I've always gone back-and-forth to this place and it's because I'm never loyal to one massage establishment. I usually get massages from Mimi at this place, she is always so amazing. I would definitely continue to book with her if ever I go here again. However, I was convinced to try a different girl and she was really good but a little too talkative when she was giving me a massage. Usually when I stay quiet, massage therapists know to just let me relax. But this girl was too proud of her massage techniques and her work that she wanted to share with me all about it. But I don't care about techniques, just make me feel good. I talk a lot in job, so when I go get a massage for 90 minutes there should be minimal talking. Talking should contain a few words like: is that enough pressure or does that hurt or turn over. It's not a time to show off or educate on massage techniques. I just had a massage here with Mimi. And it was probably the best deep tissue massage I've had in my life. She actually applies enough pressure to work out the knots and I appreciate that so much. It was painful at times but that's what I needed and I can already tell a difference. I loved her technique. I went here with a stiff neck, stiff body, waddling in with lots of inflammation from an injury from 10 years ago, and I literally walked out taller and with more room in my shoes that's how effective treatments were. Dr. Diana gave me a half day full body self care body reset and I'm glad I did it. I got: 1. Chiropractic adjustments. (she's strong and thorough.) 2. Full aromatic body massage with stick lotion that slides over your muscles in a very cushy cloud of sheets and knee pillows 3. Cold laser - lots of different frequencies to work on adrenal fatigue, brain fog, detox.) 4. Tesla magnet. - this was the coolest experience where your body pulsates and gravitates towards the unit, it literally felt like a reset and the reduction of inflammation was noticeable. Also the music playing had words repeating over & over my head was pounding and had to ask for music turned off. Coincidentally after I paid my debit card was mysteriously flagged for suspicious activity in Whittier 3 days later! Coming from an esthetician myself I am so mad that I just spent money here ... I went here for the first time today to try a lymphatic drainage facial. I wasn't given any greeting or instructions on if I should change or not. She showed me to my room and came back ten minutes later. I could hear whatever she was listening to on her AirPods the entire hour of my massage over the spa Music. She used a thick oil and didn't use a hot towel to wipe it off after... she just used a Neutrogena wipe. When I went to checkout and said I was going to use my card instead of Zelle she didn't like that. Then my card mysteriously declined twice and I had to use Zelle. My knees have been swollen for months due to bursitis. The doctors initially wanted to drain the fluid but the appointment was taking forever so I decided to visit Dr. Diana for an adjustment. She recommended High Energy Inductive Therapy instead. Within a week after the first session, the inflammation decreased by 90%. I was extremely tired that day, so I made sure to drink plenty of water and rest. After the second session, the swelling was completely gone. I also tried the handheld laser on my neck. I've now completed five sessions, including treatments on my hands, neck, and ankle. This therapy has become my new favorite modalities. I haven't found anything else like it. I've been receiving treatments here regularly for awhile now and honestly I adore this place. It's clean and doesn't give weird sketchy vibes, very welcoming and relaxing and professional. Check in and out are a breeze. I personally enjoy deep tissue massages regularly. And not normal deep tissue. But the kind of pressure that could probably leave a dent on concrete. It is nice to be able to speak to the providers like Julia, Tracy, or Joannie and express to them the pressure I prefer and truly feel listened to. The knots in my back HATE to see me walking into this place. I feel the tension released that's been stuck since the '08 market crash when I walk out of here. What's crazy is I don't even have to tell them where. They locate a knot and before I could even say something they are on it like a heat seeking missile. There has been a time or two I just wanted something relaxing to wind down from the week and without issue I've been provided that perfectly. Looking forward to my next appointment!!!! read more

I got a 2 hour prenatal massage. The beginning was totally fine, I had asked for her to focus on my back and pelvis. She focused on my back for a while but would randomly cross over my vertebrae... weird but okay. Then she did my legs and it was just very whatever. Then I switched sides and it felt like she got lazy or thought I went to sleep or something. Then she spent a ton of time and went very strong on my legs. Then out of no where she went back to my back and went super hard directly on my spine. It was extremely painful. I moved away but she didn't get the hint and she did it about 4 time and that was the end. She never actually worked on my gluts which is where I really needed help. And my spine, which shouldn't be massaged anyways especially not while pregnant, hurts and is extremely tender. I doubt I will ever go back and if I do it absolutely won't be with her. read more

Massage was good, but got jipped on my time. I arrived at 5:20 for a 530 appointment. Nobody was at front desk. it was supposed to be 50 minutes. Didn't take me back until 5:50 but then ended just before 6:30. she told me she had a 6:30 appointment and would make up the time next time. still charged me the full price. There's no way they would remember the next time. I don't go that all the time. I wasn't late so I don't feel that I should've been shorted my time. If I had been late, that would make sense. I made an appointment and booked my massage online. There were so many options and I wasn't sure how light or deep the pressure would be in real life despite the descriptions of the massages provided during the online booking. I ended up booking a BNS relaxation massage which is described as using light to moderate pressure. Upon arrival, there's a sign in sheet and then I was brought into a single, private room with dim lighting and rainforest nature sounds (birds chirping). The temperature was fine for me. The room is quite small though and I could hear my masseuse hitting things while moving around the room to give me my massage which didn't bother me too much. When my masseuse entered the room, she told me that she would give me some privacy to undress for the massage and lay down on the massage table, and left the room and closed the door. There are wall hooks where I hung the bra, shirt, and purse. After a few minutes, she knocked on the door and asked if I was ready for her to enter. During the massage, the pressure was insanely light where I barely felt anything. It was a lot of flat palm rubbing over different sections of my shoulder and back but the pressure was so light! I asked my masseuse, Tracy, to increase the pressure and she told me that it would be a deep tissue massage which costs $10 extra. I told her that it was fine. The deep tissue massage definitely involves deep pressure and I could really feel my knots being worked on. It felt like pop rocks going off in my shoulders near my scapulas. It involved a lot of forearm pressure and elbows to work out the knots. It was an intense but much needed and appreciated massage. However, the times where Tracy worked on my neck was too intense and too much for me. There are 4 positions that I was in for the BNS massage: face down, on the left side, on my right side, and face up. After my massage was finished, I went to the front desk to pay and asked the receptionist is there was a massage option that is in between the relaxation one and the deep tissue one and I was informed that the combo BNS massage is an intermediate one so that's probably what I will get next time since I want lighter pressure on my neck but stronger pressure on my shoulders. read more

I've had chronic back and shoulder pain for a long time due to a work injury and had seen many chiropractors without improvement. However, after being treated by Dr. Diana, my pain has decreased dramatically, and my range of motion has improved significantly. Dr. Diana has a state-of-the-art machine that helps with pain relief and muscle relaxation. My review is for Dr. Diana Lawson. Her massages are quite different from any other therapist Ive ever had. The different oils she uses are amazing. Her room is unique and love everything about it. I felt so amazing afterwards (90min). I've gone to about a dozen different therapists before and it doesn't compare. I've also received an adjustment in the past and she got rid of a pinched nerve in my shoulder blade.
