Always great food, consistent, premium quality and presentation . #21 is my go to sandwich, although everything I've had is amazing.

    Ruben with pasta

Great sandwiches and great salads. This is a straight forward sandwich shop. The quality is top notch and the service is great. It's set up near small business parks and definitely serves that crowd. Delivery drivers were coming in and out the whole time we were eating lunch. But, with as busy as they were, our meals were served very quickly. The Ruben was perfect. Lightly toasted, just the right amount of mustard. The pasta side was a great choice versus the standard bag of chips.

Fantastic sandwiches! You can tell these guys are foodies. My turkey, brie, apple sandwich is worth the trip. The French dip with brie is something to travel for! Fresh, fun and fantastique! I will be back!

My go to is The Med sandwich on a French roll. So delish and refreshing! a unique sandwich, crafted to excellence!

    Mt Fuji Salad

Came here to have lunch with a friend. She had the salad/sandwich combo. I had the Mt Fuji Salad. The restaurant is small and intimate and has an outdoor area. We were there during the lunchtime rush but got our food fairly quick. The portion size is smaller than I'm used to, but price is reasonable. It's a salad, nothing special. I gave it a 4-star bc I like the atmosphere. Once the lunch crowd cleared, it had a homey feel, very comfortable.

Bad: Their "Kobe" burger was $29 or so and was a good portion size. The problem? Lacking any kind of flavor or seasoning. The beef was flavorless. The stroganoff was a good portion size but again it was severely lacking in the seasoning department. Good: Those who ordered the corn soup and the porcini mushroom ravioli enjoyed them. They especially enjoyed the sauce from the ravioli. The desserts overall were enjoyed by the table. The sticky toffee pudding, while not as rich as we are used to, was still relatively good; soft and moist enough. The dark chocolate oblong with mango passion fruit was enjoyed by everyone too. The interior remains unchanged; like a classy London gastropub. Service: communication is key. Where they dropped the ball was that we mentioned on the reservation that we were there for Father's Day and prime rib, which they do on Sundays. As you walk in you even see the sign for the prime rib special. We sat down and the server mentioned that there was no prime rib this weekend. I had even chatted with them on the reservation app and they made no mention of this. We could have gone somewhere else had we known in advanced. Our server was relatively nice too.

We got the foccicia bread basket as an appetizer and it was really good, herb, olive oil, soft bread like a sponge. The chicken pot pie was excellent, full of flavor, great crust and good filling. I got the French dip, it was probably one of the best I had in a while. The au jus was the best part, thick, flavorful along with a strong creamy horseradish. Service............. Not so much. For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come. I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.

We made a brunch reservation for 11:30am, though we ended up ordering off the regular menu rather than brunch. That was the first odd note of the afternoon. Before the appetizers, they brought out focaccia with herbed butter, a nice alternative to the standard bread basket. The calamari appetizer with marinara and tartar sauce was fine, nothing memorable. My mom's eggplant parmesan arrived warm but not hot and cooled down quickly. The pizzas, a Funghi and a Margherita, were cooked well in the stone oven and were genuinely the best thing on the table, but they arrived warm and cooled down quickly, the same issue as my mom's eggplant parmesan. With the air conditioning blowing directly overhead, hot food didn't really stand a chance. The service is where things unraveled. When we were first seated, the manager came by and helped with my dad's walker, which was a nice touch. After that it went downhill. When my dad asked for something light, the waiter recommended the carbonara, a dish built on guanciale, grana, egg, and black pepper. That's not light by any definition. It's a basic gap in menu knowledge that does the guest a disservice. The menu also had salmon, ricotta toast, and eggs in purgatory. My dad also asked for red pepper flakes to go with his pizza and they took unusually long to arrive, so he had to flag down a different waiter to get them. The waiter noticed I was drinking my Bloody Mary slowly and offered a different version that actually tasted better. If there's a preferred version, lead with it. When I made eye contact to signal we were ready to pay, he acknowledged it but continued socializing with a coworker before finally coming over and taking my card, as if he was surprised we wanted to pay. When a customer is ready, they're ready. He took my card, asked if we wanted dessert, went to grab the dessert menu, then handed it back. Just hold onto the card. I'm paying with the same card regardless. Handing it back makes no sense. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, with a full bar, outdoor seating, a small store at the entrance, and a vegetable garden out front. It's a great setting. Dinner service might be a different experience, but on this visit the dining room wasn't particularly full, which made it more noticeable that the staff prioritized socializing over the guests in front of them. For the record, the suggested tip on the receipt started at 18%. On the way out, two hostesses stood by and did nothing while my parents, one of whom was on a walker, made their way to the door on their own. Getting the door is common courtesy for the elderly. Pietro's has the ingredients of a great restaurant. The space is beautiful, the stone oven pizza is genuinely good, and the brunch menu has real potential. But a restaurant is only as good as its execution, and right now the service and the food temperatures are letting the kitchen down. They just need to meet it.

I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. I tried some of her fries and they were thin but still crispy. Overall the food at West Oak Nosh was so good and delicious! Service was good, prompt and our server was attentive despite being by herself. I think this place is great for the summer to have a drink and eat. Will have to come back for the drinks!
