They came to fix the unit back in mid-JUNE and over a month later they STILL HAVE NOT RESOLVED THE PROBLEM THEY MADE WORSE! Exceptional job!…read more Turns out I had been living with a 17 year old air conditioner that was pulling way too much power, as well as constantly dripping (which I learned was due to the previous "service" company's failure to install the replacement air handler properly). The gentleman who looked over the system was very helpful in explaining his recommendations (a 16 SEER Rheem... which is one is the more reasonably priced units! Yay!) The crew of two from Complete were on time, courteous, very competent and definitely complete in the delivery of the unit and it's installation. It was a sweltering day and they had to work out in the heat. But they took the time necessary to do the job right. They removed the old unit and took it away. They installed the new unit and did some extra work that wasn't on the work order to do the job the way it should be done. And they cleaned up everything. They also took care of getting me the rebates and credits which were deducted from the invoice total. (Don't you just hate sending in whatever to get the rebate for your purchase. Maybe the deduction from the invoice is normal... just glad it was all taken care of, though.) It has been two weeks and the unit performs quietly and even seems to maintain the desired temperature better. At least I am not constantly "fiddling" with the thermostat like before. If you appreciate knowing what is appropriate for your circumstance, why it is and caring workmanship... check with Complete. He was professional, courteous, and took the time to inspect everything thoroughly, including going into the attic instead of only looking at the outdoor unit. He clearly explained the repair options without pressuring me. I felt the pricing was fair for the work performed. He cleaned my evaporator coil (which required removing the road cage protecting it). He even came out on a Sunday to evaluate the system after the AC compressor shorted and we were left without cool air. And, later installed a refurbished compressor with a 6-month warranty and gave me a fair price again. He also accepted credit card payment, which was a huge help. No apology, no accountability -- just insults. His worker sanded drywall in my computer room without covering anything. Pieces of drywall got inside every component of every electronic in my room, scratched the top of my record player, and caused egregious damage throughout including my chair's fabric being embedded with bits of drywall. It took me weeks to clean every part of my $7,000 setup that his worker treated like trash. When I confronted Sagy with photos, he denied everything and claimed drywall couldn't damage electronics -- I build computers for a living, so I know that's false. When I told him that, he claimed to be a full on computer engineer himself and said he knew what he was talking about and that there was no way any of my components were damaged. He only argued with me instead of trying to help. I was not personally attacking him and kept my cool while he blew up on me and insulted my cleanliness as a person. I have never been spoken to like this before by a business owner. He sent his worker back with a wet napkin the next day, which made things worse and only reconstituted and spread the drywall further. When I spoke to the worker directly, he admitted everything -- his exact words were "this is what happens when you sand drywall." His own employee confirmed what Sagy spent the entire time denying. I would never trust someone like this in my home again. If anything goes wrong, expect to be lied to and insulted rather than helped.
