I haven't been to any Chatime locations and been disappointed with their formula. On this visit, my friend ordered #2 Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly and I got the Wintermelon Iced Tea also with Grass Jelly, the flavours are rich, strong and just the right touch of sweetness! Like any of their locations, you can adjust the sweetness and ice levels - so just ask their staff for recommendations. I was told it's only been open for a few weeks, so the place has that brand spanking new shine and cleanliness. The staff were kind, bright and helpful! We didn't have time nor space for the Bakecode desserts, but now that we know there's a Chatime in that area - we will definitely have to come back!

I did a search and found Lucky Tea and CoCo nearby. We decided to try Lucky Tea. I used Google Maps to get us here. It was bad. It told me to park behind Btrust Supermarket. Sure, we had stuffed ourselves at the all-you-can-eat hot pot and needed exercise. I wasn't expecting this much of it! We walked around the supermarket until we found an entrance. We then cut through what felt like the largest Asian supermarket until we got to the other entrance. We then saw Red Lotus Restaurant with a sign for Lucky Tea. Lucky Tea is located on the right when you enter Red Lotus Restaurant. No one was there, so someone at the restaurant had to fetch a female staffer to help us out. The digital menu looked good. However, when we looked at the physical menus, half the items were unavailable. My friend got the lemon yakult. I went with the supreme grape. Both are fixed as far as size, ice, and sugar levels go. I paid for both our drinks, as I owed my friend money from the hot pot. The woman had to fetch the payment machine so I could pay with a credit card. Once the machine was in front of me, I tapped and all was good. We watched this woman make our drinks. She was skilled and efficient making them. She gave us straws. We thanked her and left. My friend enjoyed his lemon yakult. He finished it as I drove us back to work. He liked how the yogurt complimented the tart lemon. I got the grape supreme. It's yogurt with grapes and ice blended together. I enjoyed it immensely. It's not my typical drink, but I'm glad that I went with it. I didn't realize hours later that I'd end up with a stomach ulcer. The yogurt in this drink likely disguised some of the pain and symptoms that I had. It was interesting seeing the World Tea House seal on our drinks. They are likely related. Now that I know where this tea place is, I'd go back and sample whatever is left on the menu. I ordered the Tofu Milk Bobo, Lucky Ovaltine and Red Oolong Milk Tea. The Tofu Milk Bobo was silky smooth and creamy. It's very authentic to what I expected it to be. The Lucky Ovaltine is a nice drink to have to beat the heat. I like how they lined the cup and topped the drink up with even more Ovaltine. The Red Oolong Milk Tea was a bit weak in my opinion. He said "Yes". while looking down and preparing a label/doing something for a takeout order. If a Customer is standing right in front of you, shouldn't you be taking their order, not putting a label on a drink? Anyway, cashier was just preoccupied doing something else and just walks away, saying that he'll be right back. When he finally comes back and scans my App, he says, "Oh, you haven't made a purchase recently...I can't give you a free drink. I can only give you a drink if you buy one now on the App. The bday drink is not for new customers." Wow. I took a walk downstairs and saw their tea shop was opened with floral arrangements outside for their grand opening. In the front of their store, they have a sliding door with a display case of fresh fruits. They share the main entrance with Sushi Rock, but like many shops on Yonge and other teashops in the area, it's a take out place. The teashop decor is very clean and spacious for a take out location. I really like how they had the sliding door opened in the front so their staff can get fresh air too. My friend whose been to their teashop highly recommended the mango pomelo yogurt drink, so that was the drink I ordered today. The drink tastes amazing! There's also a lot of toppings! There's mango, pomelo and mango jelly in there. I will definitely return to try their other drink selections.
