Everyone is super friendly, we were the only small table that came in while they were prepping for a large reservation but still helped us to get seated and took our order within five minutes of coming through the front door. Menu is decided up by the country the dish is from, so besides Puerto Rico, there's Guatemalan, and Spanish American food. Our table ordered a pork platter, mufongo, and beef (steak)/Shrimp tacos and it was GOOD. I ate two out of my three tacos before I had the sense to take a picture of it. Absolutely insane how good this food was, and the portion sizes were outstanding. I should've stopped eating but I couldn't, otherwise I would've left with more takeout and I could be enjoying this for lunch tomorrow. This place was everything you could dream of for a Puerto Rican restaurant, from the neon lights down to the wall mural in the main dining room. There is no reason this place shouldn't be packed. Bacalaitos for $3.00 that are huge, tasty and made fresh. All of the food on the menu is priced very well. When you get your food, there is just so much of it! Such an authentic experience! We have been here three times and we eat too fast to get a picture! I'll work on it next time though. The first time we went, I had appetizers. Honestly disappointed. I don't really know what going on with this restaurant. The food quality has gone thru the floor, not only that have you guys seen the prices ?. I went in on Tuesday looking for the one good server they have just for them to tell me she no longer works there. The only person who actually gave me great service the whole time I was there. Then I waited over 25 min over a beef turn-over that was all greasy and disgusting. I was only coming here for the server anyways. Oh and the owner or manager or whatever he is. He is a real scam I over heard the other server talking to the cook about he steals their tips to keep for him land now he adds 20% gratuity. Really disappointed he's taking advantage of his employees because he can't keep his business up. My family and friends won't be coming here anymore. We will not support a business that steals from their employees. No wonder why he wants to force us to tip. read more
