This was my first visit to this salon. I called ahead to book a "volcano" pedicure. What a beautiful, clean looking space! I particularly appreciated the lack of a tv. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and they go out of their way to make sure their clients feel pampered. Once seated in the chair, I was brought a menu for a complimentary beverage. The frozen margarita is yummy! There is no picking a color from the bottles on the wall here, they bring a nice book over to choose colors from. The supplies for the pedicure were brought out on a pretty gold tray with flowers and a candle. The entire experience was elevated and enjoyable, and my tech, Andy did a great job. I come here every 2-3 weeks to get an acrylic fill with gel polish, and I get a pedicure every other time. Tracy is always there to greet you with a smile while she works. I've loved every set I've got here, they are good at doing every design I have asked for too! They give you a complimentary drink and have a couple of TVs playing cute videos etc on mute to give you a little entertainment if you're bored. They also recently updated inside, so it's a cute little place to relax. Definitely recommend checking them out! read more

I had my nails done on the 11th of December by the 21st of December all the gel polish was lifting call the shop over the phone yes ma'am just come in but once I got their and service started it would be a 25 polish change fee. When I went to this nail shop, I was left soaking my nails for about 35 minutes, but no one checked on me the entire time. I asked twice for help, yet I was completely ignored. Meanwhile, a person next to me got their service done and left, and I was still sitting there with my nails soaking. By the end, my nails were starting to shrivel, and all the Gel-X had already come off. At the end I told the workers and they did not even apologize and wanted me to pay the full amount and ended up just giving me $1 off and had an attitude. I went in for a combo service of a regular pedicure and dip with what I thought would be free cateye design on my hands. I told the tech I had a text coupon for free cateye and tried to show it to him before my service. He told me to show it to him after I finished. When I finished and showed the coupon, I was told that I had to get gel on my toes and the cat eyes would be free on my toes. Oh, by the way I would need to spend an additional $15 dollars for the gel on my toes because the cateye is the design on top of the gel. Tracy kept telling me that she could do it for me but I still would need to pay $15 in addition to services I have already gotten. If this isn't classic bait and switch. I told her more than once that I tried to show the special before I got services and of course it was as if she didn't understand. She never acknowledged that I said it or that she discuss the matter with her tech or anything. And even had the nerve to tell me next time to show before my service. Who said there is going to be a next time. Certainly, not I. I am highly pissed because I should be able to choose how my money is spent, not tricked into getting services. So I ultimately paid $15 for the cateye on my hands because according to them, the coupon was for free cateye with gel polish on my toes. I understand what was being explained but this is not what the message above from the text states. Yes, Tracy, I am fully aware that cateye is a design. No need to respond here telling me that again. My pedicure was mediocre at best done by one of the other tech in the salon, but I will say Tracy did do a good job on my hands. This was my second visit here and I thought maybe I had found my spot. After today,will I be back? Probably not. What I can say with certainty is that I am 100% not making this my go to spot. And yeah, I can't recommend others going here either. read more

Tracey the owners wife was upset bc her nail techs don't know how to polish with their diluted white polish that they charge 25.00. polish was very bumpy and she proceeded to yell and scream at me. Money spends well everywhere and there are a million nail salons in Memphis. I wish I would allow someone who can barely speak nor comprehend English to disrespect me and then spend another penny with them. Train your Techs better and stop diluting your polish and maybe you will not have customer complaints. read more

I have never given a bad review, but this is warranted. I don't want infection or fungus to spread. My biggest issue is that they were not sterilizing their instruments between patrons. Secondly, my technician rushed and was rough with me ( made me bleed twice) and was tough with the client that preceded me, who did complain. I waited for my friend to finish and was not pleased with them reusing filers and nail cutters without sterilizing or wiping them between customers. From my understanding, these are new owners. I would be cautious and make sure they use sterilized instruments. read more

During my service, I felt it was kind of rushed but I mentally noted it but I was definitely correct because the next day my nails chipped and now one is cracked right down the middle. I received a dip manicure and they usually last at least two or more weeks. I called to see if I could get this rectified as this happened over the holidays. I wanted pink french tips and they proceeded to paint my entire toe pink and put white on top of it. my sister's toes were just supposed to be regular French chips. They were absolutely crooked and just looked a mess. The owner contacted me after posting a Google review and tried to gaslight me. I had been passing by this salon and although I had noticed the "Under New Management" sign, I had been hesitant to stop by. I finally decided to swing by and I'm so glad I made the decision to do so! First of all - immediately upon arrival, I was greeted by a very friendly young lady. I signed in and only had to wait for a few minutes. The salon had been renovated and everything was new. The staff there now is very friendly and there were plenty of conversations going on around the salon. They offered beverage options such as water, champagne and wine. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the staff members by the name of Jenny. She was hilarious and did a great job on my nails. Unfortunately, I learned that she was only in town temporarily and would be heading back to Texas soon. Because of my experience with her - I decided that I would definitely be back. I have gone a few times since May and the service has been worth my drive to Cordova. The wait time has never been long. Today, my experience was unpleasantly different than other times. There were several things that occurred before the ultimate moment. I went for a pedicure only; I chose my color and selected the new collagen pedicure (#2). One young lady was about to start on me, but when another customer came in so a sweet lady named Tee came over instead. She provided service during my first visit and I had no complaints. During my first visit, I got regular polish on my toes so I left with the toe separators on. Today, she took the separators off of my toes and put them back with the rest of the unused ones. Today, she didn't ask me if I wanted gel, she just put the gel on. I got gel the last time, and didn't like it because it can't just be wiped off once it is old so I would have preferred regular polish on my toes. At this nail salon, the regular and the gel polish are in the same box for all of their bottle polish so as a customer, you would not just know what is being used until they take out the device to cure the polish which means a gel polish was used. My natural nail on my great toe was not straight so I asked if she could straighten it, but then she looked at some other employees and I explained the issue and it was fixed. Ms. Tee urged me to get a manicure so I obliged thinking maybe my hands looked rough. I told her regular polish because when I get gel polish at this location it doesn't last. She made a face for me to understand what she was conveying with a few words "Regular polish (insert frown); you get color like this (shows me her nails). I oblige to do that color. After she did two coats on the left hand, I could tell that it wasn't going to look any better even with a third coat. The color was cute with her complexion, but on me, my nail bed looked red similar to if you applied pressure to your nail bed for a few seconds. My exact response was "Ms. Tee, are we able to apply a light pink to this because it does not compliment my skin tone?" She held up her hands and showed me her nails. I said "Yes, it looks nice with your complexion, but it does not go well with my skin tone." She kept going, which was not alarming because she did the same thing with a question that I asked about my toes earlier and what she was doing was part of "her" process. There was a customer beside me as I had this conversation with her, but there was not a technician near her. I asked her again about the pink color when I noticed that she was approaching me with the towels to wrap the hands, which is normally done at the end. By this time, there was another technician sitting beside her and Ms. Tee looked over at her. The young lady asked me what I said. After I explained, the young lady replied "She's finished." I said, but I told her before she finished. At this time, about four of the employees come over and hover around. One of them said "I'm sorry" to Ms. Tee and they all proceed to carry on an extensive conversation in their language and laugh and stare at me. One thing that was said sounded like "Stop doing young people", but since I could not get Google translate to work after several attempts, I assume that I didn't need to know what was being said. Ms. Tee was never rude and her actions never indicated that she had an attitude, but the other employees made me feel uncomfortable with how the situation was handled. As my nails were corrected, I looked straight ahead and watched tv. The group hovered around multiple times as she corrected the nails. I wasn't going to make a scene nor did I want to upset myself more so I allowed the error to be corrected. Ms. Tee complimented the new color once she finished and apologized. I am not sure if she can speak fluent English, but she knew that I conveyed something to her. I checked out and the same younger female that was beside her cashed my bill out and once I made it to the register, she asked "You happy now?" I replied "Yes", but I felt some type of way about everything that had transpired. I still tipped Ms. Tee and she apologized again. My time is precious just as their time is. How they handled it was rude. What's done is done, and although, I will not be returning, they should try to learn better business etiquette and proper hygiene for equipment for future patrons. They took their time and put a lot of effort into my nails and they turned out exactly how I wanted them. I couldn't have asked for better nails for my wedding.
