I went to Dr. Cheng because I had Bell's Palsy. Bell's Palsy is a certain nerve condition where half of your face is 100% numb. I could not blink my eye, wiggle my nose, or open my mouth. It was horrible! After my 1st acupuncture treatment I was able to at least open and close my eye and with each day I got better. Within just a couple days, I was back to 100%! This review is long overdue. I first came here awhile back for my frozen shoulder - she was so warm and welcoming ...made me feel at ease which I really appreciated. Office is clean and professional and the woman in the front is super friendly. Dr Cheng is also very caring and her positive personality really helps so much when you're not feeling so well. Went in after 40 weeks of pregnancy to help induce pregnancy. Went home that evening and my water broke after one session. Labor stalled however and called her next day to do another session but she was closed. She answered her phone anyway and came into the office just for me. Labor started back up a couple hours later and my baby came at home 4 hours later. Mama and baby perfectly healthy. Had my dream birth at home in a pool. So thankful for Dr Cheng. read more

This maybe isn't a likely use of acupuncture, but I came to Dr Cheng with a clogged milk duct (breastfeeding issue) one morning and she was a great help. She did acupuncture and then ultrasound therapy to loosen the clog. I was able to get the duct unclogged a few hours later while pumping. The same area got clogged a second time about a week later and I went back to Dr Cheng for the same treatment. That evening, I was again able to unclog the duct. Nothing had worked before this and I was desperate. I had tried all the things you're supposed to (heat compress, hot shower, massage, etc) and nothing worked. So, thank you so much Dr Cheng! My first time going here and it was excellent. She's very nice and helpful. I had problems with my insurance and she handle it with great care. I had lower back pain and she recommended that I use both the acupuncture and chiropractic to help speed up the healing process. After my session, my lower back pain went away. Been a patient of Dr. Cheng's for about 4 years and this is the best place I've ever been to for acupuncture and chiropractics. I'm pretty active with crossfit and running so Dr. Cheng keeps my body aligned and meridians flowing freely so I feel better and heal quicker. I live in downtown and drive all the way to Morovia to see her because the drive is worth the treatment. Last week I went in to see her for seasonal allergies and a strained IT band from running. Dr Cheng is wonderful! I've been searching for a good acupuncturist for almost two years. I've tried many in the area and I am so happy I found Dr. Cheng! What makes Dr. Cheng so great, besides her skill both in acupuncture and chiropractics, is that she provides a really comfortable environment for her patients and has a very gentle and caring bedside manner. I first started seeing Dr. Cheng for terrible, chronic pinched nerve in my shoulder (I can't remember the correct term for when the nerve becomes inflamed and keeps getting pinched by the joint). I was concerned I was going to have to have surgery to correct the issue, but Dr. Cheng had me feeling better after my 1st appointment!
