On last Thursday I was locked out of my iPhone - I went to the apple store and they me I needed a sim card to gain access to my phone. I went over to the Verizon store and was greeting by Reggie. Reggie was jovial, knowledgeable, and very patient. I went back to apple and they still could not fix it - the following day I went back to Verizon and luckily got Reggie again! He literally sat with me, called apple support on his work phone and walked me through the steps per apple support instructions. Have people trained and authorized to handle simple account issues in the store. I mailed in two unopened brand new phones in May. It is now August and I still have not received a reimbursement. Called customer service 4 times, escalated issue twice, still no reimbursement. Verizon store employees and managers say their hands are tied and they can't help. Verizon customer service says they will continue to escalate, but still no money has been returned. Verizon has both new iPhones, and they have my $2000. I'm currently on the phone with a supervisor who says she will escalate this to her 2nd tier. Now she says she'll go all the way to escalate it to the 3rd tier...how many bureaucratic levels do they need just to give a simple refund. Verizon has great cell service, but so do other companies. I had to switch to T-Mobile from VZW a while ago bc where I moved to has poor VZW coverage. But I called into this store bc I needed an old VZW bill of mine emailed to me. For this simple task, and even though they still had all my info and email address on file, they have me a HUGE runaround... I have to call customer service, I have to get my father added to the account by calling customer service (which I tried, but customer service wouldn't do that), they can't print, they can't do this, they can't do that. I was like "Why can't you just "print to PDF" and email it to my email address that you have on file? They had no answer. I doubt they know what "print to PDF" means. After both my father and I wasting an hour each in person and on the phone respectively, we still could not get this simple task done. The bureaucrats erected one obstacle after another, and got some sort of "victory" by making our lives difficult, instead of helping us. I have no idea what the bad reviews are about. There was a bit of confusion when we got there since the door is locked for security reasons, they have to buzz you in (they could use a bigger sign saying simply"Ring Bell"). But we were quickly noticed and were let in without ringing the bell. I got acknowledged as soon as I got in the door and was quickly attended to as soon as an agent came free. The location was busy and everyone being attended to looked relaxed and I didn't have to wait long. Stro was the agent helping me. I had an outdated plan and was looking for a change. Stro was very thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, and patient about discussing the plans, their features, and their benefits. He showed me the comparisons between my old plan and the plans Verizon currently offers. I was able to choose a plan that saved me money over my current plan and came out still saving me a few bucks even after adding Netflix and HBO/MAX. I was under no pressure to buy anything else, just a helpful suggestion or two that I easily declined. I also upgraded my iPhone 7 to a 15. I was going to go with a 13 until he showed me the cost difference was a minuscule $30. I went for a bottom of the line 15 and was under absolutely no pressure to get anything better. That went as well as the plan upgrade, smooth and easy. To top it off, Stro was supposed to get off at 7 PM and stayed an extra hour to make sure my phone transfer went smoothly and get me started with the streaming services. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to deal with. I would do business again with this location and Stro in a heartbeat. I wanted purchase a phone worth it $1,000 at this location. First none of the 5 employees ask if we need help or anything like that. Second, I was looking at the display phone I wanted purchase and I really wanted it see the quality of the main Camera but since the phone has the camera blocked by a security device, I asked one of the employee ( female) that I need check the main cam's quality her answer was to "flip the camera" meaning that check the front cam which is not the main one. I had to argue with them to not add it then once the purchase is completed I get an email that says not only did they add insurance after I said NO they also added other perks on my account I didn't ask for. Nope. I dislike this place. Unfortunately it's the only Verizon in the area. One time I went (for my husband's phone) and the lady was nice and helpful. Very friendly and got us in and out quickly. Recently i had to go because I needed a new upgrade. I like old school Samsung (think 7). When we walked in a guy asked us if we needed anything. We asked if they had any Samsung 7. He said no but I could check out the Samsung 9. Well duh. I could do that without your help bro. So we walked around looking at phones, none of which I liked. I was pissed because I had to settle on a phone I didn't like but when it came time to actually talk to someone and get the new phone, the guy from before was gone. There was a group of workers by the front door all on their phones. We asked if one could help us and one....begrudgingly because why actually work while you're at work....said he would help. We told him the one we picked but again asked if they had any 7's because that's what we actually wanted. He went to check in back and holy-moly-wouldyou-look-at-that, he found a brand new Samsung 7 in the box. Now we're pissed at the first dude who lied to us, but he's still no where to be found (maybe hiding behind a desk somewhere). The guy started setting up my phone (which is pretty generous wording because he just turned it on and put it back in the box. Nothing else. He put the protective screen in the bag and my husband had to ASK him to put the screen on. Pretty sure we were charged $15 for this guy to do it for us. The guy must have done it wrong too because the edges are peeling up already (and this isn't an edge). I wish I didn't have to go to this location. SO FRUSTRATING. read more

I have been to this location several times. And not once have I experienced terrible service. I am always greeted with a friendly smile when I enter, and someone is always there to ask me if I need a assistance. Security(a police officer or two) is always on site, probably due to the fact that thieves are getting desperate. So you always feel secure. The location is great, it is right off of the highway and highway 6. So getting in and out is not a problem as well. The store is a pretty large and open. The atmosphere is welcoming and there are seats available for you as you wait. But like most people, you will probably be playing around with all of the different gadgets they have available. Finally, this is my go to Verizon store and I have also referred friends to this location. Ask for Mike James. I honestly don't understand how this place has so many good reviews... the customer service here SUCKS. From the moment you walk thru the door it's ALWAYS a group of male workers huddled by the door, just standing there.. I usually go to the Verizon closer to me on Highway 6 but they were closed- so I decided to go to this one since I was almost at my deadline to bring the phone back... HUGE MISTAKE. I walked in and told the guy I wanted to return the phone that was bought as a gift and cancel service..He said we don't do that here.. I said ummm I can't cancel Verizon service at a Verizon store...? He looked at me, told me to stand by the counter and he'll be back. Another issue that I didn't quite understand was that the Verizon where I picked the phone up from, places their "sticker" on the opposite side of the box. So I received so much "push back" about returning the phone for that reason.. I asked to speak the manager and the rude as sales associate, said "You can wait" walked off to the back and slammed the door... after an hour when the manager was finally available- she decided to bring up the sticker issue. At that time, I was pissed. I told her "That's not my issue, maybe it needs to be sent out in a corporate wide PowerPoint email on how to place a sticker, but I have NOTHING to do with that..." We were not even greeted for 15-20 minutes. All the reps were with people but they were not busy in general. I grew tired of waiting so i asked to speak to a manger and a lady said i will get someone over to see you and she did nothing. I finally had to grab someone while i overheard them were finishing up. He signed me up then said i was the next in queue. I then waiting about 15-20 mins and never saw the man after that. Another man called me up and was not very informative in his answers and was not very helpful. I would rather give my business to another verizon store. I won't return to this location. They are always giving us the run around and it takes forever to make simple transactions. Tried to return a phone case that we bought at the store and they said they need the order number off the paper receipt. We left that at home but he saw the purchase and everything but told us we had to go home and get paper receipt. Really! Everything was right there on our account. Called the 1 800 number to get the order number he kept asking for and they were like they don't know "why" they can't help you all. I've always experienced such friendly help and good efficiency at this location no matter what I stop in for. Located off the freeway in the heart of Sugar Land, the location is convenient for anyone in the area. The parking lot has a few turns and feels cramped in some places although parking is fairly plentiful. There are usually two security guards on the premises even though the store what I'd call safe. Extra security is always a plus, anyway. It's a small store but they do stock most accessories needed and can help you order or locate any items that may be out of stock. Everything is clean and well organized. The employees are very pleasant and not pushy. I've been able to browse items with ease and not feel pressured to buy. If I don't find an accessory online I can usually find it here. I've never had a long wait or any hassles. I recommend checking out this store. read more

We switched from Tmobile to Verizon because they had a promotion. My wife and I traded in both of our phones, iPhone 11 Plus, to get the new iPhone 14 Plus. We were supposed to get a $1000 credit for each, but when we received the bill, we noticed that they had only given us credit for one phone. We went to the store to ask what happened to the other phone we gave them, and they were giving us a runaround. THEY SIMPLY STOLE OUR PHONE, A $1000 VALUE. YADI was the mastermind. Although, he managers who happen to be all black, are far more worse than the obnoxious employees they have at this store. If they don't want to talk to you or resolve your issue, they always have a deputy (a watch dog) to kick you out or threaten to take you to jail. This is how wild and out of control this store has become. An iPad also was part of the promotion that we never received. We really got cheated by theses charlatans. read more

We've had good experiences with this store. We bought two new phones from them (Samsung S8+). The guy transferred all of our info from the old phone to the new phone. No issues. The following week, I gave my daughter my old phone (which was newer than her original phone). They transferred everything over for her without charging her. No big deal you say? Well, these guys get paid a commission. So, I'm assuming the guy helping my daughter didn't get anything out of it. I'm going back today to get an accessory for my phone. The only issue with this location is trying to get to it on a Saturday. The traffic in the area can be really bad. read more

So, my new phone has a screen cover that cracked. I got the new one. Decided to go to Verizon to ask if they will put it on for me. The guy who greeted me was a trip. Instead of saying "sure no problem". He shakes his head and reluctantly tells me that as a courtesy they can try but if it goes bad they are not responsible. I am not asking them to take responsibility. However, the woman who helped me, JU JU, was a delight. She had the whole transaction done in 2 minutes.
