Xfinity is trying to ruin my life. Texting me threatening to send a bill to collections that I can't pay because we haven't had access to an account that we switched to my name from my dead grandmother. We've tried contacting anyone for months and all we get is the AI/automated chat/texting/call BS. They tell us our account is fixed and when we go to log in, we still can't get in, and the cycle repeats. Now they've also added on hundreds of dollars of late fees for a bill that was only late because they have locked us out of our account. We are on a seasonal plan at our vacation home in Ocean City, MD. It took 3 days and 4 calls to get our service restored. Call #1..in 4 to 8 hours your TV's will work...8 hours later nothing call #2. Your service will be restored in 4-8 hours. 8 hours later nothing. Call #3. Your service will be restored within 24 hours. 24 hours later, nothing. Call #4, your service will be restored in 4 hours. 4 hours later, nothing. Call # 5...service came on during call#5. The next day we get an email that service will be $450.00 a month. We drove to our local Xfinity store in PA and talked to a very unpleasant woman who said that it's only 247.00 a month and then begrudgingly helped me set up the Xfinity App. Drove 25 minutes home only to find that now email didn't work. Drove 25 minutes back to the store, waited 40 minutes and finally got a very nice young man to fix the email...customer service is a misnomer. We have had 3 accounts for many years. I called xfinity with two problems; my password would not works and I wanted to change the channel from 5.0 to 2.4. The representative was really odd; heavy accent. As I followed directions when I said ok, she would say "perfect." I screwed up one thing and Damn, she replied "perfect" the same thing was the response when I said Oh Shit. After an hour and a half I gave up and said I was done. She said I will call you later. I responded tomorrow morning since I can't take this anymore; her response "perfect." I will call in morning. so i was all set, computer open iphone charged by 0800; sat around unit 1400 hours. Never called. There was something really wrong with this woman. It was not funny when I was going through it but I am writing an article that will make people laugh. It will be in the local paper in Rehoboth beach. PS nothing helped. I have been trying to stop my new service since Dec. Turning off service before it barely got started because of unforeseen circumstances. The hours they have used, miles driven etc of mine is horrendous. Long story short. 45 minutes on Sunday. Told I could transfer it today. Now they are saying 60 days until I can. I have had the phone since Oct. Never activated it because I only had the wifi for 5 days. They owe myself for time and travel. For the third morning in a row we lost internet from 8ish till 10. No warning or anything. So either they are working and not telling people about the upcoming outages or they are just completely awful at providing service. We both work from home and meetings we were in just dropped. Here's another problem I'm having...as my mother has moved in with me, she no longer needs her own xfinity TV and internet. I have tried to get through to each person that has called that she did not terminate service on her own. It was out of necessity. They still want to hit her with penalties. I was told that if they understood why she had to give up service they would waver the fees. Guess what...now she and I are being threatened with collections. I was told by one worker there that she would start an internal email to the higher ups to get the ball rolling. I have never heard a word from xfinity's offices. An inept company with a Gallactically stupid off shore customer service with a price tag that squeezes every pennyout of you with average Bills in the $300 dollar range. Couple that to their having a monopoly in this area with no other cable providers puts them in the drivers seat where its not customer care but lets see if we can sell you something you don't need then tie you into a long term contract. Had a small problem with a new modem that wouldn't show Caller ID on the tv as the old modem did. On the chat for 90 minutes. Phones stopped working, TV not fixed, the CS guy having me turn things off and on and ended up with we will get back to you. A simple problem turned into a major failure. If I could render zero stars I would and I expect zero response to this query and if I do they will have you me to call an automated number that will drive you in circles where you become totally frustrated. horrible company read more

I work for a local construction company and Comcast has one of their old pedestals on one of our jobsites. The Owner wants to place a new driveway in this location. Therefore, ALL we need is a contract or invoice from Comcast with their charge amount to relocate their pedestal approx. 10'. We've been trying to get this completed since DECEMBER 5, 2017. It is now MARCH 22, 2018. We've called 5 times and still nothing is done. We've had an ESCALATED TICKET SINCE DECEMBER 5, 2017. Total BS! No explanation and no one knows their head from their elbow. Comcast is double billing us, and they insist they are right. I had just internet then I added tv too, the bill I just received is billing me in full for both. They re rude, the guy laughed at me, I asked to speak to supervisor and he wouldn't let me. I have never been treated so badly, and he wouldn't even give me his name. read more

Xfinity was great to work with. we were signing up in the height of covid and the service technician dropped off the equipment. We called the company and they walked us though the set-up. We were up and running right away and the TV and internet work fabulously. Very fast internet and clear picture on the TV. read more
