He had been offering a free patio demolition during the holidays, and since no one had claimed it, he generously applied what he would have spent on that, toward the work we needed. While we were able to salvage many usable items, the rest needed removal. This was a big, tough job from a 2nd story apartment with no elevator, and 40 years of accumulation by a collector.
