Visiting the XFinity store in Tukwila (Strander Blvd) is akin to shopping at an auto dealer. Sales rep can't make any offers or determinations unless he checks with the manager first. We explained that we are on a fixed income (retired) and were returning the cable box, remote & other paraphernalia as the cost of cable was simply to high to continue the service. After going back and forth, we were offered a much, much lower/slower operating speed rather than the set up currently being used. The download speed probably wouldn't operate my Fitbit watch let alone streaming TV. Needless to say, we weren't happy with the service provided and managed only to cut $50.00 off our bill. We will be looking into other internet services. read more

I'm very unhappy with the service provided on Strander Blvd in Tukwila re: Infinity Wireless. I responded to a great promotion-I would be paying quite a bit less for cell phone service. I would have to get a new phone free as long as I kept the service for 2 years. Fine. The phone was to come to my home address via UPS. I told the rep I'm seldom home & asked if I could have the phone delivered elsewhere. He asked the manager. The answer was no. After 3 attempts to deliver (& sign for) to my home, the phone was sent back. I completed an online request the day before to have the phone delivered to another address where someone was all the time. UPS ignored my request. I called the Xfinity rep. He said I'd have to contact UPS & ask them to resend the phone to me. He said the special promotion had ended & that now I'd have to purchase a new phone & pay a higher price for service. I argued that they should extend the promotion to me because it wasn't my fault that the phone was returned via UPS. He didn't seem to care-would not help me. Meanwhile my phone service is with Xfinity Mobile. I have worked on porting my phone back to my original carrier off & on for 2 weeks. Still not done. Xfinity Mobile is making it almost impossible to return to my original phone carrier. I've spent a lot of time working on this. Also, I call 611 & get Xfinity phone reps who speak poor English. I have to say over & over "I can't understand you. Please speak slowly, distinctly". Xfinity Mobile is a nightmare. No help whatsoever. The staff was super nice but I bought an apple watch to be delivered to my home due to them not having it in stock. The staff told me a few times it would be delivered in 2 days. A day later I get an email stating the delivery date will be Sept 4th not the 2 days Aug. 31st. I would have gone to a different store and got my son's apple watch in person if I was not getting it in the 2 days like I was told. I'm kinda pissed about this. read more

I started a new service this morning and was told to go to this store location to pick up my new wifi box and cable box. I was greeted by a heavy set white woman who was very very rude. I waited almost an hour and others walking in were being helped NOT even with cable but with cell phones. I was there to just pick up my boxes. Instead that heavy set white woman was very rude. I couldn't believe a woman like her is in customer service. She shouldn't be in the front of the store. Her attitude was completely unacceptable and specially to new customers of Xfinity like myself. I complained to the 800 # Comcast and I cancelled the service. I told that racist, very rude white woman at that location that because of this ridiculous attitude and treatment of a potentially new customer and having to wait an hour just to pick up a box is unacceptable. That xfinity heavy set woman didn't care that a new customer is walking out. That is unbelievable. People like her are too ignorant to see and know how to keep clients. The people who work at this particular store are all great, my review has to do solely with the fundamentals of the company itself. After my grandma passed, we returned the equipment to this store. They gave us her bill and an "early termination fee", we didn't mind paying for the last month of usage... but early termination because she's passed? It felt like an extra stab right when our family is dealing with the loss of my grandmother. We felt the company didn't care for our loss and was more concerned about the $50 than the customers. I hope they can change this experience for future families as it's very insensitive. read more

My wife went to Xfinity in Kent yesterday to swap the box out. They said they were going to send us a new one which never came. The pictures and dialogue were out of sync. All I wanted to know was whether or not we would lose the recordings we had if we swapped boxes. We could not get a straight answer and were told to download the App which I did not want. The manager then came out and said they should be safe and in the cloud. After checking we could only see the last 4 recordings. We asked if it was possible to check if the older ones were there. After some consultation the Manager and staff said the best thing to do was to 'google it' and find out that way. Really what hope is there when staff are this badly informed ? I have been with Comcast for 10 years and expected a lot better than this. read more

However, I am very pleased to inform that this particular Comcast branch is, well stuffed with knowledgable customer service representatives, and little to no wait (might change after this review lol) I have been a Comcast customer on and off for 20+ years, and other that my recent experience at this location, I used to get a tummy ache just thinking I had to go to one of their offices. The other pleasant surprise was how easy it was to move my service and equipment to my new house, last time I had to wait almost 2 months for them to show up, now, I just plugged in the equipment and made a phone call, all my services were up and running in less than 3 minutes. read more

Just about the only way I can receive competent, pleasant service is visiting this location in person and I have one lady I'll wait for. Otherwise, I've been hung up on, disconnected, sent off to some other number, in short, jerked around for hours. Most often I'm connected with someone who does not speak or understand English and refuses to be agreeable or even try to understand my issue. It's a blinking monopoly from a company that spends untold $$$$ on ads and zip on decent customer service via the phone or CHAT line. If it were not for the fact that, in Seattle getting a signal past the hills/valleys is impossible and my wanting even basic viewing, I'd trash this behemoth of bad service. I HATE COMCAST XFINITY!!!! I'm cutting the cord real soon. The buttons on the remote for my cable box have mostly worn out. I tried calling Comcast to get a replacement but it is impossible to get through to anyone. I can't even leave a voicemail message because all numbers I tried are either "not working at this time" or the voice mail box is "full." Seems the only option would be to drive all the way to either the Northgate or Soutcenter Xfinity stores, which is a problem as I am currently unable to drive due to a vision issue. Have not had Comcast/Cable service for over 20 years due to lousy service and misleading information. We have clearly posted "No Trespass" and "No Solicitation" signs on both sides of our driveway and on the only gate. Come home to find a 'Ask Me What Has Changed' card from Greg Burch, XFINITY Territory Executive. Clear disregard of trespass and solicitation notices.
