I was told by a xfinity rep that I could send my son to return my equipment as my work hrs do not allow me to make the 45 min drive to the xfinity store while they are open. They allowed my son to turn in the touchscreen but stated that "I had to be the one to return the cameras because it was my account?!" My boyfriend and I went in to upgrade our phones. The sales guy kept making us offers for watches and iPads and when we went to get them, they said the offers don't apply to me. When I gave them my information, they said that we did not have service with them. After 10 mins of searching I guess they found our account. Then the guy who was helping us switch our phones over mixed up our phones so when we finally left after some hours, I was getting my boyfriends calls and he was getting mine. The guy was watching videos on his phone and seemed distracted so I wasn't totally shocked. When I called to switch the numbers, he had not entered our information so it was mass confusion. I've currently been on the phone for 3 hours.. this is CRAZY! No one knows how to fix it. We both run businesses off our phone so you can imagine our frustration. I had to replace my Android phone with a new one through Xfinity. They sent me the new phone, so I took both the old and new phone to the store on Mulford Drive. I was first assisted by one technician, and then he had to step away. Another technician, Justin, came to finish the transfer of my data. The first transfer failed, but then he very patiently did a reset of the new phone, and tried again, and was able to transfer my old phone data to my new phone. Justin did a great job, and was very thorough. I checked out the new phone before I left, and everything seemed to be working fine. Xfinity on East State street is filled with the most rude people who have no customer service skills. I had already canceled my service with them and was trying to pay a bill , which I don't think I even owed for $43.12. They won't let you pay cash or check, you have to use a card. I already canceled the card because they keep billing you even after you cancel service so it was the only way to stop them. Now they said I had to go out and get a new credit card and give them the number for it or they will turn me in to collections. They are ruthless and will stop at nothing to get their grubby hands on your money. They the worst manager I've ever had the displeasure to talk to, she arrogant, rude, and disrespectful to seniors and basically tells you there's nothing you can do about it and laughs in your face. We took my 83 year old father there to pick up his wifi and cable box and they talked him into switching his cell provider over to Xfinity by simply switching out the SIM Card. Instead of making the sim card switch at the store as requested they made a mistake and selected an option to mail it to his house, leaving my 83 year old handicapped father in law without a working phone until a SIM card showed up. When requested to cancel the order and correct it or simply provide a loaner phone temporarily, staff basically said there's nothing they can do about it and there are no other options available. More than (3) of those hours have been at another cell phone provider. The internet locked me out of the account, notating that they were under development making changes. Phone assistance was non existent as it advised to use the chat system. The alternative phone provider was transferred (3) times and told the numbers would be released in 12-24 hours. We were solid customers for more than (7) years and to be treated with such poor service is met with our total dissatisfaction. Hello, I have a recent bitter experience with Xfinity Mobile. I joined Xfinity Mobile in January 2021. A few weeks later, I found an ongoing promotion for new customers -$300 off phones, where you get the discount over the next 24 months. I called Xfinity sales in the first week of March 2021 and explained that I already joined Xfinity and asked if is it too late to get the promo. They were helpful and said yes, you are still eligible for the promo! The Xfinity sales agent helped me placed the order for an iPhone 11. In the following seven months, I was getting the promo credit each month. Last month September 2021, I had connectivity issues, so I called Xfinity customer support. They said that they would try reseting my line and the phone's SIM card and see if that would work. I'm not sure if that has fixed my connectivity issue as I had a few other calls that dropped but noticed the following week that a promo credit for my device is no longer there on my upcoming billing payment. My bill was slightly higher. I called right away to let Xfinity know that the SIM restart caused my promo to be deleted. They said that they would take care of it, but nothing changed on my bill. I called a few more times, but they were passing me from one department to another. It didn't seem that they could fix the billing mistake. On the last call yesterday, October 5, I was told that I was never eligible for the device promo. As a courtesy, they will not ask me to return the credits already received but will pay the total price for the iPhone device. Ridiculous! They want to make me pay for their mistake. I was offered the iPhone by the Xfinity sales team under a promo and called later to fix the connectivity issue. The next thing; they are removing my promo. I said, ok, I would like to return the phone and get my payments so far, but that doesn't seem like an option. I have spent so many hours on these calls. Each call is an average of an hour and thirty minutes. I am determined to have everyone else understand how Xfinity and Comcast operate and how they treat their customers. Stay away from them! Sure the plans are cheap, but it's like getting generic macaroni and cheese! Customer service stinks. You will wait for a "technical agent" for hours. Then they transfer you to the supposedly "advance technical agent", whom is nothing more than an advanced technical dummy. They cannot port over numbers correctly. They can't fix a problem. I have spent over 12 hours on the phone with them, most of it waiting in their queue...and they still haven't been able to correct the issue. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. I called with a cellular connection problem and it takes several minutes just to get to the right department. They ask for the same info repeatedly. Then when I finally get to someone who sounds like he might be able to help he asks if he can put me on hold. I tell him I am constantly disconnected and then have to go through the same process. He tells me that if we are disconnected he will call me back immediately. I ask him to repeat the number he will call and he gives me the correct number. Be careful when purchasing phones through Xfinity Mobile. Their 14 day return policy starts when they ship the phone. They don't tell you that on the phone. And even if you are able to send the phone back, they will determine that you damaged it. Cell service is not great either, I only got two bars most places and had several dropped calls. read more

I receive my Samsung S21 plus from Xfinity mobile August of 2021! From day one I have been having issues! Here we are 8 months later I am still having issues!!! During this time. I was diagnosed with cancer, went through surgery, chemo and radiation!!! All while still calling them to fix my phone never once did anyone offer credit nor did they offer to send me a new phone. Comcast is a disaster! Most agents I have talked to are sympathetic and helpful, but they are also victims of ridiculous corporate policies! Over the years I have had to deal with many issues, from multiple errors in billing, to equipment problems, to unconscionable policies like their current seasonal program! For years I have chosen a service package that included TV, phone, and Internet, and to place that on a seasonal status was costing me an unconscionable $42+ a month. That figure included a ridiculous, double figure "Broadcast Fee/tax" even though no services were being utilized, and I was over 1500 miles away! This year I chose to permanently drop the phone, and resisted their trying to pressure me into accepting their "normal" seasonal charges! Finally, after almost an hour of double talk I secured a package that leaves the Internet "connected" but unusable, and because I will not have to turn in the modem it will cost me $8 a month! When I return I will have to renegotiate all services from scratch! Fortunately, I have COX cable at my winter residence ( much better service, packages, and less expensive), and their "seasonal" charge when I am not in residence is a simple $10 a month, the cost of keeping the modem in place! I can also start/stop the service at least twice a year with no penalty! Comcast could learn a lot! Bottom line, even though the individual employees do their best, without a doubt Comcast is the worst managed service company I have ever dealt with. It's a shame, the right hand seems to have no idea what the left hand is doing, most of their services are expensive and troublesome, and their phone service and assistance very problematic! They have already driven many of my tech savvy friends to drop all services but the Internet, and go the HULU/ROKU/Fire Stick route. Just had another incident, I went on seasonal Dec 8th, but got a bill for a full month's services today!
