    Strawberry Matcha
    Alex M.

The place is very pretty inside, nice ambiance. I just came for a quick coffee and tried the strawberry matcha and the vanilla matcha. Firstly, they gave me the wrong order. After that, it did take a while to just get the two drinks. The strawberry matcha is not good. Ended up throwing it out before leaving the place. The vanilla one was too artificial and grainy and overall really watery too. Don't get drinks here, hopefully the food is better.

A beautiful cafe! I loved the decor and the presentation of the pastries. It was a Sunday noon of a hot day and we walked in for some ice cream that they advertised outside and inside. It was pretty empty inside but we had to wait at the register for bit. I ordered a Dubai ice cream only to find out they had no ice cream at all! Why would you advertise it outside if you have none? Oh and no OJ either. I will give them another opportunity, the pastries did look really good.

Stopped by to grab some French pastries for guests in town. This cafe is so cute I want to come back to try the food so this review is just on the pastries! And one word: phenomenal! The cashier behind the counter helped recommend some of his favorites and packed them nice and neat as we were going to be enjoying them later in the evening. He even included an ice pack (ice in a cup) since it was so hot outside! The pastries run pricey however, average around $12 each it seems, but worth the treat! I had: Merveille, Banana Carmel, Blueberry Tart & Flan Vanille

The space is huge. There is a sit down option for brunch or you can grab-go pastries. The pastry case is so clean and each dessert is made to perfection. Vanilla flan - was encrusted with phyllo dough sheet, the flan itself wasn't overly sweet which I liked, vanilla bean was used instead of vanilla flavor as you could see the bean specs in the flan I would have loved to try the other pastries but was on a food crawl! The box and bag our dessert was put in was very upscale.

I think this is Pistachio Croissant pastries. Excellent! Buttery, flakey, and full of flavor.

We are visiting from the Tampa area of Florida. This is a beautiful French restaurant in Wynwood! Everything was great! While we were there it appeared they had a tea party for kids and a cooking class for them. If you are looking for something for a special occassion then give them a call to see what's available. Parking is on the street and paid via mobile app. The current cost (January 2025) is $3.50 per hour. What we are: Cappuccinos Fresh squeezed OJ Oeuf À La Coque - Served with finger brioche toast soft boiled on the shell (two) - $10 Salad - Baby lettuce, EVOO - $7 Maple Syrup Beef Bacon - $9 (sooo good!) 3 different pasteries - our favorite was the pistachio croissant (see photo), vanilla Flan (great, but be warned, it's on the heavier side) The guests seated next to us said the avacado toast was the best they've ever had. We will return when we are in the area.

Amazing lunch here, had the tuna melt with a baby salad. Brioche was spectacular and the dressing on the greens was perfect. I had rose because they were sadly out of prosecco but that was the only thing "wrong" about the experience. Service was very pleasant, slow if you are looking for a quick lunch, but I wouldn't want to rush at this place so it was fine with me. We were given a complimentary pastry that was delicious as well. Overall great experience. I have only been to the smaller location in Julia and Henry's food hall so this was a special treat, the decor is stunning - it's a total vibe in there.

Nice little upscale french cafe in the Wynwood area. Beautiful decor with lots of detail and tasteful design. Service was great, although it started off a little slow. We were in no rush so it wasn't an issue but I'd say if you're pressed for time, you may want to mention it from the beginning for more efficient service. I ordered a hot chocolate, a breakfast sandwich (LOOOVED) and a French Toast (to try/share). My cousin ordered the Avocado Toast. To go, we ordered some of the pastries to try. The breakfast sandwich was a win for me. The french toast, not as memorable. Overall, there's plenty of bakery items I'd like to come back and try to find my go-to. The vanilla and caramel brioche was quite good. Like with all things french, there are things that can be on the meh side, and some that can be exceptional. Looking forward to trying out the more exceptional items here that others are raving about.

A wonderful bright addition to Wynwood. A chic bakery with a variety of tasty desserts and small meals. Croissants are fresh with a nice soft crunch on the exterior and fluffy interior. I had a tuna croissant, which was delicious, and the mayonnaise wasn't overdone like other places. The hostess was very friendly and helpful but the server did his job but was just a bit cold in attitude.

Went for coffee on a Sunday with a friend after a pilates class in the neighborhood an had a great experience!! We sat inside and our waiter was super attentive. The place is beautiful, well decorated and has a nice atmosphere - more on the fancier/quieter side i would say - we even forgot we were in the middle of crazy Wynwood while there! That being said, expect a pricier breakfast. We ordered Iced Lattes that were strong GOOD! Then we had the Salmon Toast, the Eggs Benedict - both presentation and flavours were amazing! Of course we also had to try a few pastries and I FELL in LOVE with the Vanilla Chouquette. Everything was amazing! Cant wait to go back to try other items.

Place is tastefully designed/decorated with high-end finishes - it's an understated, but luxe mid-century meets art deco Miami style, with a dash of Parisian flair. There's inside and outside sitting, but inside sitting is limited. On day I went they were short-staffed with only one waiter, so everyone was pulling double duties, including the hostess, for whom we had to wait a while as she was folding cutlery into napkins in the back of the house, and couldn't see me waiting. When she eventually came, she was nice and accommodating - Sat us down inside and we reviewed the menu and settled on our dishes. After about 20 minutes of waiting for anyone to come take our order, I flagged hostess down and that's when we found out there was only the one waiter; however, she told him and he came right away - all the while I expected he'd give us an attitude for having to call him out, but nope, he was nice and proper, devoid of any attitude. I ordered the $19 Tuna Melt after debating between it and the omelette - the melt had a few ingredients I wasn't keen on that I had him remove. I also ordered my quintessential latte. My guest had the $24 Turkey Club sandwich, plus avocado and turkey for a grand total of $28 (a bit much for a sandwich if you ask me). We both opted for the hash browns (a complete must - they are delicious). A while later the food arrived. My tuna melt had a nice appearance; However, besides having a 'fishy' flavor (my friend confirmed), the bread-to-tuna filling ratio was completely disproportionate, with a thin spread of the tuna salad and two VERY thick slices of bread. Worse yet, the bread slices, being very thick, were a bit hard/toasty outside, but soggy/stale inside, and biting into it, would make the little tuna salad in the sandwich squeeze out of it like mayo. All that, combined with fact that tuna had been fashioned with lots of minced cucumber pieces (there was no mention of it on the menu - and I asked about the usuals like onions and celery as I don't like a crunch in my tuna salad, and was told none of those were present) made it very unenjoyable for me. I called the waiter and advised I didn't like the sandwich, so I asked for the omelette instead. I requested for it to be cooked very soft (normally I say barely cooked so that it actually comes out soft - else if I say soft, it will usually not only not be soft, but a fully cooked hard disc I can't eat - few places know how to properly cook eggs). Anywho, since I had eaten about a 1/3 of the Melt when I realized I wouldn't enjoy my meal if I continued. in not trying to seem like I was gunning for a free entree, I told waiter he could just add the omelette and didn't have to remove the Melt from the check. However, when a customer sends a dish back saying he CAN'T eat it because he didn't like it, it's customary for the dish to be removed from the check in any fine establishment (that wasn't the case - I ended up paying for it). By this point they seemed concerned about my instructions for the omelette and having sent the Melt back, so the chef came out to table minutes later asking to confirm omelette instructions - so I reiterated. Omelette came out not too long after, and while it looked good, it was definitely a little more cooked than I would have liked - I think that's bc in an effort to make it most appealing, the gratined the cheese on top, and that cooked it even more. It still wasn't bad. The LATTE was GREAT with rich and smooth flavor, just a little on the colder side - I'm guessing they didn't warm the ceramic cup before pouring the latte in it. My friend said her Turkey Club sandwich was 'just OK'. Not OK for the cost. For DESSERT we opted for the Mille-Feuille Experience, and while it's cool seeing it being crafted in front of you, the experience is the only part worth the $20. Unfortunately, the pastry itself had a flavor that was too subtle at best, and the Feuilles (sheets) tasted a bit stale and ever so mildly rancid. I'm sure others might disagree with me. Service was great - Idk if this is standard, but a couple of times during the dining experience, they brought us complimentary madeleine pastries that were freshly baked (pulled right out from oven tray in front of us) and delicious. All and all, the staff was VERY accommodating and genuinely wanted to please while ambiance was refined. Because of this, the coffee and the hash browns, is why I'm giving this place a 4.

This upscale Café is definitely a treat! It has a high-end and upscale feel, and the pastries were beautiful as well. The price point is also definitely on the higher side. We enjoyed one of the chocolate lava cakes, which was absolutely delicious, and I loved the buttery shortbread on top as well as the caramel. It was very decadent and enough for two people, probably too much for one person alone. Overall, I really lovely experience and delicious treats, just a little bit too fancy and upscale for an every day experience. If you're in the area, you should definitely check it out.

Such a great café! I came for brunch with my family and had an amazing time. The atmosphere is both chic and relaxed, and the DJ on the weekend adds a really nice vibe. Highly recommend!

    Spanish Latte

Our visit to Yann Couvreur Café was mildly disappointing. The coffee was delicious, but unfortunately that was about it for us. The iced strawberry matcha left much to be desired, definitely would not recommend. The pastries were subpar, our matcha cheesecake was overcooked and stale, however the strawberry french cake was okay. The service felt rushed and sporadic, but the employees were all kind. Overall, in such a large diverse city offering higher quality drinks and bites (for much cheaper), Yann Couvreur is lower on our list to come back to.

After a few recent fine dining…read moreexperiences in Miami, I tempered them a bit, but I still expected exceptional food, beautiful presentation, and unique flavors and textures. For the most part, the food delivered. We shared several appetizers. The heirloom tomato dish with the saffron cracker was delicate, satisfying, and one of my favorite starters of the evening. The white asparagus was the only miss for me--it was overwhelmingly acidic and sour. The artichoke, however, was outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and every bite seemed to wake up my palate. The standout dish of the night was the spaghetti with caviar and Parmesan foam. It's difficult to describe because the flavors and textures worked together in a way that needs to be experienced rather than explained. If I ever returned, this would be the dish I would order again without hesitation. For mains, I chose the bison while my husband ordered the duck. The duck was tender with crispy skin, though it wasn't his favorite. The bison was exceptional. Wrapped in a croissant-like pastry with earthy mushrooms and served alongside a rich red wine reduction, it was incredibly tender and melted in your mouth. The mushrooms retained their texture without becoming mushy, and the sauce complemented both the bison and the mashed potatoes beautifully. Dessert was another highlight. The Black Forest dessert had the most impressive presentation, resembling a mushroom and fitting the restaurant's artistic approach. While it was delicious, the chocolate soufflé special was our favorite. Soft, airy, and paired with ice cream, it was perfectly executed. Cocktails were surprisingly strong across the board. I ordered their signature Michelin Star cocktail and enjoyed it so much I had three. The matcha cocktail and skinny margarita were also excellent. The cucumber cocktail wasn't for us, but overall the bar program impressed. The atmosphere was interesting. The dining room felt heavily influenced by Japanese design, with deep red tones, an open kitchen, and bar seating that reminded me of an omakase counter. It was intimate without being stuffy, and tables were spaced far enough apart that conversations remained private. The music blended into the background perfectly and never competed with the dining experience. That said, I didn't find the seating particularly comfortable, and while the room was attractive, it didn't feel especially luxurious or uniquely Miami. Where the experience fell short was service and pacing. At one point, our waiter walked away while someone in our party was still speaking and ordering. More importantly, there were long gaps between courses. While I understand that fine dining is meant to be enjoyed slowly, the pacing felt excessive. By the time dessert arrived, we were more tired than excited. I even asked for the dessert menu when our mains arrived because I anticipated the wait, but was encouraged to wait and enjoy the meal first. One detail I genuinely appreciated was the farewell gift at the end of the evening. As we were leaving, the staff handed us branded L'Atelier bags containing a packaged brownie with orange zest and shaved almonds. We were told to enjoy it with our morning coffee the next day. It was a thoughtful touch and a nice way to extend the experience beyond dinner. At over $1,400 for four people including gratuity, value is where I struggle most. The food was very good, and we left satisfied, but some details didn't feel consistent with the price point or a two-star Michelin experience. The silverware showed noticeable wear, service wasn't flawless, and while we left full, the portions were understandably small. I don't regret spending the money, but I'm not sure I would spend it again. Ultimately, I think L'Atelier is worth visiting if you're specifically interested in experiencing Michelin-starred dining. However, if someone were visiting Miami for the first time and asked where to have one unforgettable dinner, I would probably recommend a restaurant that better captures Miami's scenery, atmosphere, and energy. I'm glad I experienced it, and there are a few dishes I still think about--especially the caviar spaghetti and the soufflé--but for me this was more of a "worth doing once" experience than a restaurant I would return to again and again.

It's not easy to keep up with a table of many people asking for things all at once. This service staff had it figured out. They were on it with everything from our wine order with the sommelier to the servers who made sure our glasses were never empty, and our food was continuously flowing. If I could give more stars with service, I would. As far as the food - absolutely delicious. We started with the deviled eggs, escargot and foie gras. For dinner, several of our guests had the steak frites and they all loved it. Another guest had the leg of lamb and I had the special of the evening the dover sole. For the dover sole, they deboned tableside and it was absolute perfection. For dessert we tried the creme brûlée, chocolate tart, profiteroles & mango-pineapple ice cream and loved them all. Highly recommend Bouchon Bistro for an excellent dining experience.
