This was ok. We were immediately hit with an upgrade sell?? Everything is contained within a compound. No cameras allowed because they want to sell you their $100 photo plane. No photos just sent to your phone? You can and do take them to the cenote. Snap away. The ATV was driving in a circle on bunny dirt roads. ( least favorite) at least go in the jungle, not a dirt road. Zip lines are the shortest I've ever been on. The guide was great and was upbeat. Tequila tasting is the same everywhere ( 20 minutes with a small taste of 4 ) maybe 1 shot . total. If you've never experienced something similar, you might like it. This place was just meh. The tour itself was really fun with swimming, jumping, ziplining, and tequila lessons. But... the ride to each xenote was very bumpy and uncomfortable. We also got scammed. DO NOT BUY THE ALL-INCLUSIVE FOOD PACKAGE!!!!!!!!!! The food you get at the Xenotes is soggy nuggets, soggy fries, simple pastries, and you only have 5 mins to eat before you have to move on. At lunchtime, on the taco menu with the package, you only got 4 out of the 8 tacos, and the tacos were horrible. They were dry and had almost nothing, and almost no flavor. And the salesperson was really pushy about everything. The photos were super expensive too. Over all fun experience but horrible food. read more

Xenotes Tour was so much fun. It's different that the other two (Xcaret and Xplor) and I highly recommend this one! At the Xenotes Tour, you get to enjoy four cenotes plus different activites at each: Ziplining, Snorkeling, Rappeling, Kayaking, Inner Tubes, and Cliff Jumping. There's also a photographer that is with us throughout the whole time capturing pictures of everyone in our group. They also provided two meals, the first one was pastries and beverages (water, soda, hot chocolate, and coffee) and the last one was a full on buffet spread (salad, cheese, meats, bread, water, soda and beer). Our tour guide, Manny was amazing and he made the trip very memorable. He was very helpful with my mother in law and my little son. He guided the group from beginning to end and made the trip to all four cenotes a breeze. We all had a fantastic time and we even purchased the pictures at the end. Aside from the photographer, I recommend bringing a water case for your phone and a GoPro! We got so many amazing videos with my husband's GoPro. I cannot express how fun this excursion was and would definately do it again. Tips: Wear a swimsuit, water shoes and comfortable clothing on the bus and for after. Towels are provided. We had a blast! Went on vacation for 5 days in Puerto Morelos and we'd heard about the Cenotes tours but didn't understand what they were. We had a blast! We took 5 people all of us adults but there were many kids there. My dad went, he's 75. You can jump from rocks and zip line into these cenotes or you can easily walk down some stairs into them. Totally awesome excursion! Xenotes is run by the same company that owns Xcaret, Xplor, and Xelha. However, Xenotes is not a park but a small tour of four cenotes. Reservations are absolutely necessary! We were the only ones in our van when we were picked up at our hotel. We then rendezvoused at a central location and got on a van with about a dozen people total. Our group had a guide and a photographer. Both were knowledgeable, enthusiastic helpful, and personable. Each tour visits four different types of cenotes with different characteristics and activities. We started with a Mayan prayer at an open cenote surrounded by stone walls. Here we did cliff jumping, swimming in the green jade water, a zip line, and a slide. We then had a snack with beverages and baked goods offered. Each cenote has a covered pavilion set up where you can eat. There are also life preservers and restrooms. Next was a cavern cenote where did assisted rappelling. diving from a small platform, and swimming in the turquoise blue water. Next was my favorite, an ancient cenote with two circuits of zip lines. These zip lines had "seats" and were tons of fun. We had lunch at this location. Lunch was a nice variety of sandwich meat, some sides, and beverages (including beer and wine), and dessert. Not a gourmet meal, but it was filling and it worked. The last cenote was semi-open with lots of flora and fauna. We swam and kayaked. We then gathered at the central location again where we bought our pictures. Not a cheap day but totally worth it! We bought our tickets in combination with Xcaret so I am not sure exactly how much it was per person, but prices generally run over $100 per person. Look online, buy in advance and you can probably find some specials. Plus, you will probably want to buy some sort of photo package. It is really hard to take photos when you are participating in all of those water activities. We also felt very safe on this organized tour. On our latest Mexican vacation to the Riviera Maya we had an ADVENTURE DAY with Xenotes Tour Group. We got to travel to four different cenotes and do different activities at each. Every vacation I try to do at least ONE thing that scares me! I am afraid of heights so rappelling into a cavern was my one "brave moment!" Besides having a romantic and adventurous day with my husband, we got to immerse ourselves in the stunning water and beauty of the Mexican scenery. At the first Cenote, considered an Ancient one, we did Ziplining, Cliff Jumping and got to swim among the waterlilies. (I did NOT Cliff Jump!!!) My favorite part was going Kayaking! We Kayaked through a semi-open Cenote with stone walls and hanging gardens. The multitude of butterflies swarming by the boats was just stunning! It took us a while to find our paddling rhythm but we did awesome going down the water and had a BLAST during the race at the last part! Afterwards we traveled through a "secret tunnel" full of bats and then plunged from some steep steps into the next cenote that we snorkeled in. Robert didn't know it was that SHARP of a drop and scrapped his shin all up. Rappelling wasn't as scary as I thought and once you were lowered down into the water and looked UP it was breaktaking! The way the light poured through the hole in the ceiling and ignited the water to a bright flaming sapphire color was just gorgeous and I REGRET my little phone just couldn't capture it. The tour company were total pros. They took a small private group, had a professional photographer there to take your pictures, restrooms were every where, transportation was included AND it was all you could eat and drink! We had such a good time on this tour. Our driver was Joshua Duran and Alejandra was our photographer. They were excellent! The scariest for me was jumping into a cenote. I was literally the last of my group to jump and I got to say thanks for your patients and guidance. After that jump I was good on the rest of the activities. Don't forget your waterproof case and water shoes like I did. Water shoes are definitely needed. We got a breakfast and lunch and beer was provided;) also no sunscreen is allowed because the people from the little town use this water and they want to keep it clean. I've never experienced a tour quite as exciting as this one. We purchased our tickets about two days prior through our resort and it was the highlight of our vacation! Our tour guide was fun, but also responsible. This helped us ease into the experiences of the acrobatic zip lining and jump off points. He made sure that the group understood the importance of following the safety instructions, such as wearing the life vest at all times... and shaking them out prior to putting them on (you know, in case of sneaky spiders and crawly things). The entire experience took place outdoors in the jungle; however, even though you're with the elements, all the cenote sites have proper restrooms, showers and a covered area for sitting and meal eating. There are a total of four cenotes to explore and each has its own charm. My favorite cenotes included propelling into a very dark cave where only a ray of light could shine through; it was majestic (and cold). Another cenote allowed us to explore a river with greenery all around and we were able to kayak and explore on our own for a bit. If given the chance to visit again, I would want to make this experience a part of my trip again. It was also very refreshing given the humid climate. read more

Our guide was Andres and our photographer was Gena. This excursion was absolutely amazing. Picked us up from our resort at 830am. It was a bit of a drive but so so worth it. Andres had his jams going the whole ride there. He had a pretty good play list going. We went to 5 different xenotes. One had a water slide, a zip line that dropped you into the water and a cliff jump. You float about a quarter mile until you get to a cave that has a 12-15 foot cliff jump. You kayake through another xenote and repell about 70 feet down into another where you also dive into water. This place is seriously breathtaking. Another cenote had zip lines where you drop into the water. Theres another one that you snorkel in with catfish and other small fish. Our photographer was amazing too. She caught some really good pictures. Mid - dive and on the water slides. I would recommend this tour 100%. We got back to our hotel around 630pm. Makes for a long day but again, it was so worth it. They provided lunch with beer and wine. We LOVED this excursion. read more

I now have a new favorite excursion to go on while in Cancun! The Xenotes Oasis Maya is well-organized touring company which gives you a specialized tour of four different excursions of cenotes, which are a group of underground network of caves with rivers and lakes with warm water that are predominant in Yucatan region of Mexico. Xenotes gives you an opportunity to jump into the cenote (or sinkhole as they say in Mexico) from atop cliffs or zip-line in. The company picks you up at your hotel and takes you all the way to the jungle area, which they own. The cliff areas are jagged but some parts are man made so it easy to walk barefoot with accessible steps and railings. They do insist you wear a swimsuit because there's a lot of swimming and diving to be done. You can't wear strapless flip flops and you have to shower off before you even enter the cenotes due to the fact that these are precious ecosystems (yet in which our smelly bodies were still all swimming in) so they would prefer to not get chemicals from sunblock and bug spray into the water. They do offer a bevy of all-you-can drink bottled waters and soft drinks, so much so that I took extra bottles and manged to drink them all week long while staying at my hotel. (I'm bringing an extra bag to take more next time!) They also have complimentary towels and snorkeling gear for use in the second cenote. The company offers water shoes and glasses straps for sale because the cenotes are notoriously deep and you're stuff (like jewelry) will in fact slip off and fall deep into the water never to be seen again. You can wear your own strap-on slippers and if you have flip flops you're gonna have to strap them onto your life jacket. The road is bumpy once we enter the jungle via the tour van that picked us up at our hotel it took about an hour to get our photographer and itinerary and then it was off into the bumpy ride into the jungle. There was no napping here. Yoshua was our fantastic driver and tour guide while Karina took some amazing pictures which were made for sale at the company's headquarters in the jungle once our trip was over. Ik, which means wind, is the first cenote. It was here where you zip line and jump drop straight into the water it was mild thanks to the warm water. From there we drove to the second xenote called Ha' where snorkeling under a cave was prominent but unfortunately you couldn't see anything underwater. Then in a continuation of this xenote kayaking was featured as I got the opportunity to kayak with our guide since I was the odd number in our group. It was a fun adventure lots of number boats going on as another tour was happening at the same time. Then it was time for the third cenote which you repel into a deep water cave where you get to explore a shallower cenote which allowed for more cliff diving from a less taller cliff than the first one. After that we got the opportunity to have an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet with sandwiches, ahi tuna salads and soups were featured. And there was plenty of all you can drink cervezas and Malbec wine. It was great and the perfect way to spend the afternoon under a canopy in the jungle. Lunch gave us a great opportunity to catch our breath and refuel and head towards our fourth and final cenote experience. This one was "fire." We drove and then walked on a nature hike, taking in all of the flora of the region which led us to the end of a river where we all had to take a huge jump into a river where we then were forced to swim back down the long river (as to why we didn't use inner tube which I saw nearby is beyond me) it was a long and tiring swim, which you could also do the backstroke which made me ready for the long forty five minute drive back to the hotel, but not before you got the opportunity to ride their in-house waterslide one last time. This was whole experience was my one of favorite excursions ever. There was so much to see and do and Yoshua was a great host and Karina took beautiful pictures to remember the day's activities. If given the chance, I would totally pay to do it all over again and that says a lot. read more

Words of Advice: Avoid and spend your 9 hours elsewhere. Xenotes is a tour that takes you to 4 sinkholes: a cave, a semi-cavern, an open air and another open air. You would think this sounds pretty cool what with the advertisements of your money going toward you ziplining through sinkholes, diving, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, ripling and maybe sliding down. You would think possibly you would see many beautiful sites or that you would enjoy something historic. All those thoughts can be valid...but not really so here. The concept of this tour is badass. As someone who loves an adventure and basically fangirled over the notion of seeing a cavern sinkhole, I was *so* hyped for this tour. That hyped died just as fast as the ride to each sinkhole (which was pretty quick). The Ride to the Locations: The tour guide seemed jovial and spoke/understood English which was a great thing for those of us who don't speak Spanish beyond how to locate a bathroom. You are picked up in a van which stops all around the Hotel Zone picking up various passengers. At the end your group is likely around 15 people. You get told that you need to wear water shoes (was unaware until we reaced the first sinkhole), that a wetsuit kind of top should be worn due to the mosquitoes and the loss of heat that will occur after leaving each sinkhole, and that you will need to wear a life jacket regardless of your expertise at swimming. You dish out about $42 for the gear minus the guide provided life jackets and you think "this will be fun" but it won't. Why? Because the life jackets they give you are faulty. The guide had a good size of people to deal with but he ignored my questions about my life jacket being too big. I felt concerned but was told that it was normal and I would be okay...I was not okay and my wallet a little less full. The Life Jackets: They are older and most don't have enough insulation to keep afloat. My first sinkhole was me basically choking and about to drown because 1. I am not the strongest swimmer and 2. the first swim is the longest. My life jacket was bigger (a size small mind you) and it could not for the life of it float me. I tried to keep myself on my back to float but I wasbeing dragged down by the life jacket. The jacket would ride up and cut off my breathing and if it weren't for my boyfriend helping me, I don't know what would have happened since the guide was pretty indifferent to it all. I was scolded for wearing a small and not a child sized life jacket. When I told him how I had asked about the jacket it was dismissed. At the first aailable area to dive into the sinkhole (the first sinkhole i.e. where I felt like I could have died), the guide was not listening to my refusal to jump. He had retied my too big life jacket and was putting his on until I had to basicaly shout NO. Yeah...we were now on the awkward stage between me and this guide. The life jackets continued to be an issue as some of those on the tour seemed in distress at times because of them. It put me into such a damper I was too scared to do anymore water activities given how no one in charge seemed to care. The guide: Once again I understand you have a "bigger" group of people to handle on the tour but he paid little attention to the English speakers. He would crack jokes only to the Spanish speakers and engage with their questions without translating. It was like third wheeling on a date. Awkward and boring. He was unsympathetic when an item was lost and I snapped back telling him that he could show some compassion He just laughed and scolded the people who lost the item. I was not having that after a day of being ignored and honestly wanting to gtfo because the sinkholes? They were boring and misrepresented. The Sinkoles: Don't be fooled. Nothing was as advertised. There was no cavern sinkhole. I felt like we were in a river or stream based on the surrounding scenery. Nothing was actually as advertised and that misrepresentation was likely what irked me considering the cost and time spent on attending this tour. Were the sinkholes and nature pretty? Of course. Was it worth the time and money? No, not one bit. What was the best part of the tour? Getting off the van at my resort. Save your money, do something else. read more

We had a tour guide to show us and really guide us through the forest and cenotes. We were on set schedule so we were able to complete all the activities. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. This is probably the best excursion I've ever been on. Everything about it was great. I don't have any complaints at all. Our tour guide was great! He was humorous and made the day fun. He looked out and helped everyone. He helped me when I got tired swimming and I appreciate him so much. The four xenotes were all great in their own way. It was all so beautiful. Different activities at each location made it even more exciting and fun. There was a good amount of time spent at each location. I didn't feel rush or bored at any point. I wasn't planning on buying the picture package but after seeing the pictures, I had to get them. Our photographer did a great job capturing pictures throughout the day. Worth every penny! I don't know what your bucket list entails, but mine includes swimming in xenotes/cenotes. With this tour which is a part of eXcursions Xcaret, you can experience 4 xenotes and perform different activities in each one. Of note: I cannot swim, and have a minimal fear of heights. However, this was still on my bucket list (along with cage-diving with sharks). This tour can be enjoyed by all, except with the usual issues such as back and heart problems etc, as it is not THAT strenuous and life jackets are mandatory. PRO-TIPS: Invest in a good waterproof camera or cover. You get in the water every time. And though I would have loved to bring my SLR, it would've been a pain to try to keep safe. Wear water sandals. Tennis shoes and slippers are just unwise. Don't use sunscreen. They make you wash it off anyway. Don't bring a lot of stuff. Most of the time, you will leave it in the shuttle. Lunch and drinks are provided, so you don't have to bring any. It took about 2.5 hours before reaching our first xenote destination. That includes pick-ups of other clients from different hotels, no traffic, and the driver's stop to pick up the photographer and itinerary. It also includes the 35-45 minute bumpy ride on unpaved dirt road. I get carsick easily, so TIP: sit up front if you can. And suck on some candy, it helps. What I've learned though, from previous trips to Costa Rica and El Nido, Philippines, unpaved dirt roads are a good thing. It leads you to untouched and pristine landscapes and destinations. Our first stop was the xenote Iik where we enjoyed zip-lining over water. There is NO dry finish. You HAVE TO land in the water. Either jump or let the water drag you to a stop. I liked this xenote due to the 2 types of zip-line available: seated or hanging (think pull-up bar) There was enough time to zip-line 4 times per person and even a 'Mayan Sacrifice' jump from the platform, if you wanted. My husband did that, of course! The 2nd xenote was the least enjoyable of all due the fact that there was not much to see snorkeling. The water was also cooler than the first. GERMOPHOBE TIP: The snorkel gear provided appears new, with a plastic-covered mouthpiece. And they offer u to take the mouthpiece at the end if u wanted. So, it makes me feel better that I am not using a used mouthpiece. The kayaking made for great pictures, but the water is calm and it is no Colorado River-rapids. The 3rd xenote Luum was the assisted-rappel one. It was the most beautiful one of all, in my opinion. It was the most enclosed one, very cavey, making the water look very blue. But the cave was dark and good pictures were hard to capture. A few bats were heard but the cave does not stink of guano. The water was also the coldest here, be warned! A snack of pastries and drinks were provided earlier. Lunch was mediocre with make-your-own sandwich, and some salad. The fudgy brownies were surprisingly good. Red wine and beer was also available. I would've wanted a more Mexican or Mayan-related meal. The 4th xenote was another zip-line, only a bar this time, so I had no choice but to do it! More enjoyable swimming. Our driver and guide was Gabriel. His English was not bad (there were only 4 people he needed to translate to, the rest (10-11 guests) were from Mexico and Colombia) but at times, I cannot tell if he was saying "can" or "can't". I also liked that he did not stress tipping and only memtioned it once at the end. That deserves more tips. The photographer's skills were not that great, but he had better pictures than my 5-yr-old underwater camera which takes crappy regular photos. THIS IS WHERE THEY GET YOU. $89 for all your pictures in a USB. Le sigh. But the experience was great. I mean, come on, it's only a little bit more than what they offer you to zipline in Catalina Island - which is a joke, btw. I don't know how they are scheduling guests, but it's amazing. NO LONG LINES. There was one group always before us, but they were usually halfway done, giving the xenotes all to just our group! No group after us either. This is NO THEME PARK. Everything seems natural. The way it should be. Why did I choose this instead of Selvatica which offers ziplining too? Because I have ziplined the longest and highest in Costa Rica, which is super amazing, as well as all their skywalks, swing and ATVing. If you're with family or if you're not a very big adrenaline person, this Xenotes is for you. But if you like hardcore adrenaline stuff - I'd maybe look at something else. I was with my parents and 15 year old brother for this - we enjoyed it and saw lots of couples/other families/girls trip people here, but... most of them were not major adrenaline junkies. BUY CROCS. BUY CROCS. BUY CROCS. You'll thank me later. Even if you have your own "water shoes", just buy the cheap crocs. Most of the places you'll explore are slippery + you have to slip your shoes onto your life vest while you are in the water -- might as well get light/easy to clean crocs. I wish my mom could have warned us! We had Pedro as our driver/water guide. He picked us up from our Resort. The shuttle bus was very full. Pedro was nice. I liked him. They provide you with: a Towel, Snorkeling gear. You can't take these home unfortunately. Bring dry clothes if you want to change after your final activity. I didn't really care, so I didn't, haha. I wish I had pictures. The places we went to were so pretty. But.... my phone isn't waterproof. 1st Activity I wish this was the last one. The first jump is a cliff jump. I couldn't do it. My heart jumped every time I got close to the edge. If I had a drink or 2, I probably could have, lol. But the water is so clear and beautiful. If you're a chicken like me - you can walk back to the front of the activity. If in the water, you swim your way back to the front Next: there's a slide you can do as well as zip lining across the water. Both of these are really fun. Definitely worth doing Oh - they do provide a light snack: bananas and breakfast donuts. 2nd Activity You will zip line down into a cave with pretty water to meet you. Once you get out, you can jump in again. Water was cold though. 3rd Activity Snorkeling in a smaller cave area. We saw small mini fish swimming... nothing crazy. :P Kayaking is the 2nd part. 2 man kayaks only! You'll kayak in between cliffs - so pretty. Absolutely gorgeous. Lunch - just sandwiches given. A -OK. But tbh, you have 1 more water thing to do so... But they did give us wine, beer, sodas, and etc. 4th Activity Zip lining, Swinging into the water, and cliff jumping. SUPER FUN!!! Observations: Adrian was very clear spoken and informative, Alvaro took great pics of everyone. Prices for the photos were fine for us ($138 for a large group of 14). The water is cold so beware! No need for sunscreen or bug spray. Bring a waterproof camera and/or GoPro (maybe with some floating straps)! The "glam" lunch was just ok. Pros: You can do so much in the beautiful nature of Mexico. My favorite is the first zip line that falls down to an underground cave. The water is crystal clear and refreshing. I know it sounds scary but definitely jump off the 15 ft (5meter) cliff in the second xenote. I am so glad I did it despite my fear and the rush of massive amounts of adrenaline rushing though my whole body. It was worth it!!! Cons: You can buy pictures at the end of the tour. However, they are so expensive. It's about $90 for the photos... The picnic food is not that great. The food is so bland and I felt like I was stuffing my face due to hunger rather than the food being delicious. The roads to the xenotes are extremely bumpy... It's like riding the Indiana jones ride at Disneyland. Expect this car ride lasts for over 30 minutes. The whole car shakes as you hold on for your dear life... Overall, it's worth the money and time away from your resort. My hubby and I paid $260 for the both of us! This included transportation to the caves! read more

Tour of the xenotes itself was great. However, we paid $100 for our photo package and we never received it. The code they provided does not work and contacting them is pointless. They do not answer emails or phone calls. It is very disappointing to lose all of our pictures and money! This is a complete scam. read more

While the experience was good, the company defrauded us of $125 for family photos. I clarified with the photographer very clearly that there will be no logos on the photos. When we got the delivery of the photos all of them had xenotes logo, some on face, some on legs.... I cant print these family photos in large and put them up on the wall at home. After several mails and calls, no avail. They are refusing on point blank to remove logos. I paid for my photos, not to advertise their company. Avoid buying photos if you can. they have a scare tactic to stop you from taking your phones in waterproof cases, make your own memories. read more

This was the most amazing day!! Our entire group of 10 all agreed it was the BEST part of our Mexico trip! Every cenote was unique and beautiful!! I could of Gone back daily and never of gotten enough! I'm TERRIFIED of heights but everyone talked me into the repelling, zip line and cliff jumping and I LOVED it all! It was definitely a trill!! Wear water shoes because there are steep or slippery stairs. HIRE THE PHOTOGRAPHER!! The package was for up to 10 people and he got AMAZING action shots that we would of never gotten and they were all emailed to me the same day!! The photographer took 500 pics and was allowing us to do group shots at each place!! Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch and snacks were good. All around EXCELLENT tour. Only complaint would be need a second towel at the end because ours was too wet by that point to dry off with it. This was absolutely our favorite part of our Riviera Maya trip!! The cenotes were absolutely beautiful. Our tour guide was super friendly and made us feel safe and comfortable. The lunch provided was ample and delicious. There were 4 different locations and each had its own featured activity, which ranged from zip lining and dropping into the water (LOVED IT!!!), to cliff jumping, kayaking and snorkeling. I was a little leery about taking a tour because I felt it was gonna be some kind of tourist trap cheesy excursion. I was WRONG. I had so much fun the entire day. Our tour guide Gabo was great and kept everyone excited and engaged in the activities. He had a lot of knowledge about the area and history. Lunch was very good and the day was packed with events. Plan for a long day because you will do a lot!!! The infrastructure in place was great- bathrooms and dressing rooms at each location. Highly recommended. read more

Definitely not my style of adventure just because I am scared of heights and during the Xenotes tour you do a lot of zip lining/jumping off of cliffs. When I first signed up for this tour I will be honest with you, I thought we were just going to be swimming through caves, admiring the environment. Boy was I wrong! The first xenote we stopped at had a water slide, zip line, and cliff jump. I was brave enough to do the slide. The second xenote was a rappelling into a cave that had the most beautiful blue water. I walked into the cave because I was scared of rappelling. I'm extremely afraid of heights. The third xenote was my favorite. Kayaking! And "snorkeling." The snorkeling there isn't much to see. The forth xenote was 2 zip lines and cliff jumping. I did one zip line and that was about it. So for me it wasn't worth the money because I'm afraid of heights but if you aren't afraid this tour is truly worth it. The sites are beautiful in the middle of the wilderness. You will be totally disconnected from the world because your cellphones will not work but it's for the best enjoy the views and the adrenaline rush!! I had fun even though I was scared to do 90% of the activities. They provide a towel and sunblock. If you bring sunblock make sure it's a 100% biodegradable because you can't use it unless it is. I wouldn't bother bringing any though less stuff you have to carry since they provide it for you. Beverages are provided at every Xenote. Lunch was decent it's basically bread and cold cut meats to make a sandwich. Luis was our tour guide and Pedro was our photographer I highly recommend them they were GREAT! Answered all my questions, assured me I wasn't going to die on the zip line, and did not make me feel bad in anyway because I didn't take part in every activity. They were both super friendly and kind. One thing I do recommend bringing and was confused as to why I saw people without is WATER SHOES. You definitely want those here and a water proof case if you want to take your own pictures, I just bought the pictures that day. This was probably the best tour I have ever been on! I am so glad I booked it last minute! I was hesitate to book because of the cost but my cousin who has done it before highly recommended it. It cost me $110 and it was well worth it! First, we were picked up on time at 9:15am at our hotel and headed to Cenotes. From the Hotel Zone, it was about an hour drive out, but thankfully we were in a comfortable air condition shuttle (Mercedes Sprinter) . My boyfriend and I packed a backpack to hold our cell phones etc, and we left it in the shuttle bus at each stop so it was safe. There's no need to bring a towel since it's provided for you. I would recommend getting water shoes if you can ahead of time, but they sell it there too if you really want them for $31.00 I believe. Our tour guide mentioned to not bring anything with you during the activity because you can lose it, and boy he was right! My boyfriend unfortunately lost his Apple Watch and another person in our group lost his GoPro. You can purchase photos but we opted out. We had our GoPro the entire time and got amazing footages from it. I believe the route of the tour depends on how busy it is at each location. Our first stop, we had to wash our bodies off because they do not want any sunblock or anything that can harm the fishes living in the water. They do provide biodegradable sunblock if you absolutely need it. The good thing about this tour is that 70% of the activities is shaded. The first stop we went zip lining into a big open lake which was scary at first but once you see everyone doing it, you just get pumped and do it too. We also jumped off a cliff into the lake at this stop. Our second stop was kayaking, then we went snorkeling, which wasn't really snorkeling, we just swam in a cave but it was great. Third stop we went rappelling into a cave and jumped off a rock into the clear blue water! Then we had lunch and to my surprise was delicious! There was sushi which i was scared to try, hot soup which was so good, salad and deli meat and cheese to make your own sandwich. I thought the tour was over after lunch because it had already been a long day but we had more! After lunch, we went to another cliff to jump into the water, I did not do this because it was really high and i just had lunch so i went down the stairs into the water. We swam a good amount of time to the other side which had a water slide, and lastly at that location we also zip lined into the water. After the last activity, we went back to a designated area to dry off and people who wanted to purchase photos was able to at that time. We got back to our hotel at 6pm. We stayed at Hyatt Zilara. We had about 18 people in our group, age ranging from 8-55, and they all participated in all the activities! I'm not the best swimmer and I was able to do all the activities. I probably would not recommend this tour if you're extremely scared of heights. It was the most organized tour I've been on and so much fun and our tour guide David had the right amount of energy! I also liked that they did not force us to buy anything and made sure we were safe the whole time! Don't miss out on this amazing tour! read more

One of the best and most beautiful experiences I had in Mexico. I went with my family of 8 including my father. Let's just say seeing a 75 yr old go down a zip line was more than worth the trip. This excursion was so much fun! It was filled with four fun Xenotes that included activities at each spot. It included fun zip lining, kayaking, and jumping off 20 feet cliffs. Our tour guide Elizabeth "Liz" was very knowledgeable and was a wonderful tour guide. Jearson (I'm sure I spelled his name wrong, sorry) was our photographer and was fun as well. I would recommend to bring your own rash guards because they were selling them for $38 which is kinda pricey considering buying the tour and pictures. Also FYI, the photo packages only accommodate a max of 10 people, which was the only con since we had 11 people. So one person couldn't get their photo taken. Amazing adventure. You gotta love water and you gotta not mind it being cool, not warm, if you can manage that, you will have a very fun filled day. If you don't then you're over-medicated. The 4 cenotes were each a little different and the adventures in each cenote was always fun. Our most enjoyable one was the ziplines that ended in the water. Our guide "Sene",was funny and entertaining and very informative. The lunch was so-so, sandwiches that you put together. I'd have preferred something more substantial/different, but that didn't take away from it all. You are always in life jackets and they float very well. You NEVER have to do anything you're not comfortable with either but most people do almost every activity without hesitation. The only caveot was the last adventure we took, where we went down a slide into a cenote and swam to the next adventure which was jumping off a 12' cliff (optional). The swim was a little long but the life jackets made it easier and you could ask for an inner tube. We had a BLAST, full day adventure, so much fun!!! Don't let the cool water scare you, it really isn't bad. Promise! read more

You want loyal service till the end? Then don't come here. Such a great experience and I had a great time! Until I accidentally left my camera on my seat after the tour and the tour guide ran off with it after 2 mins of dropping me off and said it wasn't there. The company wouldn't let me contact the tour guide or go to their van location (they should have one). I was literally using my camera in the van so it was there. I was the last person to leave that van too and he didn't see it when he got the message? (the camera was placed securely to the water cup slot with a selfie stick). I called their customer service and they did not do anything about it. Always check your stuff before you leave! I just feel fooled with their customer service and trustworthiness. Everything is so beautiful and if you enjoy a little thrill this would be the spot for you. They bring a photographer along with you and they'll capture everything for you. We had an amazing time! My husband and i went for our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our tour guides name was Luis and he was so nice! We had a couple in our group who did not understand English very well and he did his best to accommodate, LOTS of patience! Food was good, they gave sandwiches (think of it as subway, but you do it yourself). Refreshments everywhere! They also provide sunblock and bug repellent free of charge, just ask in advance! Play the oops card! They offered a photo package, it may be a little pricey, around $90 but it was totally worth it! My husband didnt want it at first but once we previewed the pictures (during out lunch hour) we were 100 percent sold!
