Decided to try out this restaurant after discovering it on UberEats and was intrigued that there was roti and unique dinner entree combinations so I decided to give this restaurant a try. I ordered Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken with rice and peas and cabbage as well as an order of Brown Stew Chicken roti and a side of plantains. Placed the order around 6:40 and was notified by the UberEats driver at 7:15 that the restaurant was out of Jerk Chicken. Understand that entrees can sell out so was offered brown stew chicken or curry chicken as an option- I opted for the brown stew chicken. A few minutes later the driver again said the restaurant was out of roti. The roti was substituted for rice/peas and cabbage. I was not pleased with the substitutions but was so hungry at that point and ready to eat. Food arrived at 7:50. Food: Curry Goat was probably the best part of my order, it was spicy which I enjoyed but as someone else described-- it was indeed bony. Not great value for price. The brown stew chicken was sweeter than other places where I've ordered and not an entree I'd eat again. Also never received the side order of plantains. Overall, I'd give it a 2 star-- Curry Goat carrying this meal mostly. More than likely not a repeat visit for me but not a bad option if in the area. read more

The customer service is okay. The food is nasty I'm sorry. It's missing too much. The cabbage has no seasoning, the rice has no seasoning and is chewy, the brown stew chicken is missing spice it just wasn't good. My first time buying there and I'm not coming back ever. The food here was bomb!! And fresh!! I hate going to Jamaican restaurants and they have old food from the day before!! The owner told me and my fiancé that they close once the food is done. I tried this place yesterday on the recommendation of a friend who said it was some of the best Jamaican food in the area. Its a little place and the folks running it seem friendly. They had some pretty cheap lunch specials but I opted to try the curried goat. It came with rice/beans, plantains and stewed cabbage. The sides were pretty good; the goat tasted good but the problem was it was almost entirely bones. I'm used to curried goat being "boney" but this was just way too much for a meal over $10. Very good food. Had a Navy shipmate take me there and while it is not fancy at all, it is VERY clean, folks working there were very helpful and pleasant, and weren't in a rush to serve us and get us out! We ordered the larger of the two sizes and it was very reasonably priced for the huge amount of food! Actually have left over which is my lunch for today!! Yummy!!! I have never had Jamaican food before and I pass this place on my way home so I decided to try it. I had the jerk chicken lunch special , so spicy and full of flavor. A friend told me about this little spot and I never got a chance to go until today. The very first and most important thing that I noticed when I walked in was the friendliness of the lady working the counter. Not only was she friendly but she asked me specifics about my food, ie, the kind of gravy I preferred and how much. That was nice. I ordered a small jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. The chicken was very good. The rice and peas had a touch more sugar added than I thought necessary. I wasn't a huge fan of the cabbage. I felt like it could've cooked a little longer. Forgot my soda with my lunch special a few days ago, and they allowed me to pick it up at my next convenience even though they didn't HAVE to. That's customer service. Ok this place is just so unprofessional. I've placed orders over the phone and 15 minutes later when I get there they tell me the food was not packed to go. Then I have to wait in line until they get to me. It's just so ridiculous and they do it because why? Who does this as a restaurant? Today I ordered over the phone steepness and I was so upset. I told the lady I was on my way so that she would for sure have my food right....Not! It wasn't ready I had to wait 15 minutes to get it cause I had to stand in line and hen order again. Then I get to the counter and asked this very unpleasant cashier why they never make the orders when they are placed, she ignored me and have me a fake plastic smile.
