For a fast food place and a chain it's pretty good. I would say that it is somewhere between a 3.5 and 4. I have been to a few of them and this one is pretty consistent. I'm a half chicken with yellow rice and black beans guy. Steak is ok. I would also recommend the chicken soup. Service is quick. Staff is friendly and if you choose to eat in it's clean. 4.5 stars. The food is usually spot on no matter what you chose and they have tons of choices. The great part is their menu board has huge pictures, along with the description. It is often difficult to decide what to get, so common to pick a couple great plates and eat tapas style. One favorite is the shrimp fried rice. Huge portion with just the right amount of veggies and plenty of scrumptiously seasoned shrimp. Churrasco sometimes is good and tender but other times it can be chewy. The veggies and white rice are always done right. My favorite part of this restaurant are the homemade sauces. The cilantro sauce is to die for. A perfect blend of cilantro, mayonnaise and believe a bit of lemon. This makes everything to die for! For dessert also tried one of the Alfajores (Dulce de Leche Sandwich Cookies). Although it was good, the price of $3.99 for a small cookie is about twice as much as it should be. Carefully crafted and exactly delicious, but the price keeps this from being a common add to the order. The location is a building that makes it look kind of dicey but don't be discouraged. The food and service is great. You order at the counter and they bring the plates to your table. Sodas are Pepsi products including lemonade. I have been a regular and loyal patron of this establishment for quite some time, primarily because the food is typically well prepared and flavorful. On several recent visits, however, I noticed the chicken was consistently dry. I chose not to make an issue of it, as the overall taste was still decent and the meals were otherwise satisfactory. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I received yet another serving of noticeably dry chicken, this time to the point where I felt compelled to return to the drive-thru and request a replacement. Upon approaching the window, I explained the issue to the employee. As I was speaking, a male staff member, whom I later discovered to be the manager (Manuel from what I was told) approached the window and, without any courtesy or professionalism, abruptly stated, "Why you lie?" I was stunned by the accusatory and completely inappropriate nature of his question. I calmly responded, "What do you mean, why do I lie? The chicken is dry." Rather than engaging in any form of respectful dialogue or resolution, he turned and walked away with a dismissive and unprofessional demeanor. Due to his attitude and approach, I no longer felt safe or comfortable accepting a replacement meal. I instead requested a refund, as I could not trust that my food would be handled properly. When I asked if he was the manager, he confirmed. I then asked if there was an owner or someone else I could speak to regarding the situation. He ignored my request, offered no further acknowledgment, and passed my card and receipt to another employee to complete the refund process. To make matters worse, the refund was issued for $12.99, excluding tax, despite my total purchase being $13.90. However, the experience had already left such a bitter impression that I chose not to return and dispute the $0.90 difference. The issue was no longer about the food or the refund it was about the appalling lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy demonstrated by someone in a managerial position. I will not be returning to a business where customer concerns are met with hostility, condescension, and outright disrespect. As a paying customer, I expect not only quality food but also a standard of service that reflects care and professionalism. This experience fell far below that standard and has made it abundantly clear that my loyalty is neither valued nor respected. read more

I ordered half a chicken with rice and beans, and my rice was undercooked -- not just in one spot, but the whole thing. The chicken was cooked fine, but the rice and beans completely threw me off, and I couldn't even enjoy my food. I ordered through Uber Eats, and I've never received it like this before. The first time I ordered, I asked for creamy garlic sauce and only got 3 small containers. Since they gave me 3 last time, this time I added 2 more sauces to my order, expecting to get 6 total -- but I still only got 3 again, even though I paid for extra. I'm extremely disappointed because I usually enjoy ordering from here, but this experience really let me down. La Brasa is one of my favorite places for Latin American food!! I prefer La brasa over pollo tropical and La granja (competitors). Very flavor chicken and the yellow rice is bomb! I always get black beans as well. Great price for what you get. I suggest also trying their fried fish and tres leches cake for desert. I always pair my food with their delicious sauces (cilantro garlic is my absolute favorite- it's not too salty). The service is always quite nice. Ambiance is pretty normal for one of these spots. I've been getting food here for about 3 years now. You can't go wrong with the roasted chicken, but, I've have gotten it a little dry couple of times. The lechon is pretty good too. I wouldn't bother getting the steak (tends to be tough). They also have a wide variety of side dishes including rice and beans , plantains, Caesar salad, mixed vegetables, and potatoes.Place your order either to stay , go or at the drive-thru. they have a bunch of tables inside with a couple of booths. I just want to say - I love La Brasa. It's a go-to spot for lunch in West Palm Beach... I'm probably there every week. I rate restaurants based off the ratio of expectations:quality. Fancy, high-end restaurants are not the only places that get 5 stars from me. This place is exactly what you want it to be, if not better. They have great rotisserie chicken, fried rice (my go-to), steak, salads, etc. they have healthy options and a drive-thru. This is the place I go to if I have 30 minutes for lunch. I tried the creamy garlic sauce and the parsley garlic sauce. The pork was fantastic and the chicken was great as well. The beans and rice had great flavor and was not dry. Both of the sauces were delicious. If I had known how large the portions were I would have skipped the empanada. I ate it as well but barely. Over all, a great place for great food. I love this restaurant- as soon as you enter you get a homey family-run restaurant feeling. La Brasa is usually packed during lunchtime, but don't let that deter you, your food is made and served quickly- they also offer take-out! I always order the steak stir-fry with white rice and fries. Simply delicious. The sauces that are located near the drink machine take your taste buds to the next level- I highly recommend the green and the white one- the orange one is spicy and I'm not a fan of spicy things so it wasn't for me.
