    Chicken wrap and Falafel wrap

The decor is so sweet. The vibe is cozy and feels like walking into someone's home. The food is excellent! Freshly made and full of flavor! The service is good too. Our waitress was really nice. She was the only one there running food and taking orders but kept a smile on her face the whole time. It did take about 30 minutes to get the food so be patient! It is definitely worth the wait. The falafel was backed with flavor and their fries were seasoned nicely with a great crisp.

The decor is just so beautiful

Why did I take so long to go here?! The food I ordered was a 10/10! I ordered Hummus and pita bread and a rib eye shawarma. Everything I ordered had such amazing flavors. I don't have anything to complain about! I will be back to order more hummus (the BEST hummus I have ever had in my life!) and although I'll be tempted to order another shawarma, I am so excited to try the other dishes this place has to offer. You can tell the love that is put into the dishes! The place is beautiful, I loved the ambience and the decor all around the place. I will be bringing my family soon!

Found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! The menu has tons of options and they apparently have specialty dishes every other Saturday, which is cool. We got the hummus with lamb and chicken shawarma. Took about 25 minutes, but honestly the wait was fine because the restaurant is really nicely decorated and roomy, so we just hung out. Staff was very friendly too. The food was really good and authentic. The hummus was thick and creamy with plenty of olive oil on top, and the lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken shawarma was also well-spiced and came with fries. The baba ghanoush and pita bread had great flavor. I think they roasted the eggplants for the baba ghanoush on fire. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get--portions are generous. There's plenty of parking which is a plus. If you're heading to the Lodi wine region for tastings, this is a solid spot to grab food beforehand. I'm definitely coming back to try more dishes.

I have been wanting to try this Mediterranean spot for about 2 months. Well let me just tell you Gina & Brittney were the sweetest people and do not pass up this GEM. Food was superbilcious. My son and I ordered the trio platter (chicken, steak& lamb) plated with plenty of rice and an arugula salad topped with a nice tangy sweet dressing. His friend ordered the burger with fries-- the best double patty, juicy & charbroiled taste. The cultural decor was absolutely darling. I love all the pleasantries, trust me when I say this -- it is my #1 spot to frequent, you will not be disappointed. Oh and as a bonus, we had the pleasure of trying their humus & warm pita bread on the house--- Delish

We were not disappointed! Delicious, fresh, good proportions, excellent flavor. Hummus was exceptional! I had the mediterranean chicken bowl. Chicken was so tender and flavors/spices were amazing. Prices reasonable. Warm hospitality and service. It is a lovely little spot and we will be returning. Luck to have this restaurant in Galt!

Oh my this place is delicious! Not too much variety in Galt and this is a stand out new go-to for us. really good food at reasonable prices. Service was amazing and the decor is adorable. Great casual or date night venue

Our son & DIL took us there. It was our first time. The food was amazing! Family owned. Dad cooks daughter waited tables. Think they were short help when we went, but the wait still wasn't bad. My husband and I shared the Kabob Trip plate. Was suppose to be Lamb, steak & chicken. Ours ended up being all steak, laying on a bed of fluffy rice. It was excellent, very tender!! Next time we will get the trio, though. And the service was excellent, she kept checking on us. It's in the older part of Galt. But they have really fixed the restaurant up nicely. No alcohol at this time. But I see them growing in the future! We will definitely go back!!

The Chicken Shwarma was delicious!! I had a lamb wrap and it had the best garlic sauce! Came with fries. We will be back!

The Mix Up food truck! I ordered the kabob plate of a ribeye kabob and a lamb kabob. Mmmm, the kabobs were delicious. Big, hunky cuts of tender, flavorful meat; all grilled to perfection. The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities. What initially caught my eye was the very dramatic graphic design on the truck. It looked like a vintage movie poster with a woman in Mexican traditional garb and Arab man individually both looking contemplatively into the distance. As I walked closer, I found out they were selling Arab and Mexican food with their signature dish being their famous ribeye kabob. I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. The kabob serving size was huge. I chose the ribeye and lamb kabobs. Chicken was the other option. They weren't stingy on the protein serving. The meats are actual cuts of filets, not ground meat. It was tender, flavorful with a great grill to it. Instead of rice, I asked for double the salad. The salad was fresh tasting and vibrant looking. The hummus was packed with a garlicky punch.

The best food on the planet! Traveled all the way from Georgia to enjoy Gina's cooking. The location is so cute and clean! The service is beyond exceptional!

Incredible food and wonderful warm hospitality. The food is plentiful and delicious. None of us could even finish half of what was served, but we are all looking forward to eating our leftovers. Great food and good value.

I got the trio Kabob plate as usual. Always consistent and good! Some of the nicest people you will ever meet and for the quality and the amount of food you will not be disappointed! I've been a customer for years back when they sold off their food truck, and now have a nice restaurant! I've tried several of their dishes like althea wings, burgers and sandwiches and have never been disappointed!

Delicious. One word sums it all up. It did take a while to get our food, but seems like the kitchen was slammed with to go orders.

They have so many fresh, healthy options and I'm never waiting long for my very vegan friendly food. We like to order the build your own bowls, me with my falafel and he with his various meats. You can fit so many things in that bowl for $15. Enough food for two meals, and the ingredients are high quality. Win win. I like to do a salad base with my bowl (though one could choose rice or hummus base) with either the Mediterranean salad or the kale slaw, falafel, pesto hummus (all their hummus is fantastic), and whichever additional salad I didn't pick for the base. The Greek salad is also good just not as good as the other two in my opinion. Falafels are small but made to order and absolutely delicious. I do wish I could get moar in the bowl but I get it. I'm always willing to pay for quality food. Pita on the side is a must (comes with the bowl) and if you're feeling extra snacky they have tasty pita chips as well (additional cost, not included with bowl). Sauce is boss here as well. You get two with the bowl. The only one I don't care for is the vegan tahini but it's there if you want it. I love the tzatziki and creamy garlic sauces. The garlic is probs my fave. I wanted some real food and saw they were open. I went inside and was greeted by wonderful staff. I asked if the kitchen was open at 10:30am and they said yes. So I proceeded to order the combo Beef and Chicken plate and a cup of coffee. The food came out within 10-15 minutes, I wasn't in a rush and it was delicious. The chicken wasn't dry, the beef wasn't dry, and both were seasoned well. The basmati rice and flat bread were the stars for me. As good as the meats were, the rice and bread were better. Both were fluffy and had a real savoriness to it. It was so satisfying. The coffee was strong and dark but not bitter. It was similar to percolating coffee so the flavors were rich, deep and strong. Overall the staff, food, and service was excellent. I'd stop here for Middle Eastern food any day.

I was a regular customer at Rumi's Oasis for several years and genuinely loved their baked goods,…read moreespecially their cakes. There used to be a young employee who was always polite, welcoming, and consistent with pricing. I ordered a mango cake for a party that cost $57, and I felt it was well worth the price because it was delicious. However, when I ordered the exact same cake just two weeks later, the employee checked with the owner and suddenly the price increased to $75. The inconsistency didn't sit well with me, especially over such a short period of time. After that employee left, I interacted with the owner more often and unfortunately my experiences became increasingly negative. On one visit, my friends and I had purchased food and were enjoying our meal when a wedding party arrived. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner sent the cashier to our table and essentially asked us to leave so there would be room for the larger party. We had already paid for our meals (as customers) and were just sitting and enjoying our food, and the experience felt very disrespectful. On another visit, we stopped by with friends for pastries. While overseeing a remodeling project, the owner approached us and asked, "Are you going to be ordering food?" The tone made us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. The owner has seen us many times but behaves like she doesn't know us. This was especially disappointing considering how much money I had spent there over the years and how many friends and family members I had brought to support the business. The pastries and cakes are still very good, but customer service matters. Unfortunately, the way we were treated repeatedly made us feel unappreciated as loyal customers, and that's why I can no longer recommend the experience.

She'd noticed my growing curiosity about Afghan cuisine from a previous visit elsewhere and gently pointed me toward Chopan Kabob House, insisting it was worth the experience. There was something comforting in that recommendation--like being guided toward a place that already held meaning for someone you trust. When I arrived, I was immediately struck by the restaurant's clean, welcoming atmosphere. The space felt intentional--nicely furnished without being overwhelming, simple yet warm. I mentioned I was ordering takeout, and the gentleman behind the counter handed me a menu. At first glance, it seemed straightforward, but the more I looked, the more it felt thoughtfully curated--each item carrying a sense of tradition and care. Wanting a proper introduction, I chose the Combination Kabob with Tikka and chicken. It felt like the right balance--a way to experience more in a single meal. I was told it would take about 20 minutes, and as I sat waiting, I found myself appreciating that detail. In a world built on speed, those 20 minutes felt reassuring. It suggested intention, freshness, and the kind of cooking that isn't rushed. When I finally brought the meal home and opened the container, I was genuinely surprised. The portions were generous--almost abundant. A vibrant salad added a refreshing contrast, while the long-grain rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked. Then there were the stars of the meal: the Tikka beef and the chicken, both beautifully prepared. Each bite carried depth--layers of spices and seasoning that felt both bold and comforting. It wasn't just flavorful; it felt rooted in something deeper, something traditional. By the time I finished, I realized this wasn't just a satisfying meal--it was an experience that lingered. There's a certain nostalgia in discovering a place like this for the first time, especially through the recommendation of someone close to you. It feels personal, almost like being let in on a secret. I'm already looking forward to returning, perhaps next time to dine in and take in the full experience.
