We were looking for affordable covers for our 1994 Roadtrek camper van. We saw good reviews in a…read more"classic" year RT group on FB. We decided to check them out. On seeing that they offered free samples we wrote to the company directly from their website. It took a few days to get a response, but we were assured the samples would be shipped right out. They took 4 weeks. When after waiting for a delivery, we emailed again and were told that they would "check with shipping and get back to us" They never did. So, we called, and the person e reached looked for the order and couldn't even find it. He promised to get them shipped asap, we'd been waiting 4 weeks by then. The samples arrived a few days later. We made our color, fabric choice and paid the invoice in full. When we asked about turn over time we were told, by the email correspondence that it would be 6-8 working days before they were shipped. We mentioned the possibility of receiving them before our next trip and the email correspondence said she'd "put a rush on the order" We didn't have any expectations and our trip came and went with no emails about shipping or anything else. By now it was well over the 6-8 days. We emailed, once again, and the next day decided to call as well. Emailing seemed to take 24 hrs for most responses, calling we were able to actually talk to someone. From here it gets even more frustrating. On the phone we were told the order would be ready by the end of that week to ship. Then we received an email stating the order had been lost when production had a question, and put the order off to the side and everyone forgot about the already paid for order. Long story short, we finally received the covers 6-8 WEEKS after they said we would have them. Disclaimer, if we had been told it would be 6-8 weeks, we would have been disappointed but at least aware. However, that is not what we experienced. In the end Design covers did do a good job and made efforts to make it right,. All of which we appreciated. We'd give the covers themselves a 4 star review the covers are very nice and we're happy with the end results. The 3 stars are for the communication and hassle it involved. Be aware there is serious communication issues between email correspondence, office and production.

My drivers side powered window cable snapped. I searched for the closest car window repair shop,…read morenever had to use such a service so I wasn't sure what to expect however I did watch a YouTube video before heading that way to see if I could do it myself but I didn't have the tools on hand. After deciding to get it "professionally" done I came to this shop. I waited about an hour and a half (standing by my car cuz I noticed some shady behavior around my car) only for them to tell me they received the wrong part and I have to come back the next day. That they'll call me or better yet I should call them to see if they have received the replacement part. Now mind you...I've been extremely patient and quiet but watchful. I KNOW they didn't HAVE to drill a hole on the inside of my door to hold a wooden block to "hold up the window so it won't break until we can repair it" dafuq! that's 3! Then after like 45 minutes I noticed the guy left my key turned on but not all the way on so if I hadn't turned it off my battery would've drained. All of a sudden this guy comes back passes by my car takes a look at the dash sees the lights off looks at me to see if I'm looking and continues to walk away. The whole time he kept talking to this other guy and whispering back and forth and trying to block my view of the car and what he was doing. Ok, so now they didn't even put everything back in place on my door until they "fix it completely" which just seems like a ploy for me to bring it back to THEM. They even left my other windows down and the power to those cut off, had I not tried to roll up my other windows before leaving I would've realized too late and been caught all night with my windows down on the street. SMH.I just wanted to get home after such horrible service and being out in the heat the whole time. The way I was made to feel is horrible ngl kind of feels like its because they saw a single female taking care of business so take her money and time. I WAS interested in adding an alarm system and tinted windows but after that yeah, no thanks. I'm sure there's other businesses that treat their customers with respect and dignity no matter their gender. Telling all my friends and family AND sharing MY experience on all social media. I'm not sure if it's worth my time and money after all, gotta go back for them to finish the job or round two of bad service I already paid a deposit. Guess we'll see. Keep y'all updated.
