K Nails Worst Experience Ever I had the WORST nail shop experience ever after visiting K Nails on Germantown Parkway this afternoon at 6 pm on December 18, 2025 . There's a front desk woman named Yunnie. She's Asian and has a lot of bumps/ acne on her face. Me and my Mom have been loyal and consistent customers for about 7 years with each of us paying around $100 plus tips each nail shop visit. I recently had a nail break less than a week after getting my nails done here. So I called and spoke to Yunnie informing her that 1 of the acrylic nails fail off on Monday (December 15th) and she said ok come on. So I drove 32 minutes after work to K Nails to get 1 acrylic nail that fail off fixed. Once I got there the same person, Yunnie, said that they would have to charge me $5 for the 1 nail that fail off even though their attendant was the one that didn't apply it properly. The front desk woman, Yunnie, was very UNPROFESSIONAL, ARGUMENTATIVE, RUDE, and DID NOT HELP to match the existing nail color in order to repair the nail. In addition, she insulted me by asking me to show her my PERSONAL BANK STATEMENT to see the date the service was rendered although I'm a customer of 7 years. What type of professional business does this? THIS could open customers up to identity theft. Yunnie continued to be argumentative stating for me not to come back after complying with what she asked. Finally I'm one of many customers who have received bad treatment from this one individual named Yunnie. This experience today is so overwhelming and DISAPPOINTING! I recommend customers patronize other suitable nail shops that appreciate their business. read more

Quick and great service (even without an appointment)!!! My group of 3 arrived around 1pm on a Friday afternoon and it was fairly busy. We were instantly seated for our pedicures and all being serviced within 10 minutes! Huge plus! I hadn't had a pedicure since the pandemic, so this was a great reintroduction. All the staff wore masks and most of the customers did as well. The only negative was that the water and paraffin wax were both extremely hot. My feet were red and tender. I went in for a mani and pedi while my daughter got her fill and gel polish. The lady told me I didn't need a mani and I said yea, but I would like one. She ignored me and just polished my nails. When my daughter's nails were done they said oh did you STILL want your pedicure, I said no thanks. I guess it is all about how much they can upsell and since I just wanted regular polish they didn't have time for me. I went back today and a lady did my nails... she got an attitude when I pointed out that one of the nails was crooked... these nails are not filed properly, there's acrylic hanging off the corners? I chose to get a pedicure with regular nail polish and a manicure with shellac polish. My nail tech was Lily. She was so kind and gentle. I feel like she was a perfectionist the way she painted my nails. I felt completely pampered. The foot/leg massage that gets done during the pedicure made me want to fall asleep!!! This place is the best place I've found since moving to Memphis from Dallas. Overall it's probably a 5 but a few things I didn't like. There is a limit on adult beverages, which I find ridiculous, why does there need to be a limit, this is unheard of, aren't we all adults or is this place being cheap. I noticed an electrical outlet with no cover and totally exposed. The prices are higher than Dallas and customer service is definitely lacking. Unfortunately, i was disappointed once again.. my shellac is lumpy and uneven.. there are bubbles and old shellac under the new color.. just disappointing.. The only reason I don't take off another star is because the tech was so nice and attentive.. I really do appreciate her great customer service but I am unhappy with my nails.. I also just saw the owner's reply and will be reaching out to her. Recently had Sns done here and liked it.. came back for shellac 2 weeks later (today).. I did not like how they removed the sns.. they used the drill for the majority of it, unfortunately!! You do have the option of refusing the drill use but at that point it was too far into the process.. They then started the shellac process.. guy didn't even paint some sides nor all the way to the cuticle so it already looks like it's growing out.. I didn't even noticed until i was in the car and decided to just leave.. all in all pretty ok customer service but for nails, probably won't be back. read more

My toes were terrible when I left. I asked for a overlay but there was no shape or care put into my feet what so ever. They played on my toes. I was skeptical of coming because I hate Vietnamese nails shops. It's all about money & everything is rushed. That was the worst pedicure ever. I was one of the first customers to arrive and SANDY had a terrible attitude, was rolling her eyes, ignoring me when I asked her questions about what she was doing to my nails- like I stole her puppy So I asked for them to be redone when I didn't like it and she said "it's just going to look the same like all the rest of them" ,so I requested that she let someone else do my nails since she seemed like she didn't want to be at work today. She insisted on continuing, so I let her. The orange they used to "MATCH" the nail dip I chose was no where near the same color and I couldn't see it the way she was polishing- and she knew that when she put it on which was why she ignored me bc it's supposedly a 90% match. LIES. I asked to speak to the manager when I was getting ready to check out and I told her that the girl had a terrible attitude and I didn't understand why bc I was her first client today- she literally didn't even acknowledge me. Went here yesterday on a recommendation and am so glad I did! The salon is very clean and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and professional. My friend and I went for pedicures and only waited about five minutes on a Saturday for service. There is a great selection of polished to choose from. I chose the sugar scrub pedicure for a first time trial and it was great. My tech did a great job and offered my a beverage to enjoy during my service. they accidentally put gel polish on my toes. When they realized this they said it'd be $20 more or they'd have to take the gel off and repaint with regular polish. I didn't want to pay $20 extra so I had them take it off. Now if I had a business and I made a mistake like that, I'd would charge the regular rate and complete the gel polish. I have always had excellent service til last Friday when Ana helped me and she was on the phone whole time talking in her language. she did a poor job on my feet and I didn't really realize til I got home, on my nails she was so rough that she cut my skin so bad. I have been going to this business for nearly a year. They are not any better (or worse) than any other nail salon , however, you find a place and they do a pretty good job so you maintain that business relationship. This past week a woman who had not done my nails before, did my nails. In a weeks time I went back twice because her work was poor and the nails just popped off. What this means as a customer is that I have to change my plans and waste my time to go get an unplanned repair. The first one happened to be 2 hours before my flight. SMH! I went in today and these people had the audacity to charge me five dollars for a nail repair. A repair that shouldn't have been necessary. The person I interacted with had a poor attitude as well (both times that I interacted with her.) When these nail salons, which are on every corner, get so comfortable that they don't value customers anymore it's time to change nail salons. I recommend not giving your money to this nail salon. New to the area and I'm looking for a regular nail salon. Was greeted by a gentleman who asked what I wanted, I replied mani/pedi and was then instructed to pick a color. I got the new girl which wasn't an issue she did an ok pedi, however, when it was time for the mani there were no seats so she sat me back in the pedi chair where I thought she was going to do my mani. I waited while she cleaned, then asked was she going to do my mani now, she said no, someone else will. I ask the gentleman who greeted me why he would give me someone who couldn't do both, he says not everyone can do mani and pedi. I had to visit this place twice before I could review to see what I truly thought. I went to get my natural nails dipped in the SNS dipping powder. I went the first time, found a shade that looked interesting and asked them to create a look around it. I for a nice job done but it wasn't anything I was impressed by or was in love with. I did appreciate that this is the first nail salon I've even been to that gives an itemized receipt. So you know exactly what you are being charged and for what service. The first time I went they lasted 2 weeks exactly before the polished chipped off. So I went back with a picture from pinterest and I had Jin do my nails. She was knowledgeable and did a really good job. She helped to find comparable colors to what I showed her but did the same design that I wanted. She even put a color on my accent nail that I absolutely hated and didn't think matched my other colors. She didn't complain. She helped find a better color and changed it for me.
