Never used yelp or left a review before but I feel like I need to because this food is amazing and there is nothing like it in Lodi. The store was very modern looking and well maintained . Everything tasted AMAZING !!! I had the shawarma wrap meal which was amazing but their fries are by far the best in town they are properly season and easily beat McDonald's fries. My brother got the loaded shawarmas fries which are not on the menu but if you ask they will make them for you and they are to die for. The customer service was over the roof. The owner is extremely kind and one of the ladies even gave me samples of their desserts which were delicious and I had to go buy some. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!! read more

First off I only made a yelp account for this place. let me start off by saying the young man that goes by the name sultan was amazing this young man had a smile on his face the whole time and was absolutely on his stuff he told me he learned everything from his father which I absolutely admired he was quick with the food and even recommended me the deserts and the bowl so that's what i got the service was fast and man the desserts were amazing he offered me his personal favourite the saffron pomegranate and I recommend that 100 percent once the food was done the man in the hat named Murad was very nice and helped me out with extra sauces and utensils with a smile on his face it's hard to get good customer service like this especially in Lodi shout out to this young man's father he raised an upright man I will definitely be back to get the delicious food and for the outstanding customer service by sultan and the other employees read more

The food was amazing and very well prepared I came in a couple days ago for lunch with my husband and it was our first time. We were indecisive about what to order but luckily there was a young man who said he was the owners son and he was extremely helpful and knew what he was talking about and answered all my questions and gave me samples of everything and he helped so much and he even gave us a free Turkish delight and it tasted just like a apple fritter it was amazing. My husband ordered the shawarma fries loaded and he didn't leave a single bite on his plate I ordered the bowl but I was too full to finish because of there large portion sizes. Was referred to Yafa by a friend and we have enjoyed the food three times now. Every time the food has been fresh and tasty especially the spicy hummus and falafels. The menu has a great variety of different things and we want to try them all. We've been going to Yafa Hummus for about five years in Tracy. Always the best Mediterranean food, period. My wife suggested back when we first found them that they needed to come to Lodi. That day is now here. Had a nice talk with the owner. The place was standing room only when we were there this afternoon. I usually don't like to write reviews but this one i had too i order Chicken shawarma which supposed to be freshly cooked but what came out is chewy rough bad smell chicken in my sandwich to point i had to spit it. I saw it wasn't a direct cut from the skewer i thought it would be fine if it was cooked today but after taking one 2 bites i spit the 2nd and through everything away as it seems been in that keep warm tray for so many days. Definitely wouldn't try or recommend this place to anyone old food should be thrown away not feed in the next coming day to people read more

Didn't realize this location (lodi) was open. I stopped at the supermarket in the same shopping center, noticed it was open, and I'm glad I did. Everything looks great. This trip I only got tabuleh and hummus with pita bread. The classic hummus is delicious. Even better, in my opinion, is the spicy hummus. It is not overpowering spice, but a nice change of pace. My husband and I tried this place after seeing an ad in the local online newspaper. We love Mediterranean food and before they opened I went online to check out reviews of their Bay Area stores. All were excellent, so I was excited to try them out for the first time today and was definitely NOT disappointed!! Really wonderful food and the owners were there to answer our questions. Everything is really fresh and delicious and it's very clean and nicely decorated. We had the chicken shawarma wraps today, but I'm anxious to return and try one of their bowls! We also ordered hummus to try with our wraps - WOW!! Best we've ever had anywhere! Like many restaurants, they're looking for help, but were doing their best to keep up with the numerous customers we saw coming in. It's great to see the community support in such a new restaurant and were told that they've been quite busy since opening - that's always a good sign! Will DEFINITELY be returning soon!! read more

I was a first time visitor of this restaurant, and was really disappointed Saturday night. Started off with a young man who was more interested in talking on the phone to a friend than helping me as I stood there waiting for him to play with his phone social media apps, and eventually take my order. He then did not help the ladies who were clearly struggling. They kept asking him for help, he was too busy on the phone. After 30 minutes of waiting I finally received my food. I noticed that my french fries had been sitting in the basket for a minimum of 10 minutes before they actually made their way to the seasoning bowl and into a box but they sat in the box for another five minutes before the rest of the food was done. There was potential for a good tasting fry but they were cold. The falafel were close to burnt and dry. The chicken and lamb were good but the overall experience was not. Pretty disappointed. $70 later not impressed. read more
