    Brown Stew Chicken Lunch Special.
    Christine C.

The customer service is okay. The food is nasty I'm sorry. It's missing too much. The cabbage has no seasoning, the rice has no seasoning and is chewy, the brown stew chicken is missing spice it just wasn't good. My first time buying there and I'm not coming back ever. My stomach is hurting right now because of this mess. I paid almost 9$ for a 1star food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I should've looked at the 3 star overall rating.

    Love the plantains .

It was decent but kind of tastes like cleaning products and not enough flavor in the cabbage salad

The food here was bomb!! And fresh!! I hate going to Jamaican restaurants and they have old food from the day before!! The owner told me and my fiancé that they close once the food is done. So you will not find old stale food there. Which I absolutely love! Why would you complain about that?! The guy taking the orders was very professional and well mannered. Already told so many people about it already!! Will be my new Jamaican food spot!!

I tried this place yesterday on the recommendation of a friend who said it was some of the best Jamaican food in the area. Its a little place and the folks running it seem friendly. They had some pretty cheap lunch specials but I opted to try the curried goat. It came with rice/beans, plantains and stewed cabbage. The sides were pretty good; the goat tasted good but the problem was it was almost entirely bones. I'm used to curried goat being "boney" but this was just way too much for a meal over $10. I'll try the jerk pork next time.

Curry Goat and Jerk Chicken Plates. Lots of great food!

I have never had Haitian food so I have nothing to compare it to. However, the chicken legs were cut up and appeared to fried naked, pretty damn good. Maintaining low carbs, I didn't have rice and beans, but can only imagine how that would have enhanced the flavor. When I I told I didn't want any rice or beans, they looked at me like I had 5 heads but I was cool with it. Instead of rice and beans, I had lettuce and tomato salad and what appeared to be a spicy based cole slaw. I did indulge in the fried plantain, so good. I was traveling and had a flight to catch, straight up ate it at a bar in the West Palm Beach airport with a cold beer 5ha5 was needed for that slaw. Folks at the bar was like that looks good. Yeah, was my response and go see our friends at Lakay Haitian Restaurant.

Although rice and red beans is a staple in the Haitian community, they refuse to serve it. If you ask for rice and red beans they say "yes we have it" but when you get your food it's a totally different rice. I'd rather go somewhere else for better food and better service. The fish filet is just about they only thing they have that separates them from any other Haitian restaurant in the area.

If you've never heard of Sushi Aplatanao, you're in for a treat! FoodTok FL is a food truck…read morebringing a bold and creative fusion of Dominican and Japanese flavors, and trust me--it's not your average sushi spot. The term "aplatanao" is Dominican slang for being deeply connected to Dominican culture, and that's exactly what this sushi is: a Dominicanized take on Japanese sushi, packed with flavor and personality. Forget raw fish and delicate flavors--this sushi is all about big, bold, and cooked ingredients that blend the best of both worlds. Some of the signature Dominican touches include: - Sweet plantains (maduros) for a little natural sweetness - Fried cheese, because, well, cheese makes everything better - Salami, adding that smoky, savory Dominican touch - Guacamole, swapping out wasabi for a creamy, flavorful kick - Churrasco (grilled steak), giving sushi a hearty twist - Chicken (fried chicken), for those rolls that love white meat Wrapped up in sushi rice and nori, then topped with house-made sauces, the result is a delicious mix of sweet, savory, crispy, and creamy flavors in every bite. A Must-Try: The Villa Juana | Domi Roll One of their standout rolls is the Villa Juana Roll, named after a well-known Dominican neighborhood. It's got fried cheese, sweet plantains, Dominican salami, and a drizzle of their special sauce, making it a perfect example of this fusion style. Every bite is an explosion of flavors that'll have you questioning why sushi didn't always taste like this! If that doesn't appeal you, then just go for their traditional rolls in the box, such as Spicy Tuna, Kalifornia, Salmon roll, JB roll, etc. Service it's amazing and both the chef and the sous chef are great hosts. Love this place and will be coming back for sure!

Funny enough, I'm not really a rice girl but the seasoning was a great compliment to the veggies in this bowl. Last but not least, the NO FEAR ROLL a great serving size with a delicious cilantro verde vinaigrette! Such great mixes of flavors and all made within 10-15 minutes.

Our table ordered a pork platter, mufongo, and beef (steak)/Shrimp tacos and it was GOOD. I ate two out of my three tacos before I had the sense to take a picture of it. Absolutely insane how good this food was, and the portion sizes were outstanding.
