It's open and bright and cheerful. There's even an adorable office dog! In addition to the expected electrical stimulation, ice, heat and massage, they also provide cutting edge technology including cold laser, ultrasound & ultrasound enhanced cortisone. The staff is skilled, caring and friendly. They are dedicated professionals that know their work. The patient base is very diverse. I may have an athlete to my left, and a senior citizen to my right, while I gaze at a child , across the room, being treated for a soccer injury. It was right in the range that I might need to take an OTC drug, or just suffer with it. My wife suggested to try a chiropractor she started using. I met Dr Lorenz at Health First in Schaumburg Illinois, as part of the suggested regime when I started in 2021. As he began the treatment, he could immediately tell the muscles and tissues in my back where like a rock, as a natural response to the previous injury. He skillfully found all of the pain centers residing in my back, an painfully began to use naprapathic message to ease the tension and reduce the pain. I followed him when he decided to open Revolutionary Health, he seemed to have the space to begin more advanced concepts. He has begun to use a chiropractic bench which gives greater articulation to work on the back. He also has been able to begin treatment of the menial tunnel syndrome that I developed in my right arm, which seems to provide greater relief than when I went with the typical orthopedic treatments. I also has experience with magnetic treatments, which I've heard can provide pain relief as well. Overall, his treatment methodology is painful at the beginning, but in the long run, provides a terrific non-drug methodology to alleviate pain. Thankfully, my insurance covers this type of treatment. Generally speaking, since his practice is new, the office experience is a bit muted, since he does not have a staff. He has generally flexible scheduling between 9 am and 6 pm. Overall, I cannot express enough my recommendation for Dr Lorenz. Please consider this type of care, as a non-drug related substitute or addition to pain care.

In July, 2021, I knew I had pulled something in this area but thought it would disappear. Little did I know it would get much worse. By the time I saw Dr. Lorenz I had seen two MD's and had many sessions of physical therapy with two different therapists. I was still not in good shape. I had to lift my left leg to get into the car and bathtub. Dr. Lorenz suggested four sessions in a two week period. I knew after the first session I was much better. After the fourth session I was practically back to normal. Shortly after that I was back to normal! I now see him every three weeks and feel wonderful. He also is trained in Bio-Magnetic adjustments which I highly recommend. Dr. Lorenz is extremely personable, intuitive, a good listener, and truly cares about his patients. Dale did his own Xrays and showed me all the structures on the screen with green and red lines for me to see what the normal position and curves should be, with both sets of tests. The team there is Dale Mraz DC and his assistant Ellen O'Malley. The treatment plan from Dr. Dale who's certified in BioPhysics, has resulted in my neck moving "back over my shoulders", no radiating pain in my left arm and no need to apply CBD pain gel daily. My low back is much less painful by doing core strengthening exercises and micro current electric stimulation around L4 at each visit. Ellen supervises positioning the repetitions to ensure proper alignment and follow through. They both are always very welcoming, manage several patients in the PT space like a well oiled machine and I truly enjoy going and having their company when I'm there. In November 2017, I started having severe nerve pain in my head. The pain was so intense, I would…read morewake up crying at night. I went to urgent care and was told I had occipital neuralgia (the nerve that runs from my spine into my head was either pinched or damaged). Urgent care had no good solution. They gave me a steroid and told me to take over the counter pain meds. The steroid helped, but as soon as I was finished with them, the pain returned. I felt helpless. I decided to do some research on the condition and how to fix it. I came across a video that had a chiropractor stating that he could fix this problem. This was just what I needed. However, I found out he was located in Colorado. I am in Illinois. I decided not to give up. I looked up several chiropractors in the area and found Dr. Joseph Riggio with Itasca Health & Chiropractic. Upon my first visit, he was VERY thorough. He was straight forward with his diagnosis and the treatment that lies ahead. He told me it will be painful, but it will be worth it. We will trade pain for wellness. I have to say, the treatment was indeed quite painful, BUT it worked. Within 2 months, I was completely pain free. Even the treatment itself didn't hurt anymore. I felt like a new woman. If the patient is interested, Dr. Riggio also will discuss leading a healthy lifestyle. He has a wealth of wonderful supplements that help heal and nourish the body. With great hesitation, he convinced me to try a 30 day detox. I was terrified. I am happy to report that I followed the detox to the letter and have lost 19 lbs. within the 30 days. I am still losing weight and have no desire for fatty, greasy, unhealthy foods. It is just not appealing to me anymore.
