I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the customer service i received from Raymond, the store manager at the location in Owings mills. I visited the seeking assistance with my account and spent approximately one hour attempting to resolve my issue. During that time raymond, repeatedly redirected me to several employees who were unable to assist me. He then contradicted the virtual assistant stating " that he didn't know what he was saying" which only added to the confusion and lack of resolution. Thought out our interaction, Raymond repeatedly emphasized that he had worked for the company the company for 20yrs. However, despite his claimed experience, he did not provide any meaningful assistance or take ownership of resolving my concerns. Instead, after hours of being passed between employees, I was ultimately told to contact customer service by phone. What was most concerning was raymond's demeanor. I found him to be rude, aggressive and condescending. Rather than treating me with professionalism and respect, he spoke to me in a manner that felt dismissive and belittling. As a customer, I left the store feeling embarrassed, distressed, and uncertain about how to proceed with my issue. I believe customers should be treated with courtesy, respect and a genuine effort to resolve their concerns. My experience at this location fell far below those expectations. Xfinity's pricing is predatory and based on promotional pricing so that they can jack up your price in an unreasonable manner. The customer service is extremely poor, I requested a callback and was put on hold. I am going on 7 hours of being on hold and at this point cannot hang up as I want to see how bad Xfinity's customer service can be. Do not choose them as they are taking advantage of their current customers. read more

I felt so bad for the few employees that were in the Xfinity store in Frederick, Maryland. There must've been 25 to 30 people waiting for service and mostly just to return equipment and they had to wait forever. The employees were very kind and tried their best. come on Xfinity. You charge us exorbitant rates and you want us to be your customers. Do better and hire more people and be good to the employees that are in your stores. read more

Sunday, July 17, 2022: My wife and I had a great experience at the Xfinity office in Owings Mills. We traveled to the Comcast Xfinity office in Owings Mills - 10132 Reisterstown Rd #20, Owings Mills, MD 21117 on Sunday, July 16, 2022. The Xfinity store had really convenient office hours on a Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. Our TV Box got fried when we lost power at the house during a severe thunderstorm that passed through the area on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. We went to the Xfinity office in Owings Mills to swap the box out for a new one. We were in and out of the store in minutes. The store is very stylish, spacious, open, clean, well-lit, and upscale appointed. A really friendly hostess greeted us as we entered the store. The store was not crowded, but there were a number of customers there. Yet we were seen by a customer service person very quickly. Our customer service person's name is Dante White. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He did not rush us. He acted as if he had all the time on the world to chat with us, yet in minutes he handed us a red bag with an upgraded TV Box. He walked us through the installation and activation process, and we were on our way quickly. It was a great experience. We had located the store on the internet. It had a phone number listed with the information on the store - (800) 266-2278. Do not waste your time calling that number. It goes to a central call center, and it is not efficient use of your time. Several years ago, we were really sad when the Comcast store in Westminster closed. The folks in the Westminster store were very friendly and helpful. The store was located in a central location in the county and served customers in Carroll County really well. Our customer service representative reported that he sees lots of folks from Westminster. The store in Owings Mills is only about 20-minutes from Westminster in a large shopping complex located next to Owings Mills Boulevard where Maryland Cup was once located. The drive was easy and effortless. The store is located very near - next to Wegman's - and a Cava, where we picked up our dinner after we visited the Xfinity store. After years of having Comcast internet and TV service, I hope to never-ever have to call the Xfinity customer service line again - after too many horrible user experiences. However, if I ever have a need for customer service from Xfinity in the future, I will look forward to visiting the Owings Mills store. Give it try - you will not regret it. read more

if i could give less than one star I would. the Owings Mill, Maryland store is awful. tried to upgrade iphone 11 to 15 and was told it was $40 per month and i had to upgrade our plan. just ordered an iphone 16 online for $13 a month and didn't have to upgrade my plan. this guy tried to rip me off to get more commission or a bonus based on plan upgrades. also i had an appointment and waited about 15 minutes until he finished playing on his phone. i'll never go to that store again. Just like Comcast/Xfinity itself, this store is a wonder microcosm of the lack of respect they have towards their customers and their hostile attitudes towards the folks who pay for their services. After making an appointment online for this Monday afternoon at 2:45, I arrived right at that time and walked in only to see a sea of people hanging around/sitting around, plus 3 people just waiting in front of me to talk to the persons at the desk. There were two people manning the desk, but only one was actually interacting with customers so I have no clue what purpose the other man served, but I know what he *wasn't* serving - customers. After making my way to the front of the line (the woman directly in front of me left almost immediately when the man working the desk apparently insulted her) with 3 items I was returning (seriously - that's the only thing I needed, I stop by and return three pieces of equipment. That's it. Should take about 3 minutes in total right?), I was informed that it would be a 30 minute wait. 30 minutes. Just to return equipment. Despite having made an appointment earlier the same morning. I'm curious what the entire point of having folks make appointments even is if they mean absolutely nothing? Regardless, after being told I'd have to wait a half-hour just to drop off their malfunctioning junk, I laughed and walked out. I'll stop by their location in Jessup on my way home from work this week instead. As if trying to deal with Comcast/Xfinity over the phone or through chat isn't always an ordeal in and of itself, going to this location is a quick reminder of why anyone who has any choice whatsoever avoids this corporation like head lice. read more

Please let Bryan know that his help tonight was amazing. Don't know when I got the modem that I never hooked up - almost turned it in. He showed me how to go to the app on my phone and what to do when I got home to activate it. My home phone has not worked in a few years. After many visits to the store and numerous phone calls for assistance / service, Bryan's help tonight was invaluable. I now have all three of my services working including my home phone line. I will be returning the old modem soon, but didn't want to chance not seeing Bryan to THANK HIM directly. Please share this with him. Waited an hour just to have my DVR box scanned for reactivation. When I thought my name was called I asked the Xfinity associate, Kendall, if he could repeat the name. He said I called William, not Williams the m's very rudely and condescending. He was very unprofessional. Another gentleman called my name and he was courteous. When I was at the counter, my name was called and I turned around to let the associate know that I was being attended to. I noticed that it was Kendall and when we locked eyes, he rolled his neck and bucked. I will no longer visit the Owings Mills location because the great customer service is non-existent. read more

I popped in here to return my cable/internet modem so that I can stop paying the monthly rental fee on the unit I was given as I have finally made the move and purchased my very own unit. The store was neat and clean. Wasn't crowded as I was there around 11:30 AM. The employees were pleasant enough, they greeted me when I entered. I was checked in and assigned to someone quickly. I did not catch my reps name but he was decent enough to not let me just drop off the unit and walk off, he asked if the customer service rep that helped me install the one I purchased explained to me the possibility of incurring overage fees since my particular plan did not have an unlimited data option. I told him that was not explained to me and he offered to set it up for me to take away the hassle of trying to remember how much data I use monthly and living in fear of a surprise bonus overage charge on my bill monthly. Although I hate when you go into a store for one thing and end up with the unintended purchase of something else, this was actually a welcomed upgrade to my current cable/internet plan as I am slowly moving towards cutting the cable cord all together but who can live without the infamous "innanet"? So no harm no foul here. With the removal of the monthly rental fee and the addition of an unlimited data plan, the difference was approximately $6 more, I'll take it! With the amount of smart tv's, smart phones, tablets, game consoles, computers AND a video doorbell in my home that ALL rely on the internet to function properly I think today was a win-win. Do yourself a favor and go to the Jessup store. I thought is was just me until I read the other one-star reviews about Xfinity at 10132 Reisterstown Rd, Owings Mills, MD. Hostility was the first thing I encountered when trying to swap my broken cable box there. The second thing was incompetence and maybe even out and out lying. They told me they didn't have a replacement cable box to give me and they would have one shipped to my home. This didn't happen and when I contacted Xfinity by phone to get one sent, they couldn't complete the order because the staff at the store had entered a placeholder cable box serial number on my account and from that point on, no other box could be issued because it created an error in the system. All 12 times they tried to order a new cable box for me, it wouldn't go through and not until 5 hours later did some smart person discover the serial number problem. I was told to go back to the store at Owings Mills where they had 8 boxes on hand and get them to issue me an actual cable box with an actual serial number, which I did. That's when I encountered more hostility and more lies. I was told by the staff when checking their computer that they couldn't find any order on my account and they didn't see the issue with the serial number as I described. They also told me adamantly that this Xfinity store at 10132 Reisterstown Rd, Owings Mills, MD "DOES NOT ISSUE CABLE BOXES...EVER...TO ANYONE." It became clear they were never going to help me so I left and called Xfinity again. They setup an appointment that afternoon at the Jessup Xfinity store where I went and encountered a pleasant, helpful staff who COULD find my order and the issue with the serial number, who DO, IN FACT ISSUE CABLE BOXES to their customers and who in 15 short minutes provided me with a brand new X1 HD DVR in a spiffy bag with extra cables to boot. Don't know if it's selective hostility at Owings Mills, but as you can see on this yelp page, it wasn't just me and it could be you. So do yourself a favor and avoid Xfinity at 10132 Reisterstown Rd Owings Mills, MD, go the extra distance to Jessup or you may be VERY, VERY SORRY. read more

Useless location. Overall Comcast is useless. We had issues with our cable box not working called India where all the customer care is located and the useless people told us we needed to go to a store and have the cable box replaced. they gave us the address and we ended up going to the Owings Mills location as told. when we arrived at the location which is located in Baltimore county they said they don't have any boxes for Carroll county where we live. the store advice is to come back in two days when the boxes will be in stock we did as directed and once again no boxes for Carroll county. Once again called useless Comcast customer service who told us they have them in stock at the store we explained the person who was clearly in a different country and English is a difficult language for them that the store directed us they do not and to call them and have one delivered. It took over 3 weeks to get another working Comcast box. The store has proven it's useless. read more
