He asked questions on the initial call about hidden wires about what could be on the other side of the wall, and requested a picture of the wall. The install was perfect and he helped with getting the XUMO initialized with its remote, the TV could swivel, and the XUMO box was attached to the back of the TV, so it was also hidden. Person who answered who I am assuming Gary was friendly and answered questions promptly. This rating is solely based on the type of installation and response I got from him. You see, running your TV electrical power cord in the wall is not only not to code but could be a fire hazard. The proper way to run electrical is to have a qualified electrician or someone who knows what they are doing install an outlet behind the TV. They also make conversion kits which essentially moves your existing outlet from the bottom to wherever you want behind your TV which is completely safe. Even that involves running fire safe cord such as Romex cabling through the walls, and just the TV power cord. When I talked to this business I specifically asked about doing an outlet behind the TV. I was told that this is not how he does it and he's been doing it for years. You can even see in the pictures from this business, the TV power cord is run from the TV out a hole into an existing power outlet below. God forbid your house would catch on fire, but this is against code and your insurance could deny your claim. I would advise this business to inform their potential customers of this potential fire hazard and risks involved rather than just saying "I've been doing it for years and have had no issues." But regardless of my review people will still use the services, but be aware of potential dangers. read more
