Ladies sang well. But it was more like a high school type musical or one you'd see in a small town, not a vegas show. I had been wanting to see this for many years, it was a little of a let down. Theater is also getting run down. Can but a fan for $1 scan a code for program, and drinks are very expensive. Cost over $30 for one with tip. Tiny and I mean tiny bag of popcorn $9. I know it's vegas and usually can expect higher prices, but the drink wasn't even that good. Tables set up with three chairs facing each other is hard to turn around to see. One of the ladies working there went by and pushed the chairs in very hard and smashed my leg. There is no room to move the chair to face the stage. Better getting a seat ant a round table. The ladies who do this show are pros! They are so talented, funny and entertaining! Viti Corimbi, Lori Legacy, Lisa Mack and Susan Jordan De Leon are all STARS! I have now seen every show in Vegas and this is definitely up there! This is a super cute musical show located upstairs inside Harrah's casino. I've been 4 times so far over the years. A friend was in town & looking for something cheap to do so I checked out my Houseseats & found this show so I booked us for a Monday night. My tickets were delivered via my mobile device which was good because the box officer upstairs wasn't opened. It had been so long I couldn't remember if they had a bar inside, outside or if you could bring your own drinks inside. Once I got up there I remembered they have cocktail waitress inside the showroom. There is a sign that tells you that you can't bring any food or drinks inside. No one was checking bags/purses upon arrival. Showroom wasn't very full, apx 1/2 of it. It took some time to get the attention of a cocktail waitress to order myself a drink. I had to flag her down. I went with the 22oz Tito's & soda water. Tito's isn't on the menu but I happened to ask if they had it & they did. I specifically said "with lemon" & they gave me limes. I said something so the waitress went & got me some lemons. She told me that the 22oz drink had 3 shots of vodka in it. It wasn't bad but I really wanted to order another one but she never came back around which surprises me, like you don't want to make any money??? AKA tips....so no 5 stars for the cocktail waitress. Room was slightly cool so make sure to bring something light if your wearing shorts, dress, skirt and/or short sleeve shirt if coldness bothers you. Seats weren't to bad. We got bench seating with a small round table in front of us. Sound is good. I don't want to give away the show but it's definitely cute with great actresses!!!! Some of them have been in the show for a very long time. There are always way more women in here then men but I have seen men in here. What a fun show!! I really enjoyed the entertainment. The tables and chairs were a little awkward. I'd rather have round ones, instead of the rectangle. It was difficult to really turn your chair and still see around the person sitting next to you. The service really sucked. I think there was only one waitress for the 250+ people there. She didn't get to us until 50 minutes after the show started. But, the show and actors were great. read more

The small Cabaret theater inside Harrah's is such a good venue for this musical. The stage was large enough for the four performers to strut their stuff, and have the props literally roll in and roll out. There are no bad seats at this theater, and we appreciate that we could order libations while enjoying the show. The first time i watched this show was with hubby who was among the few men in the audience. He only came because I have tickets for two. During the show, he and the men probably laughed the loudest, and perhaps learned a few things about what women go through during this period of "Change, change change!" I went for a second time with a girl friend, and it was just as much fun the second time around. We laughed so hard that that it felt we were busting a gut. It was non-stop fun. Wish we could have taken pictures inside, but we weren't allowed to take pictures or videos. No matter -- there are enough online that one can get an idea of what to expect. But the show exceeds expectation --- it is simply one of the funniest plays we've ever seen. Who knew one can make a successful musical out of this topic? But they did, and it's hilarious. It was funny to hear favorite songs and melodies transformed to conform to the subject. For example, who can't help but laugh when one of them belts the song "Only You" referring to a handheld vibrator? One word: HILARIOUS! read more

OMG! This show was fantastic! The musical choices and singers were great. The comedy was witty and laugh out loud funny. The theater is really intimate and we were right in front of the stage. The audience was pretty diverse and there were lots of folks who I think are too young to have experienced the "change" but they were all laughing. I bet they saw family members in the four lead characters. I highly recommend seeing this if you are in Vegas. It was a high point of our trip. read more

My out of town friends had some comped tickets for the show and called to see if I wanted to join them. I had seen the show ten years ago with my wife and I was bored and thought it was silly although I could appreciate how it applied to women and spoke to them. At first, I said I wouldn't go, but then I thought, "Why not?" We met for dinner at Harrah's where they were staying before moving to Green Valley Ranch, and after dinner, we had over 1/2 hour to be at the show. I noticed that Cindy Williams from Laverne and Shirley was part of the cast. This time, I watched the show with a different mind set. I wasn't expecting anything earth shattering story wise and I just enjoyed the vocal talents of the five women in the show. The story takes place in a department store and the women, individually or in groups, share their menopause stories. This cast is quite talented. There's not a whole lot of acting but the vocals are the important part for the show. The showroom is on the second floor at Harrah's. Our seats were against the wall and they became quite uncomfortable halfway through the show. I wanted to stretch my legs in some manner but there was nowhere to move them. Got comped a couple tickets so I thought why not? The venue is small and intimate so there is really not a bad seat in the house. However, they pack you in pretty tight, especially up front. I was seated about 3 rows back off to the side. The chairs are small and uncomfortable and placed near very small tables. This is old school Las Vegas seating and I really don't care for it much any more. I prefer the new theater seating that are comfortable.. like the seating they had for Jersey Boys at Paris, the Coliseum at Caesars, or for Baz at the Venetian. I felt like I was sitting on my neighbors lap, so I moved my chair and table to see better. The musical is fun and the 4 ladies in the show sing about hot flashes and sleepless nights using familiar songs that are upbeat. It's funny and good for a few laughs, but then gets a bit redundant. There were definitely more women than men in the audience and I can see why. My boyfriend ended up walking out 1/2 through the show. My suggestion is to leave the men home and go with a group of ladies. read more

LOVED this show! It was so funny and entertaining! It was my first time going and heard nothing but wonderful things about this show and I can also vouch! I got VIP seating (yellow section) so I was right in front of the stage! I def recommend that! I loved their songs and performances! They really worked the stage well! They asked us if we were celebrating anything and we got on the stage with the ladies so it was nice! They are located inside Harrah's hotel (on the Vegas strip). I got seated almost an hour before the show started and you have the option to purchase drinks. I def recommend watching this show! Tip: I used travelzoo to purchase my VIP ticket (yellow seating). I'm 52 and know all about menopause, and I was the youngest person in the room, besides my loving husband who bless his heart, was able to keep his eyes open throughout the show!! The actresses were entertaining and talented. The seat configuration was odd and I felt like our chairs were shoved into seats in front of us. It didn't seem as funny as other folks reviewed. Great cast! I love musicals and I've seen many over the years including Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia, Lion King, and Miss Saigon are among my favorites but I've been putting off seeing this one, Menopause The Musical. It was supposed to be good, hilarious, and the parody of the songs entertaining... well, it was all of the above as my hubby and I watched it for the first time over the weekend on a Sunday showing. Saw ticket offers from $61 to $75/each but I purchased a Groupon deal for $89 for 2 people. For those women who are experiencing "change"... hot flashes, insomnia, memory loss, expanding waistlines, failing eyesight, night sweats, mood swings, well, there's nothing fun about these symptoms... until now! Clever parodies of popular songs from the 60's, 70's and the 80's kept us entertained as they made fun of aging woes. Songs included music like "Stayin' Alive" (Bee Gees), "California Girls" (Beach Boys), "I Got You, Babe" (Sonny & Cher) just to name a few. Four ladies: a professional woman, a soap star, earth mother, and an Iowa housewife took turns doing solos, dance numbers, and chorus numbers. While I had a great time my poor hubby had a difficult time understanding some of the issues and the topics. LoL! but he did enjoy the music! The cast was amusing and all were very talented and funny. I hope the soap star (one of the women on the cast) had her real hubby participate in the audience as she singled out a man in the center of the crowd and started to flirt and make sexual innuendos to him as part of her act. All in all a fun evening. There was audience participation at the end where the cast asked women to come up on stage and dance with them. They were then each given a small gift after the show. Menopause The Musical is currently playing at the Harrah's Hotel, specifically the Improv Showroom. I came to see this musical this past Friday with my husband (yea I'm one of those wives who drags her husband to everything). I wanted to see this musical because I had heard so much positive things about it. But unfortunately, I found it to be a bit boring. The musical's main premise is transitioning into menopause. Now I am quite a few years away from menopause, but based on the main symptoms highlighted (brain collapse aka memory loss, hot flashes and weight gain) that were joked and sang about throughout the show makes me dread menopause even more. The musical takes place in a department store and 4 women basically talk (and sing and joke) about their difficulties with transitioning into menopause. The story line is rather lackluster and the acting is just okay. But the voices sung by 4 talented ladies is enjoyable. But with a slow and lack of story line, I didn't really enjoy the musical as much until towards the end (starting from the lingerie scene until the end). My husband, and a few other husbands as well who got dragged to this show by their wives (glad to know I'm not the only wife who does this) seemed to be playing on their phones and/ or surfing the net (free WiFi at this hotel). One thing that really annoyed me was that during the show, the men who were controlling the sound and lighting kept talking. This was not the first time Menopause was shown at the Harrah's and in the showroom, so I don't understand why there would be talking among the men on the appropriate time to cue up the volume and spotlights. With their conversation, I missed some dialog. With this show, I don't think it is worth paying full price. Make sure to check out cheaper tickets at one of those tix 2 night booths along the strip or on line. At first I thought maybe because I have not experienced menopause myself, but figured that the show needs a bit more work to it to make it a little funnier and maybe update the song choices. By the way, at the end of the show, the actors ask women to come up to the stage to sing and link arms with them. If you go up, you will get a little pin as a souvenir. read more

What an AMAZING show!! I was able to attend the show on Saturday, 3/09/19 with my Mom and sister. We basically sat 2nd row, center stage, so we were right there for all the action! The setting is informal, very club-like. The seats were very close together with a very small table for 4 people to share. It would have been much more comfortable if the tables were larger or at least spread out a bit, so you didn't feel like you were sitting on your neighbor. The service was also a bit slower than I am used to as it took about 15 minutes for two sodas to be delivered and the venue is quite small. With that said, I found myself totally lost in the music and the hilarious lyrics! The writers are spot on and I found myself literally belly laughing for most of the show! The cast was simply perfect! Cindy Williams is featured, so it was really cool to see one of my favorite ladies from a childhood tv show in person and she looked wonderful! (Booboo Kitty Forever!! ) She came in at perfect times during the story, but I wish she had been in more of the production. The other ladies in the cast were complete divas in the most complimentary way. Their voices were beautiful, their moves were flawless, and they made me laugh and laugh!! One of the highlights was the end of the show when they invited women from the audience on stage. I was hesitant at first, but went up when encouraged by my mom and sister. I was so glad that I did! Great show, even for us guys. My wife and I really enjoyed the musical. It was 4 women with great voices singing song parodies about 'the change'. Like Weird Al in a dress. Their is not a bad seat in the house, as this is in a small cabaret. Our only complaint is we could not find any additional information on the performers as the program is via a QR code that didn't work. For the cost of a ticket and the inflated drink cost is it to much trouble to xerox of some programs? read more

What a fun show! I've seen it twice with two different casts and both were/are amazing. These ladies get on that stage 8 times a week and put on a great performance every single show. The music is memorable, fun and hilarious. The jokes are fast and furious so pay attention or you are left behind. This show isn't just for the ladies. The men in our group laughed right along with us. If you get a chance to see this one don't miss it. It is a bargain for the ticket price. My friend and I scored tickets from Groupon and saw Menopause the Musical at Harrah's last night. The majority of the audience were women of a certain age and a few couples. At 7:30 pm, we were offered the opportunity to purchase (what I will call) "church fans" for $1. The proceeds from these fans will benefit breast cancer research. Even though many of us "seasoned women" carry our own fans, it appears that many audience members supported this endeavor. The drinks were generous (you only need 1), but like many similar venues were a bit pricey. I paid $25+ tip for a gin martini and class of champagne. Now on to the musical! The singing was good (takeoffs from popular songs from the 60's and 70's) dealing with night sweets and other signs of menopause. The dances were entertaining. Even though Cindy Williams was billed as the a feature performer ( and she was good) the star and person leading the most songs was Lisa Mack (the professional woman) She seemed to really enjoy her part snd really made the show worth 4 stars. read more

You don't have to have this actual condition, or be of an age close to it to get it. (you could call this PMS the Muscial for those of us who have to go through that! :D Just about as similar!) Menopause - all the signs and symptoms and then some in a musical satire! Don't worry about the seating - every seat is good, because you are in a cozy theatre so you don't miss out on anything! And some performances are always better in the smaller theatre. I got discounted tickets for my uncle and his niece a while back. And per his words, this show was HYSTERICAL (this is the kind of guy that will typically shrug his shoulders and just go with the flow, and not really say much - so if HE'S saying he was cracking up and says it's hysterical, yeah I'll buy it). Soooo some more discounted tickies later for us, parents, cousin, and her fiance when they were in town a few months back - none of us were disappointed. My dad was laughing so much he had to wipe his eyes several times. My cousin, was doubled over laughing. Her fiance was doing everything he could to hold it in, but just lost it at the end. And of course hubby and I were definitely finding moments we could just laugh over and think of individuals in our respective families that fit the profiles! There is audience involvement and interaction! So don't just expect to sit and watch. You juuuust might get a sneak attack! I don't want to ruin the show for everyone - but you have 4 ladies all hitting their stages from VERY different backgrounds, in the same location. So that's all I shall say. Go enjoy! We saw this at Harrah's . The parking there is HIRRIBLE!!! Fourth time seeing this- Very good/ A MUST SEE!!! It's funny yet true to life . No matter where you sit you will have a good view. I don't think you need to be a woman (or more particularly, a woman going through menopause) to enjoy this show. I think that people of all genders and ages can laugh at the cheesiness of this show. There were a few men in the audience (my dad included, who was lucky enough to get a hug and a cheek kiss from Cindy Williams). Cindy Williams is billed as a top performer in this show, but she was barely in it! She had about 2 (quick) quips, and then was out of the picture! Kind of disappointing. Shirley! Shirley! The performers are excellent with their singing and dancing. They are very talented and keep you engaged and laughing the entire time. The play is set in different areas of a department store, and each woman (the new age hippie, the cougar actress, the stay at home mother, and the business woman) tells their story about the "change" in a different way. This is a celebration of women, hear us roar! But as I said before, you don't need to be a woman in order to enjoy this experience. It's a small venue, so there really are no bad seats. We were a bit off to the side, but were still able to take it all in and laugh our you-know-whats off! Overall a good time. Not in my 40's but this show is pretty funny! Wonderful singing from the four actresses and they even made sure the audience was engaged by coming out in the show to sing. Always a nice touch! The theater is very small and the seats are such that there is only one-way in and one-way out. Definitely use the restroom before the show begins as there isn't one in the theater and you will have to go back into the Luxor in order to release yourself. Major inconvenice I would imagine...especially for an audience of the over-40 crowd. read more

Took my mother to see this show because she is going through the change. Thought it would level her crazy ass out a bit... it didn't...lol! I am NOT a musicals fan and unfortunately this musical did not convert me as I was hoping it would. Still, all the ladies are super talented which helped me enjoy the show better. If I could change anything it would be to make the tickets more affordable! I purchased the next tier of seating below VIP yet I was still pretty squished in, back to back chair humping others. Plus there is a table you are forced to sit at with like 5 other strangers which is uncomfortable in itself now add on being sat with a bunch of dead beats as was our situation. (sad face) The cocktail waitress coming around for drink orders during the entire show with her flash light and noticeable conversations also greatly took away from the show. This is in a small venue virtually any seat is food. The music and performers made this an enjoyable show to watch most of the men didn't get it.
