We chose the Warren Kelly, which completely exceeded our expectations-a truly stunning vessel with a ton of amenities/water toys. Captain Gabriel was fun and extremely professional and his steward was absolutely fabulous. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back again. Our group rented a 75' Lazzara LSX named the "Carpe Diem" (including a JetSki) for a Saturday cruise around Miami. Captain Kevin and his assistant Margarita were incredibly professional and provided excellent service. The boat itself is incredibly spacious inside and outside the cabin, and very comfortably accommodated our group, along with a private chef for our catered excursion. We had plenty of time to "booze and cruise", swim, and take turns using the JetSki. Captain Kevin helpfully advised us on the ideal spots for each activity, and even acted as a tour guide for some of the noteworthy sightseeing hotspots we encountered. Tiffany from Y Charter was a delight to work with. She was attentive to our needs from the day I confirmed the reservation through the day of our sailing, and made herself available to answer my questions via phone and text. I wholeheartedly recommend Y Charter, and look forward to my next trip on the Carpe Diem! read more

We rented the Carpe Diem II of which the experience with the boat, the Capitan and the stewardess were excellent. The issue is with Y Charter and the company, itself. BEWARE of the company as they will make you sign a bunch of documents saying you agree to their figures. Make sure to double check their math as they are NOT just adding 4% credit card fee's. They added almost 17% of credit card fee's to our invoice. They also say they are putting a $1,000 incidental hold on your account of which that charge is never be released. They are scamming customers who are not paying good attention to the actual charges and math errors. When I brought this to the attention of Kefy, the controller, I was ignored and they never apologized or offered to correct the error and refund me the money. I had to contact my credit card company to get the $1,760 of fraudulent charges, refunded. read more

If you want your Sunday to turn into a Funday, then this is it! A group of friends and I chartered the 54' SunDancer appropriately named "Why Not". This turned into one of our best days on the water as the wait staff was very professional and so attentive that no cup ever ran dry! The captain was so knowledgeable that he took us to a "secret" spot in Miami that in years of boating in the area I never knew existed! The yacht is well equipped with jet ski and float toys and large enough to accommodate a party of 12 without feeling crammed. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to get the full Miami experience. I had the best birthday experience with Y Charter! From the very beginning, Marc, one of their brokers, was super helpful and insightful. He was extremely accommodating and was able to assist me with payments toward my rental. Fast forward to my reservation date, the weather was awful (raining profusely) but Captain Tim reached out to me personally to reschedule for the following day. And boy were we lucky, the weather was BEAUTIFUL on 8/27/19! It was the one day during my entire Miami trip, that it did not rain. We set sail on the 'Why Not'.. Captain Tim and our crew member, Sandy, were tons of fun! They encouraged us to dance.. Captain Tim even had his own playlist.. and really made it their priority for us (a group of 7) to enjoy ourselves. We had an amazing experience and would definitely book again! I am currently pursuing legal action against Y Charter over the AWFUL, DIRTY and UNSAFE conditions under which they operated our charter. We are incredibly disappointed with the state of the boat, the incompetent crew, the staff at Y Charter and the fact that THEY CONSCIOUSLY BROKE THE LAW!! We hired Y Charter for a weekend charter for a family birthday back in November. However, because of the following reasons, we were forced to gather our belongings in the middle of the first night and disembark, forcing many us to check into a nearby hotel at three o'clock in the morning: 1. The boat was filthy inside and out and looked NOTHING like the pictures they provided us with. Upon arrival we told Y Charter and tried to have this corrected but we were dismissed and told there was nothing they could do so we tried to make the best of it. 2. The shower in the master cabin flowed with scalding hot water and the door latch was broken which is a major fire hazard. They managed to fix the water after a guest nearly burnt himself but the latch remained broken. The knobs in the master cabin were also rusted shut. 3. Our float plan was not executed as they kept switching marinas on us. At first we were scheduled to embark at South Beach Marina but ON THE MORNING OF AND WITHOUT NOTICE they switched it to Bayside. The charter had been planned months in advance and it wasn't until 5 minutes before we were set to start that they notified us of the change!!!!! 4. Lastly, the most concerning part of our charter happened when we arrived back on the boat the first night after having a birthday dinner on South Beach. We got back on the boat and found that THE ENTIRE CREW WAS ASLEEP in their cabins - NO ONE WAS ON WATCH!!! All of our belongings were left on the boat and could have easily been stolen while we were away. It is MARITIME LAW that at least one crew member is on watch whether we are on the boat or not. What if someone fell? Got hurt? Needed something? No one was awake. My husband had to go to the crew courters to wake the captain up and let him know the situation - and to make matters worse it was as if they were upset at us!!! I'm sure the boat owner would not be happy with the state of his boat and the way the crew handled the charter. Bottom line, STEER CLEAR OF Y CHARTER MIAMI!!! Whether you are thinking about adding your boat to their fleet or looking to charter, they could care less about your experience and are only concerned with profit. There are so many other charter companies in the Miami area I would be happy to recommend. read more

I used Y Charter to book a Yacht for me and a group of close friends and this was the highlight of my summer trip in South Beach Miami. Pros: Great and professional staff and management. I worked mostly through Mari who patiently answered my questions, coordinated my schedule and provided detailed information about each Yacht option that I inquired about. Yossi was also just as helpful, and more importantly he was just as responsive. I tried contacting other Yacht service companies in Miami Beach, I left messages, sent emails and even texted, Yossi and Mari were by far the most responsive to any inquiry I had. The staff was also more than willing to take us around the most scenic areas within the waterways of S. Beach. Cons: Honestly, I have none! This is the first review I've written where I can't think of a negative thing. The yacht was beautiful, the jet ski was fast, the Captain practiced safety and his assistant kept everything organized during the trip. We were able to have tasty beverages, jump in the water with water toys and just enjoy the sun. I love South Beach and travel down often for business and pleasure. I plan to use Y Charter in the near future and HIGHLY RECOMMEND their service. Whether it's for a party, "get together", family event, etc.. I can't see why reserving a yacht wouldn't be a part of your plan, and more specifically why would you use any other company! read more

Y Charters is the worse and not ethical company to charter. If you like to know more before you try to book with them please message me. Original review: I'm currently in dispute with Y Charters on the Quality of Service was awful and I'm using that word lightly. I would not recommend them to anyone I would basically say run when you hear the name. There are a lot more charter companies in the area which I would recommend. Don't even use Y Charters as a last resort. The staff pretends to be friendly but when they get your money it's a different story. Below are a few bullet points. I chartered with them on January 8th 2016 for my 40th birthday which was ruined by there negligence and price mark up for APA expenses. See below 1) 90% float plan was not executed due to last minute stewardess changed which Y Charters did not notify us. We had all our plans with the stewardess who was originally assigned for this Charter. None of the information was passed onto the new stewardess. To add the stewardess replacement was not suited be on charter. Her attitude towards my guest was rude and not professional. She always fighting with the Chef and the other crew member. 2) Chef was horrible. We purchased over $2,500 in food cost alone for a 4 day/3 night charter. He was supposed to make meals there were on the menu however he was late almost 2 hours a night on our dinner meals. He did not make the meals planned he even told me at the end "He bite of more than he can chew" I sent him home a day early because my guest could have made a better meal then he did. 1 day for lunch he had us make our own sandwiches what a joke. The charter company did try to settle with me for a small refund but I declined as it was an insult the amount they wanted to settle with me for. They also acknowledged that they were disappointed on how things were handled in a management letter but they don't want to take responsibility of doing the right thing and providing a full refund. Totally a fan of this place! I was able to charter the 75' Lazzara for a day charter for my boyfriend's birthday. It was our first time chartering and we had such an magical time! They gave us a tour of the area and took us to a sand bar where we were able to jet ski. The crew was super friendly and the Y charter planned everything seamlessly. Since I wanted to go to Zuma after the charter they were able to drop us off right at the dock next to the restaurant and we went from the boat to dinner like VIPs. The whole experience was so great, we are definitely doing it again. read more

Y Charter made for a memorable Sunday Funday! We were on board of "Why Not" and it was the best boat experience yet. The captain and our crew member, Dasha, were the absolute best and very friendly and hospitable. The boat itself was very spacious, clean and great for taking photos :) We were able to store our food and beverages in the fridge on board and Dasha was great with assisting us in serving food and pouring beverages. There are Bluetooth speakers on board so being able to be your own DJ is a plus as well. This was truly a fun and very affordable experience! I will definitely be using Y Charter in the future, as well as recommending it to others in Miami. read more

DO NOT USE THIS CHARTER SERVICE!!!! I had the unfortunate experience of being a guest on this "toilet" of a yacht in November of 2015. I have seen cleaner Bayliners ... the yacht was outdated, dirty, un-operational and the crew had no regard for our safety... zero!! Their was no-one standing night watch and we had to board the yacht at the end of the night and wake up the crew. Thankfully we never left the dock. My heart goes out to my good friend and his family who contracted with this charter company. The family is very affluent, generous, reasonable and is experienced in successfully chartering many yachts via charter companies all over the world. So this negative experience was clearly no fault of theirs. Due to the condition of the vessels numerous safety concerns and the incompetent actions of the captain and crew. The family was forced to use their sound judgment in the interest of safety for all the guests and end the charter early. Sadly, several refund requests were made in good faith to the charter company with no reasonable financial restitution offered. Now six months later, the family is forced to incur legal costs to resolve this dispute. Sadly, the yacht has lived up to its name "Never Ending Journey" my means of negative memories, poor experiences, disappointment, embarrassment and legal costs. I will end this short review as this terrible charter company does not warrant or deserve my time ... You must come here! These people know what they are doing. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Recently went out with a group of friends and we tried the 4 hour cruise. Our experience was over what we excepted, such a great time. The Captain Robert was also very friendly. The day we went wasn't to warm so we were unable to get into the water, but used the jet skis inside the boat which was a plus! I will be coming back in the near future! Love Y Charter! read more

I just recently had one of the most amazing experiences with Y Charter. A group of about 15 girls and I used them from my bachelorette/shower and it was absolutely fantastic! The service was impeccable and the yacht was stunning! not only was the exterior perfection, I couldn't believe my eyes when i went downstairs, it was absolutely amazing. Our captain was incredibly nice and thoughtful. It was about to start pouring so he made sure to take us around areas to beat the rain, that way we were under clear skies as much as possible. He was incredibyl informative also giving us a mini tour of the homes we passed by, etc. our server was on point! she kept our drinks flowing and asked each and every one of us at all times if we were ok or needed anything else. Overall, it was a great experience and cannot wait to book them again!!! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!!! YELP SHOULD MAKE A "ZERO" STAR!!!!!!! Imagine this... you are planning an epic 30th birthday, getting 25 of your closest friends traveling from CT to FL for a few days after the hectic time of Thanksgiving. The charter company makes it clear that you can have all guests on board, provisions are purchased, boat looks amazing in pictures, everyone is ready for fun in the sun. THEN REALITY HITS The day of the charter, the boat is moved to another marina which throws everyone for a loop. You walk up to the boat, which hasn't been cleaned in what appears months, but try to make the best of it. Hoping they just came in from another charter and haven't had time to wash, you grab a canned bear from a plastic cooler.... because the top deck doesn't have a working fridge. None the less, you go downstairs to shower for your guests after flying in from CT.. to get scalding hot water in the shower with a door that doesn't shut. You mention to the crew and change bedrooms before others arrive (its your birthday and you don't want the shitty room... there are shitty rooms on a 110ft Yacht you paid over $35k for the weekend you ask? YUP). You enter the next room to find the A/C doesn't work and it smells like mildew and mold. Great, another drink and hopefully you won't notice... Fast forward... You decide to get off the boat because its really not what it looked like in the picture, go out all night and are excited for some late night card games, cigars, and wine with your closest friends and family. So you board the unguarded boat, at 2 am, to find.... NO ONE AWAKE. You search high and low, no one. Finally the subcontracted chef hears the noise, screaming and yelling, comes up in her night gown confused and terrified... You then walk down to the captains quarters to ask who is on duty... response..."Why would someone be awake, its 2 am"... My simple answer, what if I was a thief armed with a weapon and boarded the boat that was so conveniently unlocked, tied up in a busy marina with popular nightlife next to the Hard Rock... "Well you aren't" was the answer. After many arguments with the captain and crew, you decide this is unsafe and if they cant keep you safe tied up to a dock, what would happen on the water??? NO THANKS Everyone had to check into a hotel room in the middle of the night, leaving me to find an alternate plan for 25 guests to do all weekend. THANKS FOR THE WORST BIRTHDAY EVER Y CHARTER! P.S- Don't try to call Yossi on Saturday when you have this crisis... he doesn't work until the sun goes down and he is apparently the only person you can talk to for this (non) resolution. He hides and would not respond or meet with us. If you are thinking of chartering here, just burn your money and make s'mores, it will be far more fun and relaxing. read more
