Such a great experience with this business. I took on the planning of meals for a recent bachelor party in Palm Springs, and BBQ was the theme for Friday night. After searching for numerous vendors and options for food (on Labor Day weekend) - I landed on this business. Quick response via email (just my style) SUPER affordable and very accommodating to my requests. They served 20 of us Ribs, Chicken, Green beans - WITH BACON (yes, queue the drooling), Corn on the cob, salad, and mac and cheese that we proceeded to eat out of the pan at the end of the night. Drop off was quick and painless, they brought the trays in ready to serve and provided all of the utensils needed to serve, plates, napkins and utensils to eat. We could not have asked for more from this business. It was an AWESOME experience. If I had to give one item of feedback, it would be to connect with easier payment methods (Zelle, Venmo). We had to pay cash/check for deposit and final balance and I am in Northern Ca. So we had to put a check in the mail - which can be scary these days. We collected money from everyone via venmo, so luckily I had my checkbook with me to pay the final balance day of. Brian & Rachel provided us with delicious Tri-Tip, chicken, Ceasar salad, baked beans, coleslaw, corn, King's Hawaiian Rolls, Ceasar dressing, WLLB BBQ sauce, plates, napkins, and utensils for serving & eating. Delivery was prompt on the day of the party and Rachel & Brian did most of the set-up, so all we had to do was remove the tray lids that kept the fresh food hot until our guests were ready to dig in. All of our guests had plenty to eat & several commented that it was some of the best bbq & sides they had tasted in a long time. I called and got a quote for multiple catering companies that served In Indio, CA. I went with Rachel & Brian to host my husband's 50th birthday celebration because they were responsive, personable, and had great reviews for their food and service. Whole Lotta Love BBQ was punctual, quick and efficient. The food was hot and fresh upon arrival and set up. They had plates, utensils, and serving spoons and tongs. There was plenty of food for 30 people. It was so good, especially the ribs....(fall off the bone ); nothing was wasted. We had left overs for seconds and late night munchies. The only thing I regret was not asking for the Caesar salad dressing to be on the side cause it was soggy and lettuce was not crunchy. I was hosting a weekend getaway in Palm Desert for 15 people for my birthday. Last minute my caterer cancelled on me! I called Whole Lotta Love BBQ on a Wednesday night and asked if they could accommodate my party last minute. I wasn't sure if I needed them Saturday or Sunday, but they said they could accommodate either day. I was blown away at the last minute service for a full BBQ dinner. Their menu on their website was easy to follow and their follow up skills was clear, quick and efficient. After placing my order the following day on Thursday, I changed their arrival time from 4pm to 1pm and they were once again accommodating for the last minute change. I never had to follow up with them, they arrived on time, carried everything in and were very kind. The food was hot and amazing. I ordered ribs, chicken and tri-tip and it came with potato salad, baked beans, corn and bread. They even included utensils and plates. The ribs were fall off the bone and delicious. I also ordered a pan of mac n' cheese! It was all a hit! We also had so much left overs! It was easy, priced fairly and delicious. I also gave them a 20% gratuity that wasn't required like some of the other vendors I spoke to, but should be. We hired Rachel and Brian to cater our March 2017 wedding in Bermuda Dunes and from first contact through the end of the night, we couldn't have been happier with our choice. As a Missourian, I was raised on barbecue and, having waited tables in an authentic BBQ restaurant back in the day, consider myself a bit of a connoisseur. Their food did not disappoint. From the bacon wrapped jalapeños served during our cocktail hour through the tri-tip, pulled pork, ribs, cole slaw, green salad, corn, pasta salad, mac and cheese and rolls we dished up buffet style for dinner, every bite was perfect. Many of our guests came back for seconds and thirds and we still had enough leftovers to make pulled pork nachos for our late-night pool party and munch on everything for lunch the next day. We just had our wedding at a home we rented in La Quinta. I saw the reviews, and felt for one of our day's there at the home our family would enjoy a catered barbecue. We ordered a meal for 20 people. The tri tip melted in our mouths, their special sauces were so amazing. The chicken was moist and tender. The ribs fell off the bone. The owners were on time, set up everything, and reminded us of making sure we refrigerated the food within a proper time. Salads, were not like store bought salads. They were unique, cold, and tasted like GRANDMA / Grandpa made it which they did. If you live in this area, I would reserve them months ahead, as they are reasonable in price, and their food is to live for !. I will use them again for our reunion next year with my family. The process could not have been easier - Rachel was extremely responsive and sent over the menu options with price points right away.
