Pricing point was about the same as everyone else. My husband went in for the 60 minute deep tissue massage. He got an older woman, who I believe may not have had the strength to hit his deep tissues as he's a big guy. He said the massage was okay, but definitely would rather try other massage places. Decided to try the newly opened XH Massage since it is so close to my place. I booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Kathy, and she really knows what she's doing. She has a strong touch and clearly understands how to work through deep tension. I mentioned my neck and shoulders were tight, and she focused on those areas with just the right amount of pressure -- not rushed, and not surface-level. She found knots I didn't even know I had and worked through them patiently. One thing I loved -- during the foot massage, she included a scrub, which was such a nice surprise and made the whole experience feel even more relaxing. New massage place near my house. I stumbled upon XH Massage the other day while stopping by stater bros for dinner supplies on my way to work. There was a sign advertising massages for $39.99 at the driveway leading to the strip mall. I made a mental note and returned on my day off. When I walked in I was greeted by a lady sitting behind a table with the various massage offerings on a display. I was a little hesitant, thinking that this might be a "happy ending " type of business but decided to give them a chance and figured that if they offered those types of extras I would decline and not return. Thankfully that was not my experience. The massage therapist gave me a 1 hour full body massage. Great pressure, clean, private room, and for $60 a fair price. I'm a regular at bamboo creek in Anaheim Hills but if I'm short on time I'd consider returning to XH Massage in the future. read more

I've been here twice. The first time was one hour and it was so good. The next time I went back for 90 minutes. Mary was my masseuse and she did a wonderful professional job. For my 90 minute session, I forgot to mention how tight my shoulders were, but she picked up on that and my lower back. When I told her that my lower back was delicate... She responded appropriately. ## 02.18.2025 So, I've been to my fair share of massage locations for a couples massage and this place is horrible for many reasons. They deserve an absolute zero score. ## Does not listen to instructions. We wanted no hot stones and no scrubbing. They decided to burn us with them in the middle of our massage session. And we had to stop them and say no multiple times. And the scrubbing they used felt like sand paper. Ouch. ## Distractions The masseuses were either zoning out (focusing only on the back or buttocks) or too busy answering phone calls. They had no front desk person because that was their job too. Their phones would go off in their pockets. They'd chat to each other loudly. They would come in and out of the room to answer the front desk phone every 5 minutes. ## Untrained They were not skilled. I could have massaged better than they did. It was if they were slapping some dough to make some pastries. I felt like a piece of chicken softened to be cooked. They focused entirely on either the buttocks or the back. We verbally told them to massage the arms or the legs or the feet but those requests were quickly forgotten and ignored. We felt they were using the lazy approach to massaging: They were using their elbows only and not really their hands. Their hands were also very callused and rough, like sand paper. It was very uncomfortable, even with massage oils. Because of their lack of skill, the massage hurt a lot. They were using their elbows to rip the muscles, and not remove knots. They were messing around with the neck so much, we were afraid they'd damage our carotid arteries. ## Small room and poor equipment The room was so small that the massage table we were on were being moved around so they could answer the front desk phone when they needed to exit the room. The massage table where there was a hole you put your head into wasn't really a hole because there was stuffing inside that hole. ## Poor location The location itself is littered with cones and barricades. It looked as if the concrete area near the middle of that Plaza was severely cracked. The lack of clients should have been a telling sign for us to avoid this place. ## Issues after the massage My wife developed a lump near her neck from this torture. I developed back pain that I hope will heal soon. This actually might be a law suit if we find out our health has been affected. ## Bottom line Avoid this place. The masseuses looked like they didn't really care about giving quality work. They obviously wanted to get paid and we did tip them. But looks elsewhere for a massage that will actually help you. These guys will not only hurt you, but will take your money too. Zero Stars, a zero score and I hope they don't do business anymore. read more

Pros: Massage was nice, lasted as long as advertised and ladies were friendly! We used a good deal Groupon offered for the place my friend had bought for us. Cons: Appointment system unfortunately did not work as supposed to. It was clear they prefer to receive business anywhere or anytime they can get it, even if that means prioritizing a walk-in and having asked us to wait 30 minutes to an hour to start our appointment. Understanding they were a new business, my friend and I gave the place another shot and called to check in prior to our new appointment time and with any updates on the time of our arrival changing. Tips are customary with these kinds of services in general, but are to be given freely, not asked. Just as we barely started to leave the massage room, one of the massage therapists urged us to tip and insisted we needed to leave one. Unfortunately, this was the main turnoff for us and due to that we decided not to tip. Called ahead over an hour to make an appointment, they told me yes, sure, we'll see you at 530. 25 minutes before my appointment they text me saying that they are busy, can I change to 630? I call them and the lady just says sorry we got busy. I tell her what sense does it make to take appointments if they are not honored! She again says sorry! Place is about 1 year old. Great to find a decent, clean massage place so close to where I live. There are three ladies working there. Amy is fantastic. I knew her when she was at a different massage place. She understands English so when I said my right thigh muscle needs the most work, she got the aches out. She also got the knots out of my shoulders. I had requested 6o minute deep tissue massage and she did not disappoint. What surprise me was when she asked if I wanted Hot Stones. Of course, I said yes. Down the major street is a great massage place too but they charge extra for hot stones. Hot stones were not that hot to me and reading other reviews, I suppose they are playing it safe with just warm stones. Initially, the stones were put on top of a towel on my back. Next time I will just ask to put it directly on my skin to see how hot they were. She did use the stones later and rub them on my legs and back when they were still warm. Feeling great afterwards.
