Hi i have noticed for a very long time cable boxes and or TV boxes or whatever they are in this community have exposed cables, Torn exposed cables, and bent over boxes. These cable/TV boxes are a hazard to the children and people in general in this community. Children and dogs could bite the cables and get harmed or even get killed, people could cut themselves on the exposed wires, there are potential hazards like the exposed cables sparking a fire, plus hornets, wasps, bees nest in these cable/TV boxes. What is going to be done about this very serious topic and who does someone call to report this topic to? Comcast has not done anything about the Exposed boxes for 10 plus years. read more

Stopped in today to exchange a device. Checked in at the front counter. It wasn't too busy. I had maybe a five minute wait. The man that helped me happened to be a new employee. He was very pleasant. He made the process painless. He input the needed data into the system. He had me in and out with my new device in about ten minutes. My husband returned the modem and the people at the store told him that they can't cancel my account because the account is under my name. But after that I called the Xfinity service center and she told me that the people in the store totally have the ability to cancel my plan right there, they just don't want to coz they don't want the cancellation on their record. They caused lots of trouble for me to call the center and my husband got stuck in that store for a long time. They overcharged me $400 and do not want to refund or credit me. A rep made a mistake and Xfinity does not want to be accountable! I don't know how they can get away with this. They won't let you call ahead to check the queue so it's a risk how long the wait is when you come. Modems expire after just 2-3 years, and a simple equipment swap can take hours. read more

I tried to contact someone from Xfinity regarding repeated interrupted Internet connection. I was not able to speak to an agent. I was only able to text or given a message to go online, which I was unable to do with no Internet connection. My issue has not been resolved. I am paying outrageous fees for horrible service. I asked for customer service and that's basically the last comment this person heard. He would not stop talking. He actually got very rude. I told him I couldn't connect to Alexa. I was trying to reach customer service but instead he started reading his sales pitch. I got this sales pitch twice from different people. I already had a modem but it wasn't functioning with Alexa. So the person started trying to sell me insurance should I need a tech person on site. I told him or tried to tell him, I didn't need insurance I needed a working modem. Ok he says so what's your address he asks. I said please connect me to customer service. He asked me if I would rather pay a $100 a visit or $100 for 3 years insurance. I started to to ask him again to put me through to customer service but he never stopped talking even when I said to stop talking. the only way to escape was to hang up. I called back and got a woman with the exact same insurance scam and I end up having to hang up on her also. You bet you sweet biffy I do NOT recommend this charlatan. read more

If someone served me a s**t sandwich, after I paid for it, not knowing it was actual fecal matter, & then refused a refund, that would be Xfinity Comcast internet service. Oh they jacked the price too from last year, but the service has gotten infinitely worse. The customer service in an Venezuelan prison would be a step up (read up on Venezuelan prisons). This particular Xfinity Store by Comcast is located in the Rotunda shopping center, which has plenty of parking. This location is fairly new, opened about 2 years ago. The store itself still has that "new store" vibe to it. The people (very female heavy workforce) working here are very friendly and helpful. Most of the customers are here to either pick up or drop off their cable boxes and/or internet modems. They also sell phones and activate new services with Xfinity Mobile, which is only available if you are already a Comcast internet customer. Why is it not 5-stars? The wait for an agent to help you after signing in can be awhile, and sometimes despite their best effort, they are still unable to help you in-store. It's Comcast, after all... read more

AVOID!! I have had nothing but headaches with Verizon/Xfinity since day one--with misleading pricing and sudden increases in price with no warning. When I've called to complain, I hear one version on the phone, but then it's something different when the next bill comes. In the latest example of frustration, I did receive get a coupon (a "Verizon reward") for my trouble (literally hours spent on the phone, and being transferred from one incompetent person to the next). But then when I used a portion of the reward, as was allowed, to pay the monthly balance on my account, the remainder of the amount that had been awarded to me was unusable. After spending even MORE time on the phone trying to figure out what happened, I was told, much to my surprise (with no prior warning in the "fine print") that if you don't use the entire amount at one time, that the remainder that wasn't used in the first use of the reward is forfeited (nothing to do with an expiration date, btw). Unbelievable! This is just the latest in a string of frustrations based on price hikes. It is the worst customer service I have even seen in my decades of dealing with various household needs. The service is so bad and frustrating that nothing even comes close. Time to switch! Long overdue. read more

Getting our first time account properly sorted was pulling teeth because we tried to start the process online but the website kept crashing. When we arrived to the store Nakia advised us to go with the internet service tier above the basic level with Flex Box and so far the service has been great. We have about 6 devices connected to our WI-FI at the same time and experience no slowdowns or interruptions in service while streaming from Netflix/Hulu/Prime Video/Tubi. I would say...my only pet peeve is that the Xfinity website itself is always having problems. I wouldn't recommend FIOS over Xfinity unless you need the top FIOS package and you're running a dedicated server from home. read more

I visited the Xfinity store at the Rotunda in Baltimore with several issues and they were completely addressed in a professional and timely fashion. This is not store personal, but the national Xfinity customer service is a joke, so if you could pass it on: I got this prepaid internet thing thinking to improve on my Landlord's "free WiFi" such was much slower than advertised. I use it for watching my YouTube TV and occasionally attempting to play a video game if we're operating at peak performance. I understand that this isn't designed for gaming, but my issue is with the absolutely ludicrous inconsistencies with even YTTV tolerable speeds. I have a hard time figuring out what I'm paying for. When it's at its peak performance speed wise, it is a marked improvement at 1.7 mbps upload and 22.0 download speeds, which is marginally higher than my Landlord's wifi. The issue is that it has just always been insanely inconsistent, making watching TV and gaming completely impossible. I don't want to hear the "internet speeds not guaranteed malarkey", because it wasn't advertised as unusable in its inconsistencies. This needs to change now, or no more refills. read more

I came in to adjust my plan because for some reason I can't do it online anymore. After years of being told I had to go to the White Marsh location w/e I needed something, I never knew about this location that's right around the corner from my house. I went in and everyone was just so chill and friendly. I love it when I can sense employees are just being themselves around customers. In particular your sales consultant Porfiria Pinilla. She was very chill and helpful. She even offered me suggestions on how to save on my bill. It's employees like her who keep me as a long term customer because they show you they care and understand the frustrations us as customers sometimes have with Comcast ever increasing bills. read more

I visited the Xfinity store at 733 W 40th Street yesterday around 4:30pm. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service and wait time. I stood in the store for over 15 minutes without even being greeted or asked to please wait for service. Finally a gentleman came into the store with a Xfinity Business jacket on and after a few minutes asked me what did I need help with and they he would get someone for me. Let me mention that when I walked in a tall Lady with braids was helping someone and never asked if she could assist me she walked to the back and didn't reappear until after I was helped and was leaving out. There was another lady that also came from the back and walked across the store on her cell phone to the same counter were someone was helping a customer and just sat on her cell phone. Customer service needs to be addressed at this store. There's no reason I was there for over 25-30 minutes to exchange equipment. Once I was assisted the gentleman was quick and helpful. I will probably never return to this store even though its closer to my home. I will just go back to riding out to the White Marsh location. At least there they are efficient and polite. read more

Please stay away from Xfinity mobile. Not only did they cancel my service but the bill was paid and the service had been cancelled. I called but could not get live person. it was tuff getting a live person but then when I did, I was on the line for nearly a hour. This service is complete garbage. The absolute worse. I wouldnt get a dog a phone service from Xfinity Mobile. Why are they even in business. No supervisor and the person on the phone really cant speak English. What kind of back alley mess is this.
