After having spent several thousand dollars at this particular AT&T store over the years for…read moreiphones and accessories for myself and family members, I am wondering why I would ever do so again. I have an issue with a phone that I purchased there a little over a year ago, and I brought it in. The saleswoman would . not . even . touch . the . phone. She had a little slogan memorized, which she said to me at least three times, which goes something like "We're your AT&T wireless provider," meaning that and nothing more. I pointed out that I bought the equipment right there, which makes them the retailer, and that I had paid AT&T (not Apple or Mophie), and that I can produce the receipt which shows that. She recited her slogan each time and little else. She told me to call Geek squad, or Apple, or Mophie. She was as professional as she was unhelpful. Presumably staff are told not to do or say anything other than to sell phones and service contracts. Which means there is no sense in buying phones and allied equipment from this, and presumably any, AT&T store. Next time I'll go to the Apple store or maybe elsewhere, but I can't see going back to an AT&T store. For my visit today, they stood for nothing.

Fixed the charging port on my iPad Pro 6th gen…read more The 6th gen iPad Pro has a flimsy but expensive screen that needs to be removed to replace the port. So many repair shops either didn't want to bother or quoted a ridiculous, "eff-off" price just to send a message that they didn't want to work on them. He did not. Very knowledgeable and friendly "nerd" owner with a great, customer-oriented attitude. And he underpriced the competition by almost half! (My suspicion is that the others break a lot of screens doing this repair, so they build in the cost of making a mistake into their price; whereas he is careful enough and uses methods to not break the screen so as to not need to build the cost of his mistakes into the price.) FWIW, I have high standards, sometimes think I know too much, and can ask too many questions. Mike indulged me on all questions regarding a simple iPad repair and then some. (Other repair shops didn't want to talk about their methods or ideas). Cleaned my iPhone port for free, too! Very good communication of the risks and options for the iPad repair. I recommend them very highly to my friends, and now to you.

The guys at Free CheckFix took my problem in stride and found a way to get my printer to communicate with my computer. When returning home with my working system I was trying to shut the truck door while holding the brother laser and promptly dropped the printer on the driveway and trashed it. Mark and David found a new Brother Laser and a new CPU that could run windows 11 and together they were cheaper than what I paid for the old laser printer. The prices were low, service high and attitude was positive ............... I'm very lucky I discovered them

My chief complaint is that it is very unclear where you should go upon arriving to the store. The staff seems to be well trained, but also a little bit too lackadaisical. I understand that Apple goes for a chill vibe, but this was an unorganized mess. After somebody checked me in, they told me my laptop was ready for pick up. When I went to the pick up area, I was processed the same as I was at the check-in -- the only other thing I had to do was to show identification. Additionally, I was asked if I had any trade-in devices, but I told them I was being shipped a box to ship back to the Apple headquarters and they were OK with that. I was told to wait while another colleague would bring out my MacBook and once he did, there was no bag to go with it so a different worker fetched me a bag. The weirdest part was that I had to bag my own laptop........lol? It was super congested for being about 3 o'clock on a Wednesday and I truly did not know why there were so many people just hanging out. Surrounding stores were kind of sketchy and I truly did not feel safe walking out with my new Apple product. The only kudos I have here are that one of the supervisors approached me and told me they liked my T-shirt and gave me a fist bump, which was nice. Other than that, I do not know why this Apple Store operates the way it does, and I believe that customers who are not truly customers (aka just people who are sitting down using their phones) should not be allowed to occupy space in this establishment. I guess Apple has now entered the affordable laptop space with the MacBook Neo. Of course this will come with a whole new set of complications, users, and troubleshooting. I'm here for the ride... I guess I don't have any choice!

I interacted with two Apple team members before I connected with the Apple technician. Expectations were adequately set that they normally do not work on third party solutions. First, recommendation...reboot. Check! Delete & Reinstall Spotify...Check! These recommendations did not eliminate songs from jumping around. Final recommendation, reinstall the operating system. Apparently, this takes about 30 minutes, so I decided to wait until I got home. My phone is currently being updated. Will find out tomorrow if that jumping around issue has been solved. I am cautiously optimistic. Will listen to my playlist tomorrow...too tired tonight.
