She is a star.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]That stated, her company is much too bureaucratic, complex to deal with, and for the customer ( I HAVE BEEN WITH COMCAST for nearing 10years and loyal) much too frustrating to deal with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plus the company should be charged for the COUNTLESS HOURS ( now over 60 hours of my time since May) trying to rectify billing problems.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Note: there are many reviews from others that state BILLING is a major issue with the company. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tried to stay with them. I tried with Kayla to find solutions to stay with them. Terrible tiling on our TV all day. We are retired and we are told our only option for WiFi and cable TV is Comcast. Their over all professionalism tanks. Their customer service employees are rude and unprofessional and some times will just hang up on you. I have been a customer for three years and they treat me like I am trying to rob them. Always wanting more money. Always accusing me I owe them more money. Their app is over whelming and not user friendly. It is incorrect most of the time. It splits your bill where part of what you owe is hidden in another part of the app accumulating without your knowledge. A real nightmare. So I got Gabe, short guy with freckles? I think that's his name. He acts like he knows what he's doing but he doesn't. He charged me $100 for installation. Bottom line is they couldn't set up service to my new address, which is a brand new unit. So I was charged that amount without them being able to have a tech come out. It was just a big mess. I tried to dispute this when I called the 800 number but they too, are incompetent. They said the hundred dollars was for my old bill. Which it was not. Also the receipt I got for that visit had someone else's name on it. Like, wtf!! These people do not know what they're doing. I was so stressed out, but then I went to Metro/T-Mobile and got Internet that does not require a cable line. And it works beautifully. We have 3 tv's and phones running off it, no issues. So if you're having issues, I recommend paying $15 out the door and getting Internet that doesn't cause you stress. Because Internet should not be stressful ! read more

This store is not the issue although I've only been in there one time , it's the service it self..I'd have to say out of all service providers I've ever had xfinity is probably the worst service out of all of them consistently buffers, so slow I'm always holding my phone up in the air to get connection as if that makes a difference, it is affordable that's the only plus but I guess you get what you pay for.... Well we got 2 weeks of good service after sent several technicians out to our assisted living facility to work on the system. The problem has returned again and it is the exact same issue. At 7:30 PM every night the picture freezes or just goes to black and the message appears and says that there seems to be a problem with the connection, check your wires or restart your modem. Sometimes it will fix itself after several minutes but it just happens again a couple minutes later. If I could give it a half a star I would. I have been to the store several times and been treated rudely by not one. Not two but three people Michelle is rude. Peter is rude. They're both condescending. They are not helpful. They do not do their jobs they are on getting out of there on time that they cannot do their jobs. Michael the manager does nothing to supervise and please make sure they're doing their jobs. He's so intent on getting out of there, he does not make sure they do their jobs. He have the door locked at 6:35 when they close at seven. There is one good employee there Vincente, but overall I do not recommend the pelandale store in Modesto or Xfinity service. There was many times she would talk under her breath about customers and laugh at them calling them stupied if they didn't understand something. The guys that work there were nice but she isn't a very good employee. She will raise her voice at you as well as disrespect. Started service 2/28/2024, went back to turn service off 3/4/2024. Sales rep closed my account refund 60.24. Also told him please turn off autopay, sale rep said all done. So I open my emails. And what the heck they took out $75.00 3/20/2024. So I called took forever to get a human on the phone. I explain she didn't get and finally she got it. Pita in for all rescind. Just a email they only credited 12.95 to my account. The amount should be $135.00 Not only it was crappy internet and now billing is crap. So Pretty much I screwed Will never recommend them. Back in late January 2024, we were scammed by an inside Xfinity agent to the tune of $250!! And yes, we indeed called Xfinity's official number. We called to pay on an overdue account and the agent (who sounded like 'offshore') said he'd help resolve it for us. He asked for our credit card and even gave us a break on the overdue amount. He also said we'd get a 'new box' and that we would be able to receive hundreds of channels. That same day we got an invoice for $250 from a 'Cable Express Corp' in New York. And our Xfinity account was still overdue. We had to make another payment to bring our account current!! We've called Xfinity numerous times to report this and to get it resolved. Even sent pictures of the call record and invoice. We talked to their fraud department multiple times and 'case numbers' were created. They told us multiple times their staff would review the case and call us back. This never happened! On our last attempt, the rep said our case was being escalated to the highest fraud department and they would call us. We never received a call back! Beware.... Xfinity is a terrible company !!!!!! Customer Service is full of LIARS! I called and spoke with 5 different representatives. The last was Tandi in billing she told me that my bill was zero, that it was an automated bill that would be removed and I would get an email in 30 minutes stating that. I did not receive the email. I called back on Monday not one of the people I spoke with left notes on my account. The credit I was promised was not there and the Rana the representative I spoke with was not able to help me. She did escalate it to a supervisor Ted who called me back and he told me that there was no documentation that I had called before and he would not remove the charges. During our switch from metro by t mobile. We have encountered unresolved issue. As the customer we are the ones suffering. We purchased two Google Pixel 8 phones. One is active while weeks later the other is not. Both carriers are blaming each other. Hours and hours spent trying to resolve the issue with no end in sight. Port out issue. Xfinity mobile advertised this as if it was simple. I hope eventually they can hold up their end of the deal. Should have gone to at&t or Verizon. Customers beware. Nothing but a nightmare. When a customer shows you pictures of a message they are getting on their TV, take time to research it before just wasting their time by giving them the same exact item they are having an issue with when they walked in. So this is what happened to me, I showed them the message I got on my screen about having to upgrade my equipment...they quickly handed me the same old black cable box even though I told them that it was not going to fix the issue. Could not book an appointment because our phone was not working.... our reason for going to the service center .... this is the result of that fact we could not get support on the phone or on line because we could not confirm the last 4 digits of the credit card we used to establish our accounts .... both CC's had been replaced because they had compromised.... however they had been successfully billing us on our replacement CC's.... Comcast has the worst internet service around! The customer service agents trying to help is a hit and miss with professional help. My service goes to 5.8mbps while I'm paying for 100mbps. I just got charged $100 that a technician surreptitiously added to my bill when he came out to troubleshoot my wi fi. He did not inform me there was a charge, he replaced my defective modem, and said he didn't know what was going on with my wi fi connection issues except there was "problem somewhere down the line". Then I received my new bill with the $100 charge on it. I went to the Xfinity store on Pelandale to get the charge removed but was told they could only refund half the charge because "that's the way it works here", Yup, sure does. Rip off customers who only requested repairs on THEIR cable. This is only the tip of the iceberg...their internet service is sporadic at best. My husband turned in my business router and he asked for a receipt. They were busy and told him just drop it off and they would go by the serial number. I have been hung up on multiple times while trying to resolve an issue and nobody calls me back (Umm, you have my number, but I don't have a way to directly call the person I was speaking with!) smdh. I just had a lady named Yara (or something close) leave me on hold for 20 minutes, then take the phone off of hold, but forgot about me and all I heard was her typing and people talking in the background, so after another 5 minutes of me hollering I gave up and disconnected the call--- I lost an hour of life AGAIN because of the lack of care from Xfinity representatives. They were patient and understanding when my mentally disabled brother started crying because I had to take his phone away from him so that the agent could change the SIM card. Came in a month ago to change our plan after the price jumped $50 a month. I realized when the new bill came that no changes had been made. The first dmployee didn't actually change the plan, resulting in $100 in charges we shouldn't have to pay. We had to come back to the store again because you can't make any account changes on their crappy website, the website chat bot is useless, and phone operator scheduling was down. Yesterday, a different employee couldn't find the original order and said no comparable plans were available. He made no attempt to find a solution or escalate for support from a manager, even when we started the process of canceling both accounts we have. He actually asked if we were sure the person was an actual employee and that we could be lying about making the changes! Somehow it was OUR problem he couldn't find a match to the employee number of the person who made changes to our second account at a different property the same day. Which proved we were in the store on that date, BTW. (Hint: it's not a customer's job to police your store and make sure the dude in an Xfinity shirt logged into your system actually works there. But clearly he did and just wasn't any more competent than employee number two.) Looking forward to canceling two accounts after our AT&T install on Wednesday.
