I was there on 5/28/2025 at around 18:20. I came for a modem/router swap, xb7 to xb8. A couple of days ago I already switched internet plans with a phone representative. A store employee made up a lie that someone changed something into my account, and basically made me sign for the same plan right there at the store. I agreed because I wanted my modem/router. The transaction took place at 18:26. I find these practices despicable. I dealt with customer service over the phone, and that particular representative deserved his commission. The guy at the store didn't deserve to steal his commission. Well guess what, I still went ahead and did it again on my own at home a day later, so the store boy is not getting his commission either. These young hustlers think they're smart or something. That was the most insulting part, to deal with his low IQ lies in real time. read more

I called corporate today in order to prevent wasting my time and resources before going to this location to upgrade my phone. The corporate representative i spoke to assured me that l would have no issues if I were to go in store to get my new phone, TODAY, however they were on completely different pages as this store. I wasted over 2 hours of my time and over half a tank of gas to get to this location from the Tampa area. And no they did not offer to repair the inconvenience their company has caused me. This could've been prevented on several different levels, like being able to CALL the location directly, or making use of CORPORATE TECHNOLOGY, to name a few . The customer service in this store was great. I had lots of problems transferring from Verizon to Xfinity due to a serious error by Verizon. Don Seaton at the retail sales center walked me through the problem, helped me find the solution which required a number of visits back to Verizon. Sunday, Oct 24th the 2 guys at check-in were way too busy to FOCUS on customer requests because they were watching the game. Another employee asked for the remote to mute the TV. Front check-in guy got angry refused to give him the remote while he was w/a client. Equipment was arranged for me to pick-up ahead of my arriving, again the check-in guys said no that is not how it works, I will need to meet w/ Tech Support person. After seeing 4 others come in pick-up equipment I knew this was wrong so I went back up showed them the emails, text and call log w/Xfinity. Kid was NOT thrilled however he angerly gave me the equipment. Said equipment does NOT work Xfinity is a MONOPOLY prices are outrageously expensive and I still have zero service after 33days! read more

I think Xfinity has gotten too big for their britches. An example would be if you need someone to come to your home. They automatically charge you $100 even if it's their equipment that malfunctions then you have to call billing to see if they will issue you a credit for $100. This is actually directed to Comcast/Xfinity Customer Service. I have been working to get Concast to my house since last summer. They had to first run cable through my yard to my house. After they completed this I asked for Comcast to install the service since my house has never had comcast before. I was told they would waive the usual $100 install fee. I tech came out to my house in Nov. He would not do the installation. I called again and they apologized and reset install for 12/4. After which I was not only charged $100, but I was charged $150. I have been sitting on the phone now for 1 HOUR AND 40 MINS. They have apparently decided to put me on eternal hold until I go away. I am going to stay on the line to see what happens. read more

The staff here is very rude. We noticed our bill went up approximately 50% and decided to stop by while we were out to discuss what happened. I held the door open for the man that was working and then handed him the things he dropped just for him to side eye me??? Then the girl at the check in was very strange to the point even my mother commented on it. I've been an Xfinity customer for home service for two years. Two weeks ago I walked into the Xfinity store on University Parkway in Sarasota and ordered two i-phones. The clerk there was a nice young man. He took down all of my information and we made an appointment for today - two weeks later to pick up the phones. I walked into the store at the appointment time, and the clerk that I spoke with two weeks prior, did not know me, even though I was in his computer to see him this morning. He said that deal expired, and they simply tried to do a bait and switch which I was not interested in and I walked out. However, my wife wanted to talk to the manager and we walked back into the store and he basically dismissed us and said that deal is expired. I would not trust anything an Xfinity store clerk has to say, they do not tell the truth. read more

All five stars go to Kurshlene Athanaze who was the rep assigned to me after some young man checked me in. (Checking was weird as it was self service tablet, but he was hovering over the tablet and took my name and checked me in---might make sense for the seniors, but I felt pretty capable) The stars are because Kurshlene reviewed my order and was able to give me the service I wanted (not what the rep said I needed) for $30 less per month---25% less. I'd like to recognize some excellent customer service from Zane S, who was checking people in on the afternoon of the 17th. Several people ahead of me were also waiting to exchange their cable boxes, as the person who normally did that was unavailable. I decided not to wait and returned 30 minutes later after going to Home Depot. The person was still not available, and Zane suggested returning shortly before closing as there should be no wait then. I returned at about 5:30 PM that day, and was informed by Zane that the regular person was still not available, but that during the afternoon, he learned how to perform the cable box exchange procedure himself, after seeing so many people waiting. He made the exchange and I had my new cable box and was on my way home in less than five minutes. So kudos to this young person who recognized a problem and took the initiative to solve it. read more

I wish I could give a negative number. This company has the worst customer services I have ever been involved with. I cancelled my service and was told a final bill amount of $310, but today I get an email saying I owed another $80 and that my auto payment didn't go through. I canceled everything including auto payment. I would recommend anyone looking for cable totally reconsider before getting involved with Comcast. I had an appointment for 3-5pm today. By 5pm no service tech had shown up at my home. I chatted and was told there would be a tech here 5-8pm. At 8 when no tech had come I called and talked to a customer representative. He said the next available appointment was 4 days from today. It didn't matter that I had an appointment but no tech had shown up. I was not a priority for tomorrow. The appointment for the next 4 days were full. I have had no internet or cable for a day and a half already. My no show appointment is just too bad and I go back to the bottoms of the list for the next available time. I spoke with a "supervisor" and she told me how sorry she was that no tech showed up but there was nothing she could do. I'd have to wait until the next available appointment in 4 days. As I was arguing with her I asked to speak with her supervisor and she assured me they would tell me the same. I insisted to be transferred and she said of course and hung up on me. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had the displeasure to experience. We will be canceling our Xfinity's service. read more

On January 16 I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Xfinity Mobile support. I have an internet and a mobile phone account with 3 phone numbers, one of which has no network service because it seems to have a faulty or corrupt SIM card. The support agent I spoke with yesterday said she could send me a new SIM card but said that it would be faster to go to Xfinity on University Avenue in Sarasota, FL to immediately get a new card and have it activated. She was patient and kind. BUT... as I am very sick in bed with acute bronchitis, I sent my husband with the phone and a note with the account details. The store employee not only refused to help him but said that Xfinity was just a little nothing, that he works for Comcast not Xfinity. He was EXTREMELY RUDE as well as unhelpful. So my husband came home with no new SIM card and my phone still has no mobile service. Now tomorrow in order to get this phone working I must leave the house against doctor's orders to go and insist on a new SIM card. This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I OR HE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Just spent 40 minutes driving here based upon advice of customer service to turn in/replace router.Cslled customer service- totally clueless & it's annoying that they keep apologizing for the delay - just give me an answer! Unbelievably horrible. I switched from Frontier to Comcast because I wanted faster internet service. I ended up paying almost double for Gig speeds and the best I ever got in my home was 300mbps (normally it was around 50mbps!) . I had a tech come out and they said "yeah, you're never going to get close to gig, maybe you might get 500mbps" Xfinity then charged me $70 for the tech visit, and over $200 to cancel my service contract. Do yourself a favor and just stick with Frontier (or anyone else in your neighborhood), remarkably better service and customer support. read more

Yesterday, I and my family visited this Xfinity store to look into changing my cell service. I had researched the deal that Xfinity was offering already. I was met by Lenz, an employee of the store. He provided excellent service and was patient with us in assisting us in transferring from ATT to Xfinity Mobile. All of us felt he was a credit to the company. This company has been overcharging us for many months for a modem that I returned. On several occasions, customer service agents have acknowledged this overcharge and promised to correct it and refund us any charges. My wife and I continue to waste our time contacting their service every month because the billing team continues to bill us despite the promises their customer service agents make. An older family member purchased an expensive phone from them, they knew she'd have trouble switching from an iphone to an Android, told her no problem, come in and they'd make the transfer (of course all this was before the purchase). When the phone finally arrived, she brought it in and they were rude, uninformed, bored, lazy--and she went home with a phone that had not been set up, that barely works, and without even a charging cable--to abuse an older person like that--I don't know how they live with themselves. This is a tech store where everyone on the floor on Saturday had a jaw-dropping lack of even basic technical know-how. We've been customers for years, but when this contract ends we're dropping Xfinity from every service we possibly can, and never of course buying a phone or cell service from them ever again. read more
