Today I was buying another pair of Jeans and boot socks. There was a customer who wanted to return a pair of boots, but they didn't meet the refund requirements and the gas a store credit. He said it was fine, but kept berating the two young ladies. Threatening the young ladies with terrible reviews until he tried to bring me into it and I provided my opinion at which point he stopped. I'm here to say the young ladies handled everything very professionally and are great assets to the Billy's team.

While businesses are certainly not obligated to provide discounts, it feels inconsistent to heavily market support for the military during these holidays while offering little tangible recognition to those who have served. Memorial Day is a time to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, and Veterans Day is dedicated to recognizing those who served. When companies use these occasions primarily for marketing purposes, it can come across as more of a branding strategy than genuine support for the military community. I respect every business's right to make its own policies, but I would encourage Billie's Western Wear to consider ways to meaningfully support veterans and active-duty service members if they choose to publicly align themselves with patriotic and military-themed promotions.

I had gone in wanting to look at the Hoka's since everything I had researched kept leading me to them - the most cushion for a big guy with flat feet looking for relief in the toes and front foot. Come to find out the Saucony's i had been wearing were way too small, and I had worn them out, so double whammy! I asked if there was another shoe she would recommend, and she mentioned the new Asic's Nimbus because they had redesigned their soles, but it had a narrower toe box and wouldn't give me as much stability. Just reconfirming my research and giving me insight into both made me feel like she new her stuff and cares about her customers.
