We've probably all had underwhelming experiences with Xfinity and/or Comcast over the years. Honesty is the best policy, right? So I just moved to a new house and had to transfer over my internet. I was eligible to receive some new equipment. The new materials shipped lightning fast (almost too fast) and self-installation was relatively painless. The most annoying part is that you have to return the old equipment. They give you a window of time you must return it by OR ELSE. Kidding. I was dreading dropped this stuff off in person, because of flat out awful customer services experiences with Xfinity/Comcast in my lifetime. To my complete and utter surprise, the experience couldn't have gone smoother. I haven't set foot in one of these stores in a number of years, they've sort of taken the Apple Store approach in its layout. Here's how it went down: Them: Hello, how can I help you? Me: Returning some equipment. Them: Cool, walk back here with me. (walks to back of store to terminal) (hands employee equipment) Them: Would you like a receipt? Me: Sure. Them: Here you go, have a nice day. Me: Thanks, take care. This one minute interaction was mildly life changing. I've wasted countless hours in store or over the phone with them over the years. I still can't believe how efficient this experience was. Am I recommending Xfinity/Comcast now? I mean, I'm not willing to sign a blood oath just yet. But if this is the direction they're heading, sign me up! read more

I spoke to Xfinity customer service who advised me I needed to go into my local store to obtain the senior discount she offered me over the phone. I thought it was ridiculous she couldn't do it over the phone. There's absolutely no way to talk to someone at this store to confirm this information customer service told me prior to driving all the way there. So I had to drive there. Once in this store, I was told they don't offer a senior discount & they couldn't help me. Seriously!?! They weren't apologetic or willing to help in any way, including the supervisor. I was told to call customer service back since this wasn't their problem. Always passing the buck. Interesting how they didn't care whether they kept me as a customer or not. 3 times i went to this store because my next bill wasnt what they told me it was going to be. they kept making excuses and giving me more equipment and told me it was going to be corrected. it never was. they are full of inept employees and managers. my bill was $90 more than it should be, even though the manager assured me it was going to be corrected. read more

I returned a defective (would not activate) wifi extender on 2-3-2026 which was well within Xfinity return Policy. The total purchase price was $128.47. The refund return policy stated on the refund receipt states refunds for purchases of $250 or less will be credited to your credit/debit card. This 2/13/2026 morning I went to the Xfinity store to inquire about my missing refund and was told by the store manager Mr. E. Slinger that I'll receive a refund check in 4-6 weeks. I stated that is not Xfinity policy and what could he do. He answers " I can sell you a modem!" I then walked out of the store. Real customer service huh? read more

Went in to correct my bill (2026 increase to promised fixed price 2-year promotion). Was working well with Erin when store manager interrupted and said they could not correct the charges and demanded I leave. Even threatened me. Get rid of the store manager. Get someone in there that is willing to work and I don't know help a customer! He (will the store manager) did a refund for a phone we returned. 42 days later I STILL do not have the money. I went in 10 days after he did this he provided a phone number and said that is all he can do it is out of his hands. I call this number and they tell me HE has to fix this. I am stuck in the middle of no one wanting to do their job and I am out A LOT of money! I have not had issues with other employees at this store but if the store manager is this way it will not be long before they all don't care. read more

Phone and direct customer service is unresponsive, rude and slow. I spent 4 hours with several customer service agents by phone. Nothing resolved! I went to the Arvada store and an associate was unable to help us and suggested that we call customer service. When I complained he said, "Have a nice day"! He might as well said what he was thinking, F-Off. I'm going to have all my Comcast services disconnected and will probably save myself $200.00 per month. read more

I went in to cancel my tv service but keep my Internet and homeboy came up with this crazy contract amount. It was over twice what I was seeing online. I said well then I want to cancel all my services and start up new Internet and he said I can't do that . He made some ridiculous story of why I can't do that so I called Xfinity corporate. The lady was happy to do it. The price was where it should be. While on this call, he was getting chewed out by his manager for lying to me. They were super helpful and gave me a credit on my account even though they couldn't fix the problem because Xfinity company is so incredibly ridiculous. The staff was incredibly supportive of the idea and did everything they could to fix my ID so they get a good five stars. read more

As a senior citizen technology confuses me. My cable bill, with another carrier, had reached a cost that I could no longer continue. Thinking that streaming would reduce the cost of television I discontinued cable. It proved to be too complicated. I had no idea that there was a Xfinity store that would help. A friend told me of it and an associate named Aaron Skoff. I went from total frustration in trying to get my questions answered over chat to becoming a Xfinity fan. Incompetent jerks work here! Came here 3 times in 2 days as customer support on the phone/internet is just garbage service from ppl in India who transfer u around until the system hangs up on you. Both times I came in I was given the incorrect username and told to login on my phone when at home. Low and behold it doesn't work! Shocking!!! I come back they propose the same exact solution - and it doesn't work. Customer service is non existent on the phone or online or in person - they really need to be bankrupted by the people in big tech. This garbage excuse for a company is a complete waste of time. This entire time that my internet doesn't work - I am paying. Is there someone to talk to about my dissatisfaction -NOPE. Customer service is all bots - who just want a yes or no answer. The people here just want u to buy things or get out of their face - this type of service should be illegal. Next step : filing a complaint with better business bureau. The employees will do anything and everything to get you out of their face unless you are buying something. Whatever you do DO NOT LEAVE THE STORE WITHOUT A RESOLUTION. The internet will not magically be reset because you go home and type in a link. If you dont have a username - ask for one - insist on the appropriate credentials BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Received excellent customer service at the Arvada Xfinity store! The store was very busy but I was greeted immediately and helped right away. I Had a backend issue with my account, that continued to be unresolved the multiple times I tried getting it fixed over the phone. Just overheard Javier one of their customer service" agents yelling at a probably 80yr old plus gentlemen telling him "It's not his job to explain to him what the Internet is" and that's "It's been around for 30yrs go take a class or read a book at the library". I go in the store and ask to speak to a manager. The guy in front said "I'm the store manager but you need to talk to someone else first. They can help you better than I can" What??? After talking to another person that was assigned to me, they basically told me, 'there's nothing we can do. Really? I find it funny and went home and spoke to an agent on the phone and she took care of everything I needed and more. That doesn't always happen on the phone but it did this time. I signed up for the top tier Xfinity Wi-Fi in my new unit and I was given a modem from 2019. I had to contact Xfinity multiple times to get this resolved and was told I would get a new modem (why didn't I get this in the first place) so I show up to this location 15 min after opening and I'm told I have to wait to be seen. I have my old modem ready to exchange and drive out to the store to be told to wait. Very poor customer service. Although we are ending our service with Comcast for that piece (still have internet), the employee was friendly and efficient. I have been a customer with Comcast since 2008. I currently have high seed internet, cable tv, and security. All of the services in which we use in my house and rely on heavily. Especially the internet. But besides that, I needed to update my services and equipment so I went to this location to do so. Javier helped me and was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I had my Comcast account suspended. I had called Comcast 800-no on 10th September and I had a very helpful and great agent named Mike from Minnesota. He had offered a mobile phone and advised my account was compromised and could not finished this transaction. He called me the next 3 days to advised my account had not cleared I went to the Arvada Comcast store on 13th September and spoke with Timothy and he advised the same. Went home and called 800 no for help,an agent from the Philipines called from security and helped to remove the 6 users on my account. Went back on 20th September, and after a long wait Timothy advised me it still has not cleared. When I advised him I was not happy with his customer service he told me he would tell all the other agents not to help me. Never had worst service anywhere before. read more

I am 74 and in 74 years I have never been treated so poorly by a business. The manager, Andrew Martinez, was very arrogant, unhelpful, sarcastic and talked down to me like I was beneath him. I walked in, and immediately was greeted and advised my wait would be 10-15 minutes. After 12 minutes Stephen waited on me. From his demeanor he was not happy. As I was explaining my situation, he was extremely annoyed and insulted me for talking while he was scanning the items I was returning. His temper was so abrasive I asked when he would be off shift so I could come back and get a different clerk. He was very abrupt and very uncustomer service oriented. At some point this store was a one stop shop for all customer service needs. If it was a technical issue, service request or hardware upgrade someone at this store could help you quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case for at least a year. Now it is all cell phone salesman who make no attempt to provide customer service, they just push for more (and more expensive) service. Not only were they completely unable to address my service issues but in sitting at the store for hours on end, I listened to them up-sell several people to packages that would balloon to several hundred dollars once the introductory price was over and I listened to one rep flat out lie to a customer who asked this very question. After several years of trying to provide good customer service, Comcast is back to its old ways. read more

We needed to exchange our Comcast TV box since we were downgrading a bit to save a little money. Tim was great. He greeted us at the door, took us right to the back of the store, went to get the new box, did the paperwork and we were out of there in 5 minutes. He didn't try to sell us any new equipment or services. I was able to hook up the new TV box quickly once we got back home. We live in Illinois, but have a small vacation home in Colorado. Xfinity will do anything to make you use their router and up charge you. Even if it means illegal and fraudulent activities, I stopped in this location and they did not even care about the actions of Xfinity. My router was not working and the technician told me it was broken and would never work. He then proceeded to set up the Xfinity router ($15 a month while mine is free) and after setting it up I told him I would not want to use it because my router worked perfectly last year with this company. And so after he leaves and he's on the phone with Xfinity my router starts working after he promised me it was broken. Which tells me Xfinity forces you to use their router so you pay more, but once I said no he finally sent the proper signal to my router. read more
