I had him work on my old mobile account to new account!!! he will tell you what you want to here not fix the problem bran works at the Venice store.after the work was done. he told us our New account price bill will be 95.00 around a month . He said. Everything is fixed. November 26th we got our bill and it was 146.82 a month . He didn't do it the right way. ! So if you don't want to get screwed over don't go see Bran in Venice. Phone rep credited me when he heard my story and checked it. yet I received another bill this month. They are unorganized and inefficient with billing. I'm writing this review for my 86 year old mother in law. Barbara lives in Englewood and basically uses her TV for news and an occasional animal program. She needs the internet to remain connected to family but doesn't need fast speed. She also uses a landline as she cannot figure out cell phones. She's on a fixed income and is being charged $203.00/mo for 125 channels that go unwatched. Xfinitys only other option is a 10 channel lineup that is basically CSPAN & HSN and a couple of other crap channels I've never heard of. Xfinity has no compassion for the elderly. They recommended I get the xfinity app, requiring her to buy smart tvs. She's got dementia and has sometimes reached for her remote to make a phone call, I hardly think she can figure out a smart tv. For these reasons I give xfinity one lonely star (and even that is too much) read more

We've been Comcast customers since the early 90's, but we are switching to AT&T today. We've been paying for 300MBPS for a few years now, but have noticed our internet has slowed down and we're having issues with movie streaming. Speed checks show anywhere from 15-80MBPS. I have been put thru the wringer trying to get this fixed and have spent hours on the phone with people that can barely speak English, and that's IF you can talk to a real person. I was promised a new router was being mailed to us, but one never came. A service call was scheduled, but the person never showed. Now that they're finally open, I went to the Xfinity store and waited nearly an hour to speak to someone. Came home with a new router and an HD box for one of our TV's. Got the router going and it's humming along at 87MBPS. . Tried to hook up the TV box, but there was an issue with it. After spending an hour on the phone with support, turned out I was sent home with the wrong box. Only reason we have tolerated the poor service is because we have a Comcast email address that we've had forever and we didn't want to lose it. I found out yesterday that we can cancel Comcast and keep our Comcast email account. Headed to Costco this morning to speak to the AT&T guy that's in there peddling their product. read more

Currently in Fla. watching the Green Bay- Arizona NFL game on my iPhone because the broadcast on Prime has buffered so much that the game is actually at 13:07 of the 2nd quarter while the Xfinity showing is stuck at :32 of the 1st quarter. Ran speed tests and is at 101-104 download. Don't know what is causing the constant buffering. In the past, I've been "looped" back and forth when calling their customer service, so I don't bother anymore. I wouldn't recommend Comcast to anyone. aweful experience with Aliyah and Trent , went in to report fraud on my account that's been going on since April Aliyah was u friendly and look annoyed she held her arms cross her as if I was a waste of time and then proceeded to tell me her managers were both in a meeting and when I refused to leave till I spoke with one of the managers she asked me why I was so aggressive lol I said I'm not aggressive just assertive there is a difference I was not yelling or throwing profanity but dI'd NOT like her customer service and she lacked compassion . she said well I am leaving at 6 I said I'm not staying here to see her, I asked to see a manager then Trent came out told me he would discount the return checks that equal 50.00 since they were trying to bill somone else's card he also tried to insult my intelligence ! I asked hi. to close the account since it was hacked and we do not feel safe since they were charging us 25.00 every time they tried to bill someone's card that wasn't ours . he said by cancelling the account t we would loose our previous claim b cause it's like we are starting fresh with a new account - Aliyah hadn't mentioned any of this before she closed our account I was irritated again and Trent looked at me and said " you need to be an adult and pay your bill " I was flabbergasted with his insult I clearly started a claim had proof on my phone I also have the emails with the claim number looking back but he was such an asshole me and my 11 yr old son left we will be going to corporate and gulf gate the Venice office employees I dealt with were very disrespectful Aliyah was in a hurry and Trent was completely out of line ! read more

The poor customers are left stuck outside with barely anyplace to sit down. Many are old and can barely walk. They are generally tired of the long wait. Once inside they are treated really harshly by employees who are exhausted by the constant complaint customers. It's the companies fault for not making the wait reasonable and the employees trained to be nice. Their phone Customer Service never affords you a live agent unless you hold for 30 minutes or longer. The equipment has proven to be unreliable. In two years I've had 3 technicians visits for defective service and on one occasion they tried to charge me $100. Furthermore, I'm on my fourth TV cable box. In spite of these issues, they are loathe to offer a credit for your inconvenience. They believe "I'm sorry" is enough! When pressed, I was given all of $3.82 for an issue that lasted all day. As an aside, Xfinity is persistently political and you can't avoid it if you watch any TV. Use anyone besides They are a poor value for the service they offer. Use anyone else. read more

I had a broken cable to my tv. I went to the store which was crowded and had a employee signing people in. He realized he could solve my problem in about 2 seconds by grabbing me a replacement cable,which he did. Saved me a long wait while not inconveniencing people in front of me. Over the last 7 months, I've been thru the ringer trying to get internet with Xfinity but Andrew at Xfinity Venice helped fix all the issues. We'd been going round and round while they handed me from one service agent to the next, each one more appauled and frustrated with the over the phone service I'd been getting than the last, till I finally gave up. However, recently I came into some money and was able to financially tackle whatever the company demanded from me to get internet set up and running. But there was NO WAY I was going to sit on the phone and repeat the last 7 months with the company so I ran down to Xfinity Venice, spent 90 minutes with Andrew sorting thru all the issues & finding the many, many ways everything had gone. I'm home now, have internet & wifi and could not be happier with the extraordinary service he provided. I will NEVER call Xfinity again - instead, I will make the 30 minute drive (on my scooter, in 5 plus MPH traffic) to resolve any further issues in person bc I know I will be handled with kindness & respect while we doggedly get to the bottom of things. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. To treat customers so poorly is bad enough, but Venice is a community with a lot of seniors. This Xfinity location does nothing to make the experience easy on customers. They do not allow online appointments so one just has to sit there and wait for hours. Every seat in that place has a sad or mad person occupying it with many others standing around. There was no monitor to indicate where you were in line upon check in. They did offer to text me 10-15 minutes before my name would be yelled out so that we could run other errands and come back in an hour or so, but they never texted. When they finally did yell out my name, I got the RUDEST female service person I have ever dealt with. She refused to discuss options and prices in advance. I intended to bundle internet, tv plus add ons, and home security--a pretty good amount of money for the company. She refused to even possible bundles for new customers and prices. She was so rude and I could tell she was reigning herself in, perhaps because a supervisor was right there. I WOULDN'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY IF THEY WERE PAYING ME! And as for that horrible "customer service" woman, she needs to find another line of work because she is totally unsuited for this one. read more

I bought a new cell phone from Xfinity Mobile. It was defective. Calls to my phone were "dropped" when I hit "answer." Some contacts could reach voice mail; others could not. The ringers went to "0" so I did not know when I got a call. The Xfinity technicians tried for 3 weeks to fix it but could not. They tried a new phone. Same problems. I asked for my money back. First, I had to go to another carrier (T-Mobile) for a new phone in order to keep the same number that I've had for 30 years. I did so. T-Mobile technicians found that the problem was not with the phone but was caused by Xfinity. I then went back to Xfinity. Xfinity told me to get a refund, I had to go home and print out an email from Xfinity with a Quick Scan attached. I was then to pack up the phone and charger, take it to a FedEx facility where they would print out a mailing label and send it to Xfinity somewhere. Xfinity would then examine the phone to determine if I qualify for a refund. I paid for and received the phone at the service center, it did not function properly, Xfinity could not fix it. I should be able to take the phone back to that same store and get a refund from that store. Xfinity also said they could not use the QS they sent me because "they can't accept a QS provided by the customer." I walked out. Also, the "service" center doesn't open until 10. You must then sign in and wait 2 -3 hours to talk with a technician every time you stop in (I've been there a dozen times). I've sat there for approximately 28 hours and I'm still at Square 1. Xfinity should operate like Home Depot and Walmart - Money back, no questions asked. read more

Just moved to Venice and signed up for Xfinity. We were given a control box that is surely out of date or second rate. Couldn't record shows well and couldn't find a way to watch them after recording. All of the company's online instructions were for a different model box, even the YouTube videos featured a different box. The newer box is very easy to operate and record. We had Spectrum up in Manatee County and I must say it is FAR better -- as far as sound and navigation visuals (the Xfinity 'guide performance and channel listings are horrible and poor quality type font). We had Xfinity here two years ago and I don't think we had many issues. Now they are closed until August 28th. Thanks for listening. read more

Totally unprofessional store and service. Many low tech businesses (think Walmart deli) have a "take a number", and a slightly higher tech business (think Dominos Pizza) posts a video display so the customer can see where they are in the queue. No employee dedicated to accept returns and swap outs which takes only minutes. These customers have to wait and wait and wait while the sales people go on and on with their pitch to other customers to buy equipment and services. No signage to tell customers how to get into the queue. We all stand around wondering how it all works. Got issued the wrong equipment twice and malfunctioning equipment on the third visit, and today just gave up after an hour of waiting. Still no TV, but still paying! And hire more reps. Ridiculous to have 20 customers sitting and waiting and waiting to be served. read more

No customer service. The Xfinity website is designed to get you into the store. At the store they have no interest in addressing your needs; they just want to sell you promo stuff. I am so glad that I did not sign an annual contract with this place. Sent me home with a used modem that didn't work. I asked them if they test the products before they hand them out.They said no. "That would entail hooking them up and that would take too much of their time." So it cost me two days and two trips to the store to get the service that I was just billed for. Had to go back and wait 30 minutes again for another modem. The receptionists were unprofessional, commenting on the shopping habits of their customers. read more
