Parking available out front of the shop and around. Reservations are highly recommended. We had a group of 6 ladies so we booked ahead. Let me start by saying the staff was friendly and patient. Eager and excited to assist us. We were given a clip board and a pen to jot down our favorite scents along the wall not worrying about the combo so much. Then we sat down at our table where we had a brief consultation with a staff member that help guided us with matches. I was able to smell the oils in their respective bottles and then combined into jiggers. I made 2 separate medium size candles and mixed Sandalwood + White Tea on one and English Ivy + Eucalyptus on the other. Our staff member provided us the hot wax in a glass container to pour the oil mixture into to stir and combine. We made labels for our candles and the staff member would take care of the rest. It takes 2 hours to set and can be picked up prior to 14 days max. Excited to pick up the candles and to burn them at home. I was told I could bring the candle container back in when finished to get a discount on reusing it again. Will be back for sure!

Not too sweet and very subtle. My only complaints about our visit were the two employees were pretty unfriendly. They did not offer much help and were fairly hands off which I think is pretty important in this shop. I would think that most people coming in don't know what scents go well together (I know I didn't!). Based off this experience, I would have a difficult time going back to this location or suggesting it. I don't want to be harsh, just honest. The concept itself is really simple and a fun way to get together with friends or for a date night though!

The decor was so fabulous, seemed like a mashup of cozy, modern, rustic chic! The host, who must have been the owner, was so attentive, I can tell she's very passionate about providing high quality service and ensuring a fun atmosphere! The selection of scents were broad and also very unique! They had fall scents behind the counter to use so that was even more awesome that they rotate scents based on the season! The showers was a few hours long so we had plenty of time to enjoy some food from the shower and also make a candle. There is so much product carelessly strewn across the sales floor, it's hard to tell where 1990 begins and 1993 ends...seriously dated folks. Today I finally got a refund and walked out angry over the poor customer service policies and/or personnel. I will not return. Maybe it's the way they handle purchases in building supplies...The problem is they DON'T handle purchases at the building supply counter. That's definitely not customer friendly. Maybe it's the dead-eyed apathy of some of the staff. Maybe it's just that I am too old to walk back and forth across that huge store three or four times just to complete a purchase and arrange a delivery while staff stand around refusing to help (even after I specifically asked for help.) I guess they don't realize who ultimately makes it possible for them to have a job...or to keep a store going. It's all about good customer service for good customers, baby...and you blew it!

The furniture has never remained fully functional for any meaningful period of time. While repairs were technically covered under warranty, the process was incredibly frustrating. Replacement parts took months to arrive, calls to the Lancaster store often went unanswered, and corporate customer service made it very clear they did not care that we have spent much of the last year unable to fully use furniture we paid thousands of dollars for. We simply asked about returning or exchanging a sectional that has had ongoing mechanical failures since the beginning, but after more than a year of issues, we were offered only a $100 store credit. I understand defects can happen, but after repeated repairs, long delays, and dismissive customer service, I would not purchase furniture from Big Sandy again.
