We visited the Stonestown Xfinity store on a Friday afternoon to ask about international phone service, and we were lucky to be greeted by Steven--an absolute gem! He was cheerful, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, answering all our questions with patience and clarity. While reviewing our current plan, Steven discovered we were eligible for a credit that allowed us to add an Apple Watch and upgrade our plan--without increasing our monthly payment. What a pleasant surprise! We chose the model and color, and began pairing it with our existing iPhone 11. Since our phone wasn't updated, the process took quite a while, but Steven remained calm, professional, and supportive throughout. He never made us feel awkward about our older device--instead, he guided us through every step, including troubleshooting, restarting, and syncing. Allen, the store manager, also jumped in to assist with the pairing and upgrade process. Allen provided the new iPhone information to us with the detailed payment plan. Both Steven and Allen worked seamlessly together with other associates, staying past closing time to make sure every detail was handled. We were the last customers to leave the store. The staff here is always helpful and direct when answering my questions, which makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It can get pretty busy at times depending on the day and hour--especially during new iPhone launch days. I recommend making an appointment ahead of time or visiting right when they open to minimize the wait. I'm giving this place 4 stars because there's always room for improvement. Those who walk-in are also placed on the same list. Those who have appointments receive service first. This store has a good, consistent system of service. Everyone is well trained-patient, organized, and friendly. I have only come across smart, problem solving individuals. Keep in mind that these professionals are limited by corporate governances; gentle reminder-respect and pleasantries run both ways. Moreover, I negotiated a new monthly price with the staff, yet it is not applied to my next billing cycle at all. I am tired. They are short on staff at that location. I went on yelp to find stores near me and store hours. After reading reviews, I found great reviews for this store and to make an appointment. My appointment was at 11:00 am. We went in with minutes to spare and Jahid Miah called us over and boy was he a godsend. I was going in to cancel but he told me its best to transfer so my mobile service will not increase. He was just so knowledgeable and so helpful. I have worked in customer service for over 40 years--retired now and so I can smell bad service and get very critical because I take great pride in giving the best and spent years honing my craft. So, when I witness it or even receive it, you know I will be first in line to put it on blast. I even told Jahid that he made my day. Above and beyond--knew his craft so well he was able to explain the changes that needed to take place and how that I followed and understood perfectly, i have been with Comcast long before xfinity. I went in to pick up my WiFi equipment. I was told there was a line so i waited about 20 min for someone to help me. Once I was up I noted I wanted to pick up my WiFi equipment. The employee asked for my ID i said I don't it on me but can show a photo and can confirm all other aspects of my account. He said they can't help me without a physical ID and that i will need to come back with it. So after wasting an hour of my weekend with the useless conversation and getting to and from the store I went to pick up my ID and went to another store only to not even be asked for my ID. Extremely annoying and clearly just didn't feel like helping me. Picking up WiFi equipment shouldn't & doesn't require an ID. read more

I was the first customer a few weeks ago since generally this makes for less harried and better service. Plus I wake up early. So. The gate rises to a nice clean shop. Then troubles... The guy who talked to us, I will not use the word HELPED seemed to want to move the line along, except that there was no line. He punted to the 800 number where I wound up getting a better deal from someone who exerted just a bit of effort. Note to all in this store that effort requires no real skill. I will not mention his name. Among other things, an insider had told me that we should be able to upgrade our modem at no charge. He said it was not compatible. Well at this moment the upgrade is being shipped. I tend to avoid calls and kiosks to that locals can remain employed but for some reason this fails all the time. The staff at this store clearly demonstrate that they don't want to be there, and show disrespect for the customers. The reps act like they hate the customers (they probably do.) If Xfinity treats them the way that they treat their subscribers, I would understand why. They function like a scam company. On my first visit, I stood in front of a rep for 10 minutes while he was having a personal chat with a cute young lady. He seemed pained to have to help me. I wanted advice about the connection cables so that I could try to resolve an issue myself. I wanted him to show me the cables that were needed and explain the process. I could see that he didn't want to get his fat ass off of the chair to retrieve some cables to demonstrate. He groaned, rolled his eyes, and looked pained to have to do his job. The second visit was far worse. My relative shut off her service because it was so bad, and is owed a refund. I returned the cable boxes, but didn't know what else they wanted, so I brought all of cables. The rep (a female this time) was argumentative, dismissive, and disrespectful. She said that the refund (which still hasn't been paid) would be sent via a digital card. When I explained that my relative was quite elderly and didn't use such things, she rolled her eyes and said, "Well, that's just how things are done now," and didn't offer any alternatives. She got upset that after bringing the cables to another area of the premises, I said that I wanted them back, since I then realized that they were my relative's property and didn't actually have to be returned like the cable boxes. She virtually then threw them at me. My friend who was with me at the time described this as, "Being uppity at X-f**ky." If you want to save yourself a lot of frustration, don't use Xfinity, and in particular, don't use this store. This company is too large and unwieldy to provide customer support. And did I say that they still took a full payment from auto pay two weeks after the service was turned off, and the refund still hasn't been received after over one month? On line chat and phone reps lie and read from scripted verse. I've have to make complaints with the BBB, FTC, and 7 on your side. Please avoid like the plague! read more

Terrible customer service Went to check if i qualify for a free extension and all the lady did was read all of my past transactions claiming that I need to Pay certain bills and goes on for 30 minutes which then concludes into her claiming she made a mistake and that my account is ok and no need for any more payments and laughs it off and I was already aware of the situation but let her do her job i guess. she also claimed to have seen my family come in a few weeks ago and proceed to describe them as big curly hair people which yes i do have but continued to assume that she knew my whole family and kept rambling on about my sister, brother, mother , and uncle which nome have been at that store so I felt profiled at that point. I let her know that she has made me feel profiled and says oh you're just mad I cant give you a free extension. Which was not the case at all I was letting her know what she said made me feel a certain way. In the end i came out with nothing but frustration and no extension at all.
