Ivan prepared a quick estimate, and two days later the repair was done start to finish. They were great with my dog. Understanding and quiet with me working from home. I explained the job to the two techs that came out and they were super receptive and professional. We discussed the job and options were great. Then I was quoted a job that was assessed at greater than my houses square footage with a job that was not at all what we discussed. I understand being careful and thorough, but I felt like I went to a Toyota dealership and was only quoted Maserati prices. Inquired regarding modifications to the quote and the answer I was given was "this is why my boss told me to tell you". I called another company who is a master electrician and is doing the job they quoted me 12k for 3k. I was bummed because electric is something I want done right and was hoping to give this local company business but will never recommend them.

    July 22, 2025 I have…read morebeen a Vivint customer for approximately three years. The equipment was fully paid off within the first year. In May 2025, I contacted Vivint to cancel my service and provided the required 30-day notice. Despite multiple attempts to cancel, they have refused to honor my request and have continued to charge my credit card. Due to their refusal to cancel the service, I was forced to cancel my credit card--a major inconvenience. The customer service experience has been extremely poor. With so many alarm companies available today, I find it unacceptable that Vivint treats its customers this way. To make matters worse, their customer service is not based in the United States, and communication has been difficult. I also sent two written correspondences to Vivint's corporate headquarters and never received a response. Anyone considering this company should be cautious. Once you sign up, canceling is a nightmare. The customer service is virtually nonexistent, and the overall experience has been incredibly frustrating.

That is a lie. We moved to Tennessee and called Vivent. They installed thousands of dollars worth of equipment. When we went to close the Easton account it was impossible because we refused to pay the 30 day penalty. The rep was rude and abrasive and argumentative. Our new buyers are in the Easton home and we are still getting alerts that our alarm is on. Now Vivent says unless our buyers utilize Vivent they will penalize us. For the fourth time my husband is trying to close that account. We are going to report them to BBB and the attorney general of Maryland.
