Located inside a home kitchen in Watts you will find the best Palestinian food in Los Angeles. We…read morehave been here three times now and every time we start eating our food we immediately laugh and say to each other "this is so good." This last time in, we ordered the Rice bowl with falafel, the pita wrap with halal chicken, Zataar fries, mint lemonade and the karak chai. I don't know how to explain the taste of everything other than to say think of anything that you have tasted that was similar and just multiply that by 10 as far as freshness, flavor pop, texture, and cooking execution. The falafel was crisp on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside, not oily and not dry. The sauces were all so very well balanced. The Zataar on the fries was so fragrant, salty and flavorful and the fries were fresh out of the fryer, warm and crispy. The halal chicken had this smokey almost birria flavor. Very earthy and natural. Like nothing I have ever tasted. The drinks and dessert are all amazing. My mint lemonade had fresh mint and hint of floral orange blossom. So refreshing. The karak chai had cardamom, saffron, ginger and cloves. It was like going on a flavor rollercoaster in a good way. The husband and wife team could not be nicer to you. All smiles all the time. They came out multiple times to check on us and talk to us. We definitely felt welcomed like family. Such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Just can't say enough about this place and how they run their business.

Life changing is all I have to say about this meal. Went to the Eid feast where Chef Summer…read morecollabed with Chef Heidi and prepared the most amazing Palestinian and Sudanese feast. Let me tell it to you this way: I abhor feta cheese; I've never had lamb that I liked that wasn't gamey; and I loathe mint in my food. And the dishes with those ingredients were some of my FAVORITES. There is so much love that goes into these meals and they are so well balanced and so flavorful. And do not even get me started on the homemade pita bread - life changing. I've also never felt so welcomed and comfortable eating somewhere that wasn't my own home.

I was able to place an order after messaging @MidEastEats on TikTok. They were quick to respond and gave me a link where I could place an order for pickup. They were very transparent about estimated time, in case you are ordering baked goods. My order was ready quickly on the same day with short notice. I ordered the Falafel Tacos and the Falafel Nachos. And they were both so amazing!! I will say that the Falafel Tacos were my favorite. I had been eating falafel these past few weeks and trying at home, and these by far have been my favorite eats!! Next time I would probably order three orders of the two falafel tacos to split among my partner and I. I will be wanting to try their Spinach Fatayer or their Manakeesh. I do wish I ordered more, because i don't think i will be able to find such good tasting food unless I come back. They also offered us the option to eat at their home restaurant, which I would gladly do next time if I weren't in a rush. I will have to try their private dining experience, this food was amazing and Sumer & Andy were extremely nice and pleasant to be around.

Definitely one of the best falafel meals I've had in LA. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside but not at all dry. And those fried pita chips? oooof! Love that everything is vegan, so no sacrificing/omitting of ingredients was needed. Ask for it spicy with all the extras if you're a real one. The owner Sumer was super sweet and welcoming. She took the time to explain the menu items + ingredients and answer any questions we had. Will definitely be back!

But they are stationed at LaChancla night market and there's so many delicious menu items to choose from. I ordered a Al Pastor burger with Parmesan garlic fries. The burger was so flavorful with the melted cheese and everything else they put in it, so was the fries very tasty. The service was just great friendly and courteous. My burger was humongous. The atmosphere is also great. There's usually live music to enjoy while spending time with your family eating delicious food. I'm looking forward to going back real soon. There's indoor and outside dining. There is plenty of parking with handicap stalls and ramps to help those who are not as able.

I had enough sauce, cheese, mushrooms and grilled onions to dip my fries into. Sooo good, even the fries by themselves. It was a little pricer than your average burger but well worth it. Might try the pasta next time.
