I have had Xfinity for five months now. For three months I had to beg them, yes beg them to take my money. After four months I was finally able to pay my bill. I'm in the fifth month now and I still can't get a voice security pin to access my account. This is the absolute worst customer service of any company in the country. This is by far the worst service I have ever experienced with a cable or satellite provider we have had the service for one year and it has never worked correctly the internet keeps coming in and out every day we have had 4 techs come out to the house to fix the service and I don't think any of them had a clue as to what they were doing , the service never got fixed and now since I got Hulu and Netflix Comcast decided they are going to rip us of by controlling and lowering the internet speed , yesterday we were at slightly above 25 mbps today we are at under 1.5 mbps as well as all last week we were at under 3 mbps but I am paying for 25 mbps , talk about ripping people off , I just signed up with Century link again we had them for 10 years and never had a problem with them or their service BYE BYE COMCAST I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE REFER YOU TO ANYONE !!!!!!!! read more

I have to give this store 1 star. I arrived simply to turn in my cable box & a few other pieces of equipment as our gated community switched to another cable/internet provider. My bill is paid in full and I am simply turning in the equipment. I was told to sign in. There were probably 10 parties waiting to pick out cell phones, etc. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked if I could just give them back their equipment. I was told if I wanted a receipt I had to wait. Other cable providers in the past had a dedicated place to turn in equipment with little or no wait. Needless to say, I now totally understand why our community of at least 400 homes is switching to another provider. Stay AWAY from Xfinity if at all possible. read more

Only wish I could give zero stars for service.....was promised the world and this is what I got: 1. New employee who cut through my water line within the first 30 minutes of arrival. 2. No paperwork provided during installation to show what service I received. 3. Due to no paperwork, the installer put in boxes that had no hi-def, no on-demand, but plenty of porn site channels so the kids can look at filth while scrolling for the cartoon channel. 4. When I called to explain that we had received the incorrectly programmed boxes, he said he would send out new ones immediately. No offer to pick up the old ones or reconnect the new boxes. 5. Every morning my internet goes out from 5am to 7am intermittently. It happens every morning. 6. When I have called to complain and would like an itemized copy of the bill prior to making a payment, this was offered. When I received the first bill it was well over $200. This was discussed upon the initial telephone conversation that we did not want a service that would cost over $180/month. With no premium channels, its over. And we get porn. 7. When I call to discuss my concerns over adjustments that have been promised me and they are not done, I am told by the payments department that due to my phone number being tied to an account that is not currently paid up to date, my calls will automatically always revert to the payments department and no one in billing will assist me until my bill is paid. THIS IS WHY I WANT TO SPEAK WITH BILLING. FROM MY FIRST STATEMENT THAT WAS INCORRECTLY BILLED TO THIS 3RD STATEMENT, NOT ONE HAS BEEN CORRECTED. REALLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO ONE HAS AN INDEPENDENT THOUGHT....JUST READ THE SCRIPT IN FRONT OF YOU AND SOUND LIKE A STEPFORD CHILD. We had an issue with our box and went to this store to exchange it. The agent that helped us was very nice, although we ended up having to return two more times to get everything working. The problem came when the agent told us she could lower our bill. The first thing I told her was I did not want to lose the big ten network (BTN). She assured me we would keep our current channels but the price would go down. Of course, after three trips to the store we finally got the cable tv working, but no BTN! Calling customer service means talking to a computer for 10 minutes before you can talk to a real person, but once we were able to speak to someone we were told we had to pay extra to get our channel. We now feel we were lied to and we are not happy!!! read more

Just all in all the worst company I have the displeasure of dealing with, I really wish centurylink was an upgrade but after dealing with them briefly it appears that Xfinity is the only other option, a piss poor option at that. read more

My wife and I drove about 20 miles from Port Charlotte to get info on penalties/transfer for our service which we had signed up for in the summer. We had since decided to sell our home and we're building a new one so wanted to check on availability at the new site. Last time there we were very impressed by a black girl who was pleasant and very efficient. Not seeing her there upon our arrival we were 'greeted' by a girl who looked like she was pregnant standing along side of another 'representative'. After a question or two we got the 'rolling eye' look by the pregnant one as if we said something wrong or maybe dumb in their eyes (dumb we are not) as answers by both were abrupt, short and insensitive. My wife was losing her patience and tired of the look down to and second class citizen attitude and I was about ready to lose it so I suggested we immediately leave before my real feelings appear but maybe my Veteran training kept me from doing so. I do know that these kind need to be in the back making coffee or better yet replaced (wonder how they were hired to begin with) in lieu of being in a position to 'help' the public. read more

I would stay away from doing business with Xfinity if you do not plan to stay with their stupid service. Make sure you are given full disclosure that there are some accounts that are not in contract. I was never given the option and when I got ill and had to move out of Fort Myers I was charged $100 cancellation fee and they refused to work with me and understand my situation because I was not military. No offense to the military but that should not be the only reason or way for a customer to get out a contract. I tried to move the service to where I was moving but their service was not in my area. They didn't care they just wanted to get the $100 from my no ifs ands or buts about it. Just be cautious when signing any contract (death sentence) with Xfinity because they don't care about their customers! read more

Comcast customer service sucks!!!!!! I closed on my new home about 6 weeks ago and requested for services to be transfer. They told me 10 days. I haven't heard from them for 6 weeks so I decided to call today to find out what is going on. They told me they had a contractor out there and says possible I have to pay for hookup. Ok! then why did no one call me. (Comcast) I don't know comcast doesn't really reach out, we wait till customers call. I'm thinking WTF!!! ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. I just want my services . He said he cant get in touch with contractor cause he offline and might be on vacation . Ok will someone call me back with more info. Comcast said no you got to call back. Worst experience ever. I was excited to go in and upgrade my internet speed, but we were not properly greeted by the black girl with glasses at the front named Katrina. She seemed mad at the world and at me for being happy, upbeat and for me saying hello to her and asking her how she was doing. I don't know how this store will make it with someone like that standing at the front. She belongs in the back with that ugly stankface that she presented us with today. Highly disappointed. I hope her manager retrains her on how to remove the stankface and at least appear to be half way friendly when customer's come in. Not sure if we want to go back into the office to pick up equipment to upgrade, especially if it means that we will have to see Katrina and the ugly mean look on her face. I will say that the Comcast internet product is awesome though! read more

We've been given the runaround by Xfinity/Comcast since my mom passed away two weeks ago and we've been trying to get her account settled. We've been on the phone via customer service and were told that we had to go to the store in Fort Myers on Dani Rd. to speak in person to the representatives at the store to switch the account to "next of kin." My 82-year-old dad went to the store to do this and was told by "Mike" that this can't be accomplished in person and had to be done online. Online/toll-free number says this must be done in person! Clearly, no one has their stories straight and doesn't seem to care at all. VERY frustrated, to say the least. Some of the worst account service I have ever come across. read more

Wow! what a nice improvement over the old building at Gateway. Very similar feeling to an Apple store. 2 Greeters at the door using ipads/tablets, asked what you need and after telling them I needed to return the old box/remote they asked if I needed a receipt and I was on my way. I was going in there expecting a "lee clerk" style layout with ticketing window etc.. The floor plan was spaced out and looked very clean/slick. excellent progress! read more

12/17/22 every since i signed up at this store there has been one problem after another. i have been customer 1yr, the latest issue has been no offer of a new renewal package, instead i was charged non contract amount of over $70.00 and i had already had a credit of over $60 for outages here in fl after ian storm. so, after i chased down someone (2hrs), who didn't understand what i was calling about, i was offered a package that increased my bill by $10 more a month for nothing extra! now i find out that they disconnected my "free" flex box without notice and refused to reconnect/activate it without me signing another new contract that would charge me $54mo, when i just signed up for $24.00 mo (with acp discount). why would anyone do that?? it seems xfinity tries to find other ways to charge acp customers to make up for the discount given. i maybe on a fixed income but i can read english! i have been refused over & over again to be allowed to speak to a usa agent, so all i get is same song & dance from foreign agents who are never traceable! i have no flex service for over 2wks. i spoken to 6 supervisor (7 with kim-id#q//x-today), 10 non us agents- no results! if you go in person they tell you that you have to contact customer service online or on the phone. they cannot make decisions, only appointments and new sign-ups! read more

Just recently moved here and i went in to open an account , it was a good experience because the person i dealt with first was nice. I came back and dealt with Debra the same day to get a replacement SIM card for my phone, she asked : why do you need a SIM card ? I said : because i lost my original one. Debra : why would you lose a SIM card ? It's supposed to be in your phone ! Like excuse me ? I swallowed my anger and sat there until the manager authorized her to give me the SIM card and told her to call their support team to put it on. I didn't have the phone on me because their customer service told me to just go in and grab the phone; she proceeds to tell me that no i cannot get the SIM card unless i bring the phone back. Rudest person I've ever dealt with in my entire lifespan of dealing with Comcast would be this person right here. Being in the sales and service industry for the past 10 years, i have never seen such a disrespectful person like Debra. Wow! read more

We went to the store and waited 45 minutes. The clerk gave us the wrong box after I said our TV is very old and does not have an HDMI cable just co-ax cables. She said it will work. No it did not. I Called Comcast and was promised a new box within two hours. After three hours I called Comcast again. They said they would ship a new box in three days and we would have to pay. That was not acceptable. So I called Comcast again and tried to get a credit on my bill but they said I had to return the old box first. I hung up on them. Don't ever try to call Comcast. this wasn't the first time I was promised something that didn't materialize. If I could I would switch to another cable company but there is only one in my neighborhood. read more
