Really great hand pulled noodles! I have come a handful of times and most times the noodles are really good! One of these visits, though, my noodles were a tad mushy and overcooked. However, usually they are very consistent! Warning that the spicy option is quite spicy (as someone with a fairly high spice tolerance). I have also tried Roujiamo but the bread was rather dry. I skip these and order the noodles instead. They moved locations to a larger one across the street which is nice. Overall, I would recommend! read more

Due to having second large room, was able to get seated quickly at lunch on Saturday despite a nearly packed restaurant. Ordered 5 items on tablet and got them within 15 minutes. Came here to eat with two other people. The interior of this place was clean, and the people working there were polite. The restaurant had some sort of big screen/kiosk that you could order your food at, but some of the listings didn't have any pictures of the dishes. Food overall was alright. I thought the hand-ripped noodles I ordered were decent and chewy. My friends ordered the thin noodle soup, and we all shared a salad appetizer and cold noodles plus dumplings. They weren't particularly impressed with the dumplings though. When we came in, we had to order water for extra charge on the kiosk. I was a bit confused since I saw in other people's reviews and pictures that the restaurant had water stations available, but maybe we were just unlucky and came in on a day when they were unavailable? The hand pulled noodles are a classic, you can get them with a variety of proteins and the spicy cumin lamb was a delicious option. Spice levels are customizable and you can get extra toppings of your favorite. Service is self service, there is a kiosk to order from and stations for utensils and water. First off, the food is spicy even for my little spice master - it was a bit too spicy for him. It has a nice kick to the small bowls of food. Personally not a fan of the small plastic bowls for dine in. Order at the machine, find a table and wait for your number to be called. I've tried the spicy cumin lamb noodle soup, mt qi pork noodles in pork bone soup, spicy pepper chicken noodle soup, fried sauce with pork noodles, the braised beef noodle soup, and the pork dumplings. I recommend medium level spiciness! But, for those who can't handle spice, just get mild. The service here is speedy! There's a kiosk and you can either order on that or talk to the employee at the register. They usually have your food ready within 10 minutes! There's a self-service water fountain where you can choose between hot or cold water and you can also pick up your utensils and napkins there. The interior is bright and has a cute/chic vibe. There is plenty of seating for lone diners as well as for groups of people! Here's what I think of each (in order of most to least favorite) mt qi pork noodles in pork bone soup: SO TASTY! it tastes like an elevated chicken noodle soup because it comes with carrots and celery. It's slightly sour but, it's the perfect tanginess that comes from the pork marinade! it's my go-to because the flavors are so deep. there's also diced mushrooms and cilantro and everything comes together perfectly! it's a comfort food for sure! pork dumplings: the dumplings themselves are pretty small in size but, the dipping sauce that comes with dumplings is TOP TIER deliciousness!! i recommend at least trying it once because the flavor combo of the sauce and juicy dumplings makes for an explosively yummy experience. braied beef noodles soup: the broth is crazy good. comes with bok choy and cilantro. The beef is tender and has some gelatinous parts in it! I think its slow cooked for a long time to get it tender! spicy cumin lamb noodle soup: generous portion of lamb, lamb is well cooked (doesn't taste gamey), and the soup is also delicious, but not as deep in flavor as the two noodle soups I mentioned above! spicy pepper chicken noodle soup: I had this extra spicy and that was not a good choice because it was too spicy to fully enjoy. The broth was similar to the lamb one in terms of depth. It's pretty one dimensional, nothing special! The chicken was not too dry but, I would not recommend getting this one because it's underwhelming! fried sauce with pork noodles: This comes with a fried sauce that is made with bean paste and it has more of a sweet flavor. I prefer my food to be savory/salty so, it was not my favorite! It was actually the only one I ordered that I couldn't finish! Because it's a fried sauce, it's on the oilier side so, I found it to be heavy! Would recommend getting some kind of carbonated drink to cut through the grease if youre gonna order this one! There are cucumbers in this dish so the freshness helped cut through the oiliness of the dish but, I didn't really like the taste of warm cucumber which was sitting on top of the hot noodles. read more

Xi'an Street Food is a relatively new spot, taking the place of Mango Mango occupying the same spot previously. The food is very different compared to Mango Mango, but the interior is so similar. They kept the seats and style of wall painting that shows what food they have, so the ambiance is very similar to Mango Mango. There aren't any servers - you order up at the counter and it's brought to you. I got one of the pork "burgers" and some of the noodles. The noodles were super good, but the pork burger (it's not a burger in the traditional sense) was just okay. Pricing came out to be pretty fair and service was good too. One of my new favorite places in ctown! The noodles are tasty and are made right in the store! You can see the chefs make them behind the counter. Service is very fast too and it's reasonably priced. I like to order either the N3 or N6. Both are great! I also ask to make mine extra spicy but you can request no spice as well. The decor is very similar to what Mango Mango used to be which makes sense since it's occupying the same space.
