brand new cars from Wysup in the past 5 years. In our opinion, they're service department has taken a turn for the worst. They used to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Now our interactions have been with rude and unhelpful, people. As far as what used to be knowledgeable service staff: our car has been plagued by repeated service issues. It has been in at least 4 times to fix the exact same thing!! Several times it was given back and nothing had been repaired. Then we find out that every-time we've taken it in for routine service at the mileage intervals, they've only changed the oil and gave it back (no services were performed, the tires weren't even rotated). Others I've talked to around Pullman echo the same sentiments. Even when escalating issues to managers or the owner, emails are not even responded to. Two of us in Pullman now have escalated the problems with our new vehicles to Chrysler because we couldn't get them resolved with the dealer directly. This is disappointing and a bad way to do business in a small town, especially with repeated customers. read more

I think the most amazing part of our experience was the sincerity of the folks we worked with. All genuinely nice people that cared about making sure we were taken care of like we were family. This dealership isn't just about customer service it is about taking care of people. I have never before had a pleasant experience buying a car, but these folks made it hard for us to leave. In fact they spent so much time answering our questions my husband had to go get lunch and come back. (That was after we paid for the car.) There was absolutely no pressure to do anything we were not comfortable with or buy unless we were absolutely sure we were ready and happy with the car and the deal. If Nordstrom's sold cars they would do it like Michael Wysup, with integrity, class and the highest quality customer care. I noticed a sign in one of the offices while we were there. My husband and I are new to Pullman community and happened to just stop by the dealership on a Saturday. Within minutes a happy sales guy came out to say hello. He started having a conversation with us and within the next few minutes, we were introduced to the owner. I had recently purchased a Jeep at another dealership but he offered to help us get it winter ready or whatever we needed for it since we were new to the area. I was sincerely blown away...first that the owner was working on a Saturday but also how nice, friendly and welcoming the experience was for my husband and me. Fast forward to yesterday, and I finally took my Jeep in for an oil change and checkup. One of their service guys, Taylor, followed up with me via phone twice, got me scheduled and when I arrived they were ready to go. I was in and out on time, all with such friendly service, and info/cost for my next mileage service. And...an offer to call them directly if I ever needed anything else.
