Worst massage I have ever had and that's saying something. I take care of my body and my recovery is important to me. I get a massage once a month at least and try different places. $40 for half an hour, she didn't touch my arms or my legs. Never flipped over so she could massage my chest or thighs. The worst part is she cut my massage short by 10 minutes. At that price it's just ridiculous. I asked for a shower as most reputable massage parlors have. After indulging in some Thai food and Thai beer, we thought it best to uphold the Thai festiveness and mosey on over to the joint next door. Back then, I was a massage parlor virgin. And with all the potential myths about these places prancing around in my head, the presence of Asian ladies offering Thai massages in this shifty establishment induced both apprehension and excitement. Nevertheless, my "What the hell. Gotta try it at least once." manifesto lead me to a small room. The dim lighting coupled with soothing sounds emanating from some Brookstone audio device. The 'host' instructed me to take off my clothes, lie on the table and that my masseuse will be with me shortly. Just like with medical personnel, I don't trust people telling me to get naked unless they're already naked or getting naked too. As soon as my masseuse entered the room, she glared at my boxer briefs and commanded I take them off. She watched me remove my last barrier of dignity and then laid a towel over my bum. The apprehension fleeted as she started to caressed my back and then kneaded my shoulders. When the tensions started to dissipate, she asked me a seemingly simple question. "You want oral or jail?" "Pardon me?" Did she just ask what I thought she asked? And why is jail the second option?! "You want oral or jail?" "Say what?" While impatiently awaiting a better response, I contemplated. Is she testing me--trying to show me that that kind of perverted nonsense doesn't play well with her? This was my first time at EJ massage. They had a banner outside mentioning management change. I paid $50 for 1 hour massage. Massage was good but when I was done and I paid a $3 tip the person who did massage to me asked for at least $20 tip. I told them I paid you already $50, so why are you asking me for more tip. They mentioned that the owner of the massage parlor does not pay them and they only earn by tips. I don't know how much truth to this matter is but this makes me concern to go there again where people are not paid properly. Just in courtesy I gave the lady another $2. With $20 tip that would be $70 in massage which would be very expensive and not worth it. I have been better places and lower priced than this. New management changes are always bad news. read more

I would have given this establishment 2 stars if I were grading on decor and ambiance! Their massage however is nothing less than great. I've had massages in the fanciest hotels and the most exotic locations around the world, and yet, these local places just hit the right spots. Oh, and don't be shocked if they stand on your back on monkey bars and push really hard with killer toes. Yeah, really. Definitely not your typical massage place, as sometimes they get you in a Brazilian jiuitsu type of hold. But in the end, you leave feeling thoroughly tenderized in just the right way. read more

If you like a super deep massage, this is a great place to go. I've been here twice and both MTs were excellent. My favorite is when they walk on my back. The vibe here is positive and caring. I enjoyed talking to the MTs, too - something I don't usually do because at most Asian massage places, there is a language barrier. I went in front door was greeted and told I needed to pay upfront before massage and tip first ,she told me the tip was going to be $20.00 on a $49.00 hour massage. I told her that was too much and I would tip after she told me must tip first ok then $15.00 dollar for tip once again I said no finally I ended up paying a $10.00 tip then was told there was a $1.00 charge for using card ok then she charged $61.00. To my card not $60.00 so was mad at this point. I went into room was taking off my necklace and she asked me to take off my clothes and she would return. When she came back to room it was 10:45 she started my massage and about 5 minutes later someone came in front door she left room to see and was gone about 4 minutes and came back to continue to massage then few minutes later phone range so she left room again for a few minutes . When she came back I told her this was not right for her to keep leaving room while I was getting my massage . Then at 11:25 she told me she was going to get a hot towel she was done I said I didn't even get a hour massage this was not the way to do business . I was really upset got up and got dressed and left, leaving I forgot to get my necklace and told her I was not happy at all. Later in the day I realized I left my necklace there went back , went in and told them I left my necklace there and was told she didn't see it and it was busy when I left so didn't really clean then room after me and that the Mexican after probably told it not them . This is a very shady place I have never had to pay for a massage first and tip before a service this is no way to run a business, I think she keep my necklace because I didn't give her the $20.00 tip .
