This is a small shop with an 'outlet' attached. Not sure if the outlet sells irregular candles or…read moreretired scents. They also do personalized candles, which I find are always a hit for $5 extra. You just scan a QR code and upload a picture(s) from your phone and the shoppe worker does the rest! The staff here is very helpful and go out of their way to help you in whatever way you need. I bought 4 candles and had them all personalized. The label machine was just a tad off and the person who helped me spent the time to make 3 of the same labels, until they were just right! The candles look perfect because of the extra time she spent vs. using the first labels with small lines on the side. Great customer service! The store is clean and easy to browse. The selection isn't fantastic ... it's what you'd find in your average mall Yankee candle. I try not to light too many of these because they are made with Parafin wax, which is one of the least clean-burning waxes. However, once a year I get them as gifts because people like the scents and the personalized photo labels make a great impression. The staff are wonderful here ... from the manager to the workers ... and would make me come back because you feel welcome and catered to. It's worth a trip to Sturbridge if you happen to be on the Mass Pike or 84 passing by. There are plenty of nice restaurants in this town as well.

We started in the outlet, because that's what one does, and I passed the time while she smelled every candle by playing with my phone. She eventually found a few items and we headed over to the main store. This was a quick trip. While there was a larger selection of scents, it was pretty much the same as the outlet, but with friendlier staff, and there was nothing else she could find. Because they change scents seasonally, it's someplace to visit often. Luckily, there's one closer to where I live, so visiting this location would be done when I'm in the area.

We visited during their "Christmas in July" event, so Santa was there, which the kids loved. There's a sand play area, a kids' toy section, a Christmas area, scents, fudge, ice cream, pizza, an animatronic show with seating, Build-A-Bear, ornaments, and flowers everywhere you look. There really is something for everyone. Just know that pretty much everything here is expensive. We usually treat it more as a place to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere rather than shop. Even without buying much, it's still a fun experience. The whole place has a fun, festive atmosphere and is easy to wander around. The only thing that surprised me was how many grouchy people we ran into. Come on people, you're surrounded by flowers, ice cream, and Christmas decorations in July. Crack a smile and enjoy yourselves. Overall, this is a wonderful place for families and one I'd happily come back to.

I would imagine this place would be HELL if you dropped a tab of acid because there are so many hidden rooms that are extremely detailed, such as the christmas area. There's animatronics (I'll leave it at that) in the, what feels like, food court area. It's very nostalgic to a mall, serving food, fudge, and drinks with a huge seating area. There's a build a bear, make your own candles, and even a sand area! It's a fun little trip and the outside garden area is very peaceful. The bricks on the floor include employees of 10+ years on them, which I thought was thoughtful.
