Comcast/ Xfinity is truly one of the worst companies for customer service and customer loyalty. I called the customer loyalty department and spoke with Joleen. My conversation with Joleen ended with me receiving a quote with tax and fees of around $72.00 a month and I was offered a two-year contract at that rate for being a loyal customer. I agreed to the two-year rate and was excited about the reduction in cost. That is until I noticed that the reduction in cost lasted all of one month. I noticed an increase on my bill which was nowhere near the amount that I agreed upon. I contacted Comcast again and was connected to Jackie. I inquired about why the increase in my bill and she stated that the promotion had ended and I was now at a new rate. I asked Jackie how it was possible for me to be on a new contract when I was in a locked two-year contract? Jackie stated that I was giving a discount and that it would cost me $210 to break the contract that I currently had in order to leave Comcast's excellent services. She then ended with; "Thank you for being a loyal Comcast customer." This unfortunately is not the first time that I have had billing issues with Comcast. Jackie's solution to bring my bill to the agreed upon rate was to lessen my services so that I might lower my bill. This option was appalling to say the least. I was told that I had a contract for 2 years and not a discount worth 30 days. It's rather obvious to me that I am currently using the services that I currently have or else I would have called to delete the services in my original conversation with Joleen. I was informed that my contract was for the services that I currently had and not for a reduction of anything that I am currently using. Heaven forbid that Comcast/Xfinity, as a company, should stand by their word and honor their original commitments. Why should they when they will net an extra $576 over the next two years? Do yourself a favor before signing up for an extended contract with Comcast. Don't! read more

I've been to this location 3 times in September and my issue is still not resolved. The people that work here don't know what they're doing and they don't care about the customer experience or their time. Each time I was polite and nice and each time the reps that helped me were slow AF and or promised something only their manager could do would be approved in a couple of hours. The last guy I dealt with just kept repeating the same thing to me in a frustrated condescending tone. He lied to me. What he said would be fixed in a couple hours, wasn't. Calling reps on the phone isn't much better but I recommend that over going to a store except of course if you have to turn in equipment. TLDR do not go here! Another has been tending to the phone cases on the wall...because those take more priority compared to the customers waiting. I've been with Comcast for a lot of years and never had a serious problem and always loved there service and friendly people..until this week I was gonna go with the ring security system until my friend told me Comcast had a security system cheaper, so I made an appt. for Tuesday and took the day off which I lost out on 80.00 dollars!! So Monday when I came home I saw a sign on my door that said sorry we missed u xfinity ..and I was surprised because that's not the day I scheduled! So I called Comcast and asked and they said they don't know what happened but the promised they would be there Tuesday on my scheduled day so between 8-10 ...so I waited all day and no one showed up !! So I called again and Comcast said they don't know what happened.. and I set up another appt. and I said are u sure there gonna show up and Comcast said yes so they were right guy showed up and said he wasn't licensed to put in cameras .. then he said theres a guy in auburn he would come put in cameras so don't worry and I said ok but 1hour later auburn guy calls and said he isn't licensed either !! so I called again so angry and then proceeded to make another appt. for Saturday because I really wanted these and I told the lady 3 times to please check that u are sending the right people to install these cameras and she said yes ma'am I am !! so Comcast guy shows up again and guess what wrong guy again so all week I wasted my money and time and still haven't got the cameras yet !! I am so disappointed in Comcast terrible scheduling department!! I felt really bad for the poor Comcast guys who had to come all the way to my house for nothing such a Waist of there time also ! This store is clean and staffed fairly well. My problem is the communication between their corporate center and local store. Their offers are not the same. I asked them to make a note into the account so that I can just go to the store and confirm and pick up the equipment. When I get there, the rep tells me something different to get me to agree to a higher price with channels I don't need or want. If there was another broadband provider other than Xfinity or Century Link, I would switch in a heartbeat. But Century Link is even shittier. When you are looking for a new place, definitely consider the broadband provider in that building. read more

I went on a Saturday evening to swap my gateway/router and was greeted instantly by the receptionist, who took my name and the reason I was there and was asked to be seated. About five minutes later, my name was called, and the agent retrieved my new gateway/router and had it bagged up for me pretty quickly. After reading some of the reviews, I was apprehensive about what my experience would be, but it was totally acceptable. I also expressed that I was having trouble setting up our new sound bar to the cable box, and so they scheduled a technician to come help us at no cost. I got out of there in less than 15 minutes. I went here a week ago to see what I could do about lowering my cable bill. Terrance was AMAZING!!! He lowered my bill by over $40/month and locked it in for two years! Not only that but he was super nice and funny! Can definitely tell customers come first for him. I went back today to drop off my equipment. Worst customer service! Returned my box and remote back to this store. I explained to the lady at the counter that I wasn't sure if my account was cancelled, and asked if she could check in the computer under my account info. She said that I would have to take a number and wait.. (there were at least 7 already in queue. Politely asked if she could just quickly but know insisted I had to wait.. (the wait is approx 33 min). Pleaded with her if she could check...to no avail. I leave the store go to my car and call Xfinity after talking, confirmed cancelation. It took 3 min. I walked back onto the store and said, "I just did your job"...-she said it wasn't her job to call.. Really? This is customer service. Worst of the worst, my husband and i have been there few time, the wait is alright; however the way they treat the customer with a very rude attitude. Well, we always pay them every month, and their internet always slow, some time on and off. I even pay more for a higher speed for the internet, and it's still the same way. Comcast is a perfect example of a corporate business model. Only care about profit margin and not the customer. Comcast is very quick to add 5$ or 10$ to your bill, because times millions, that's a lot of extra cash in a fat CEO's pocket. Every time I call technical support, I get an under paid person from India (to increase profit margin, and avoid excellent customer service) then they make my girlfriend to her account each time, even though We've had the same account for over a year when I bought our house over a year ago. I think the goal on there end is to make it as hard as possible to get any help or changes to your account. I'm going to look into other internet providers. FYI I'm looking forward to YouTube TV taking over the cable market, way way way cheaper, and no hidden 5$ 10$ fees to make the fat CEO richer, plus no contract. read more

I went in to pick up a second receiver for my bedroom. No wait. Professional service. I got a complete package of receiver cables power supply and remote in less than 15 minutes. A 10 second phone call from set up location activates the receiver. Comcast has really stepped up their game. read more

If you can avoid using Comcast and by proxy Xfinity, save yourself the migraine and do so! They might be the worst businesses I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. I recently moved my family to the Seattle area and we needed to get internet set up for my line of work. The first installer they sent out couldn't find where the cable ran into the house and said we needed a survey team to come out and find the line. Before the survey team came out, another installer was already scheduled to come to the house and I had to tell him that we were still waiting for the survey team. (he was totally clueless about what the first installer had said, 0 communication between departments I guess) The survey "team" was one guy and needed my help to pull new cable through underground piping. After all that, the installer they sent out after getting the new line to the house was rude, would not listen to me, completely unprepared to do the work, and totally clueless about the previous attempts to get the cable working. But he did get the cable internet and cable box set up. BUT now were having connectivity issues between our devices and the modem. Called tech support, which was a nightmare in itself, and they concluded that the problem is due to the location of the modem in the house. Their recommendation to fix the issue was to purchase their xFi pods (at a "cheep" 120 bucks) and use those to extend the wifi coverage in the house. The tech directed me to the Xfinity website to buy the pods, which I did. The day the pods arrived, I downloaded their app as per the instructions and ran the setup procedure multiple times with no success. Another call to tech support hell and after an hour of doing the exact same procedure over and over again, they concluded that the pods were defective and would need to be replaced. Instead of sending me new pods, which would have been the right thing to do at this point, they tell me that I have to take to pods to an Xfinity store myself and get them exchanged there. So today I took an hour of my time to drive across town to the nearest store, wait 15 minutes to talk to somebody only to have them tell me that because I ordered the pods online, they would not exchange them there and that I would have to wait for a shipping label to be mailed to my house and ship the damn pods myself. I am absolutely astounded with the level of incompetency displayed by this business. I would have already canceled my service plan but they are the only cable internet provider option in my neighborhood. I am praying for Spectrum to come save me. read more

Positive experiences are few and far between. All too often Comcast team members will change the internet speed, price, or explanation of fees at whim. Just as an example, I was told by one staff member that there is a fee for not activating my Xfinity bundle cable box while another told me there wasn't--with no paperwork to back up either claim. This happens all to often and is symptomatic of this ISP giant. While many locations don't have any other option, go with a local ISP whenever possible. read more

Had to go back in go back in to exchange our equipment and I asked for the manager. Who then said she was too busy and I had to wait. Currently dealing with an over charge issue with this company. I purchased a weekly access pass for $18.95, yet I was overcharged about 15 times resulting in nearly $300 taken from my bank account, plus over drafting fees. I have been contacting Comcast/Xfinity costumer service (which is exceptionally horrible). It seems absolutely no one knew what service I was talking about when it came to the Hotspot service, some people would not answer my questions or even try to. It took 1 day for this company to withdraw nearly $300 out of my bank account. 4 days later and I'm still dealing with a refund process, that has hardly even begun. No one seems to know the phone number for corporate, nor have information to whom I can contact for an effective process. I'm blown away, and not in a good way...obviously. read more

This young Asia girl call the name & we came up she didn't even pull our account up at all. Need she said the customer service department wasn't right also she said that we were on contract & we would have pay late termination fee plus she said call the loyal Department. Also the girl didn't even wanted take are cable box so we can down grade our service. My wife call them today the 21st of January & the customer service said we were not on contract at all & we can down grade since that what we wanted to do. read more
