Service does not have as many outages as a while ago. Billing and customer service is not so good. Bills are increased at any given time. They change your balance on you. They will not work with you. Goodness! There are so many bad reviews for this place yet I am one of the few who has had no problem with the customer service or experience here. My router seemed to be going bad and after trying resetting, recycling and other troubleshooting it was decided that I needed a new one. This location is close, convenient and quick. I came here, old router in tow, and was greeted by someone who entered my name into a smart pad and took the old router. They gave me a ticket with a number and put a matching ticket on the old router. There were only two people ahead of me so I must have come at the perfect time of day. There are several chairs and stools for sitting while you wait. The "lobby" area has a huge TV with a very clear realistic looking picture. Your name is displayed on a monitor above that shows the order in which you will be seen. My wait time was less than ten minutes and the lady who assisted me in replacing the router was friendly and helpful. She said there was a new, updated router available and switched out the old one for the current model. I was given a receipt and a number to call for activation and assistance if needed. There is no charge for switching routers. I was out in a timely manner and on my way. The new router is fine and I have no problems now. I suppose I am lucky where Comcast is concerned. I can only speak for myself and my experience here was quick and efficient and no complaints. read more

I have nothing to against this store. However, I do have something to against this devil company. Comcast currently running a monopoly loop throughout Sugar Land area. Other areas have better internet speed for less cost because they have competition like ATT, Verizon, Comcast, Entouch. In Sugar Land, you have fewer choices which is Comcast, Clear and a lesser known Internet Service Provider(ISP). No national ISPs such as ATT, Verizon, and Warner Cable are able to come in Sugar Land because Comcast are paying the mayor to keep them off. That being said, Comcast is raising the cost and lower the bandwidth. I been a customer for 3+ years because I don't have a fucking choice. read more

I stopped by the store to pick up a cable box. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the manager and given a number. I waited about 15 minutes on a busy Saturaday morning before helped by one of 4 Comcast associates. I told the associates what I needed and was done in 10 minutes. I was surprised how effiecent the process was. read more

Went in store to activate a phone Dylan helped me on this particular issue. Once I left the store I realized it wasn't fully functional. I then returned to the store and was service by Cornel he was a good help but the problem still occurred. This is where I got mad because it's has been a day without a phone. Try more options failed. On the 3rd day I returned to the store and lets just say I'm keeping it PG5 by saying it was the worse experience ever. I was greeted by a lady so rude and was concerned on nothing I was saying. She sent me to Amy the worse person in the store. Amy connect one iPhone to the other iphone hotspot and said the problem was fixed. I have been to this location many times. While not crazy about the rates Xfinity charges, I have had nothing but good experiences with this actual store. This location is often very busy, but the wait is reasonable and the employees have always been helpful and friendly--even when returning product due to leaving for a competitor. read more

This is not about the store but about the advertisement for triple play services. It all sounds great $129.99 for TV, internet and home phone services. By the time you're finished the monthly bill is $215 and the 1st month's bill is $497.00. I expected some additional cost for extra TVs and 2 months of service but almost $500 is ridiculous. Worst. Company. Ever. Truly the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Can't wait to cancel when my contract is up. We pay more than $500/month for home security and television and internet services, yet our channels have never worked properly and they have no idea why. They just keep charging us for services we aren't getting (like recorded shows and on demand) and telling us they don't know how to fix it. That's fine, I could live with that. But this morning at 9 AM our alarm started inexplicably blaring. My mother was coming home from a serious surgery at noon, so I called right away to have someone come out and fix the blaring noise throughout the house. It makes the downstairs almost inhabitable and I've had a terrible headache all day. Seriously worried about permanent hearing problems at this point. Plus my mother can't rest. Anyways I call every couple of hours and they promise to send someone out within an hour or have the local people call within the hour. But no one ever comes or calls. Finally I call and they say there is nothing they can do, we will have to go on all night with our alarm blaring, that someone will come tomorrow. They have had since 10 AM to send someone out! Now it is almost 8 PM. We might have to go to a hotel. We are trying to get in touch with a private company that can do something so we don't have to relocate my mother to a hotel, as she can barely move. Zero customer service. Zero understanding. Comcast customer service is extremely bad. My internet was so slow and wanted to cancel the service. They transferred me to retention department. He saved me by sending tech to my house. I was ok with it because I couldn't go to any other provider. Then he transferred me to tech support who was third party. We were on the phone almost 2 hours and extremely tired. He scheduled me on Sunday 8-10am . I was waited and waited no one showed up without a call. I calmed myself down and called. 1st customer service rep told me that he saw an appointment on the system(tech support). He couldn't answered my questions. He placed me on hold without telling me anything(so rude). Suddenly, billing rep answered my phone and he said that I had no appointment. I was so upset and asked him what was going on. He placed me on hold again without telling me(2nd rude again). He transferred me to tech department. I was so upset and asked for supervisor who was useless. Finally tech came out and checked outside he couldn't find any problem. He wanted to charge me if he came to my house. I refused it. I pay my monthly bills on time never missed any payments. I have had Comcast / Xfinity for going on 16 years and have had very little to no issues with their service. Tehy have been always willing to help and have even looked to see if they could reduce my bill when I call in for an issue. All in all they have the best internet out of any providor out there and the TV packages are equal to better as well. The people behind the desk are insanely bad. Most of the problem is Xfinity itself... the difficult to understand pricing tiers are all over the place, the equipment is complete junk, promotion pricing not available for existing long-time customers, etc. But, the people at this store are particularly incompetent and downright deceptive. The Ken Jeong looking guy at this store is especially rude. He didn't want to help, so he gives you a phone number to call, suggesting that they can give you a better deal, which turns out to be the Xfinity main number and the call center is utterly perplexed as to why you were directed to them... a huge waste of time. Obviously, these guys are incentivized to push product and services on you and when they figure they can't make a commission off of you, they punt. Well, where to begin with this company and this location. I will try to be brief and stick to THIS particular instance of dealing with Comcast "customer service". This past week, the cable in our downstairs area went out. After trouble shooting on the phone, we determined it had to be the cable box, simply because we installed the upstairs cable box in its place and it worked fine. So, we were told to go to the service center to pick up a replacement (another refurbished machine). After waiting an hour to be helped, we took the "new" cable box home, hooked it up (which we've had to do several times before with their sorry equipment) and yet another POS machine did not work. Did the phone troubleshooting AGAIN only for them to suggest it was probably something on our end (other than their equipment). Well, again we unplugged upstairs, plugged it in downstairs. Wow, that box still works downstairs. In the meantime, the agent (overseas) thinks it is necessary to send out a technician to determine what is wrong. We go ahead and set an appointment with the intention of going back to the service center first. So, we take the POS back to the store. We walk in and I ask the young girl if I could speak with the manager on duty. She indicates there is no manager on duty. I said, OK, whoever is next in seniority. She replies, there is no one, everyone here is on the same level. Seriously??? Did she really say that? I tell her we are there to get a replacement for the piece of crap they made us wait 1 hour for earlier in the day. She told us to sign in and I indicate we are not waiting to receive a machine to work. We already waited for the day. She says we will wait and I continue to say we will be seen right away to get a working machine. She wouldn't give me any idea of how long it would be or how many people were ahead of us. In the meantime, another young girl approaches and proceeds to say you will wait. Just sign in and we will get to you. I get more angry and loud and instead of taking me aside to discuss our needs/concerns, she cops an attitude of her own which infuriates me even more. She says, "I'm going to have to ask you to leave". Seriously, I pay $200/mo. (for your bundled services) and you are going to ask me to leave???? There is no customer service at this point. I walk away from her and go to the back, put the machine down and tell another lady, I need a replacement machine and we are not going to wait long again (you shouldn't be handing out bad equipment). She was helping someone else, but basically said the same thing, you'll have to wait. I'm trying to figure out who is on staff that is available to deal with a replacement machine (based on our previous 1 hour wait). Come to find out, the second young girl (I found out later from the nice young man who wound up helping us) was the "person in charge" at the time; although we were told everyone was on the same level. Hmmm...we had watched her standing behind another employee (as if overseeing him help another customer) and also walking around, not assisting anyone one on one. She couldn't help us get the replacement and get on our way?? A few minutes later, she brings over a young man to assist us. He took us back (away from her) and apologized to us for having to go through the crap with the bad machine. He sympathized with us for having to make phone calls that didn't help and the lack of compassion and respect for the customer. He acknowledged he reacts in a similar manner with customer service issues he faces on his own and completely understands. I had asked the girl earlier when I was quite heated, how do I know the replacement they give us will work, since this didn't. She indicates there is no way of knowing. FYI-they don't trouble shoot the machines on site for you. They send you off with refurbished units. I tell her again, I will not come back a third time and wait. And, she basically said, YES, YOU WILL. WOW!!!!! Once we finally got the help we needed, the young man said, if for some reason this doesn't work, come back in and ask for me. I will get to you right away. I don't want you to have to deal with this again. And, he said he really hoped we got a good machine this time and didn't have to deal with this anymore. He had witnessed my angry, loud voice, so he got it. I could read he was trying to convey a message and even gave us the manager's name in case we wanted to contact her when she returned. That is customer service. It's too bad they aren't all like that. He's managerial material, not the two clowns we had to deal with earlier. Horrible place and company to deal with. We are now looking to switch back to our previous provider. This company is HORRIBLE and most of their employees don't care about the customer.
