Hibachi and Kobe better watch their backs. Jeremy is the way to go! He brings the fun and excitement of a traditional teppanyaki dinner to the comfort of your home. He is personable, hilarious and most of all a Teppanyaki master chef! The food was delicious! The personal touches, like a personalized menu give it that extra special touch! You will not be disappointed.

The best teppanyaki I have ever experienced. Jeremy is so funny and personable during dinner. The food was amazing and he has a passion for what he does. Such a fun and memorable night. Will be booking if I'm ever in the area again. Thanks Jeremy!

    Dinner with a show!

Wow... Jeremy and the services at Yaki24 Teppanyaki Catering were incredible. We had SO much fun with him coming to our Air Bnb for my cousin's bachelorette party in Palm Springs!! I could tell things would be great when I first reached out for a quote.. within one day I had all of the details and answers to my questions provided. The catering agreement was then signed and finalized in a detailed and professional format as soon as I confirmed exactly what we wanted. I can't decide what was my favorite part of using this catering service.. maybe it was Jeremy's amazing sense of humor and perfection at entertaining our entire group (which included a bridal party ready to have fun, some non drinkers, and even a vegetarian). He made it fun for every one of us and really wow'ed us with his accommodations, hilarious attitude, tricks on the grill, and overall entertainment factor. But, as a true foodie myself, I think my favorite part was the OUTSTANDING quality of the food he provided. Everything was home made and top notch quality and ingredients. I'm still dreaming of the prime filet mignon that melted in my mouth.. and the friend rice... I have been to Benihana and other teppanyaki style restaurants many times and this food did not compare to any of those places.. it was 100x better. Additionally, Jeremy's attention to detail when setting up and cleaning up EVERYTHING was icing on the cake as we didn't need to lift a finger. When the trip was over and we asked our bride what her favorite part of the 3 day trip was, she said one word.. "JEREMY!" THANK YOU JEREMY FOR THIS INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. If you are thinking of booking a personal chef, do yourself and your party a favor and do not hesitate to book with Jeremy at Yaki24 Teppanyaki Catering.

The menu was terrific. All the food is amazing but Jeremy's fried rice is the BEST!

Jeremy Gomez has the BEST concept. He brings the teppanyaki to you and gives you a special, customized dinner. It's more than dinner. It's also a show! The food was amazing! We had miso soup, mixed green salad with ginger dressing, mixed veggies, fried rice, Prime Filet Mignon, Lobster, and Black Tiger Shrimp. If you're looking for a special occasion event, go with Yaki24. You won't be disappointed. He brought everything too: tables, chairs, linens, décor, lighting, music, and a helper.

The place was almost empty and they squished us in with another family, which made it somewhat uncomfortable. Our waitress was also extremely rude. She immediately asked to take our orders- before we even had time to sit down. She spoke too fast and seemed stressed or angry, or like she was rushing us out. I didn't appreciate feeling like I was taking up space- she made us feel unwelcome. Despite this, we took our time and ordered drinks, which were nice and strong (albeit overpriced) The menu is also expensive, and although we ordered nothing out of the ordinary, our bill was over $300.00. The food tasted fine. No complaints there. We enjoyed watching our chef cook in front of us and the overall experience was a memorable one. Nevertheless the kids had a fun evening, and I made the best of it, but I will not be returning. At that price point there are many better food options in the Palm Desert area.

It was a little bit expensive for the amount of food on each plate My kids got the chicken kaarage, and gyoza, pretty standard. the yellowtail and avocado roll, the rice on the sushi was a little bit mushy. We ordered too late so takeout was the only option. We tried the ribeye and salmon combo as well as the chicken and shrimp hibachi combo. We also ordered a Dynamite roll, California and a Shrimp Tempura roll. The hibachi items were okay. We were hungry and it seemed to fit the bill. The salmon was a bit salty and the ribeye was a little dry. The shrimp was fine but the chicken was a little bland. You get a white spicy sauce with it, unsure if you drizzle or dip. It didn't add much more flavor, just a little kick. The rolls were standard. The Dynamite sounded so appealing with the soy rice paper, but overall it was average. The white spicy sauce was drizzled over it plus the Dynamite is already a spicy roll to begin with, so be forewarned. For the chef to have lived in Japan and have extensive experience in Japanese restaurants, the expectation was a bit higher. Our whole order was $82 but they do add a surcharge which is the cost to pay with your credit card. Side note: It's a bit of a pet peeve of mine when businesses charge you this fee bc to me it's their cost of doing business. Businesses never used to do this, but seemed to have pivoted to this after covid. They should just build it into the cost of the food. Anyway, overall this place was a good change of pace for the offerings in Palm Desert, but unsure if I would return here.

We chose to sit on the patio, where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset--made even better when the staff kindly lowered the umbrellas so we could take it all in. For dinner, I had the sticky rice and the 808 sushi roll, both of which were outstanding, while my husband ordered the pork chop and loved it. To top it off, we were surprised with a complimentary flourless chocolate cake for dessert, and it was absolutely decadent. The service throughout the night was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. We even had the chance to say goodbye to Mitch and his wife on our way out, which added a personal touch. It's always special to discover and support a unique, locally owned restaurant like this
